BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina Planetarium

Planetarium has great shows that are never crowded. The museum on the other hand is very dated and desperately needs to be refreshed. Not much has changed since I was a child in the 90s.

Great experience with a lot to see! Planetarium experience was awesome, but wish I had gone for a different show than we chose. Observatory was closed due to weather. Definitely coming back for a more thorough experience!

Nice Planetarium inside of a great museum. The enployee inside the Planetarium seemed to love the sound of their own voice though. I felt like her briefing took way longer than it needed to. Came here to hear about black holes... Which you reminded me of several times before the show started. Give us the basics... Then start the show lol. Overall a good experience though.

My kid liked it. Although the planetarium show was pretty boring (it was the Mars one) and the lady running it wouldn't stop talking after starting it late and running around.

Boring experience, overpriced, the planetarium animation or show was dull, we were expecting more vivid animations or 3d travels like other planetariums but it was only a static image of the sky and the hostess/narrator explaining the different constellations and nearby planets with a pointing laser. You can do this for free on YouTube. We left before the show ended, regretting every cent we paid (51 dollars two adults and 2 kids). Not coming back.
