Margaritaville Island Hotel - Pigeon Forge

I love love love coming here. It’s absolutely stunning in so many ways. The island itself where the resort is located is full of so many fun activities like shopping, dining, rides, and live music. There is a distillery and a winery as well. The resort itself is so beautiful inside and out. The lounge is graced with a magnificent fire place as well as a terrace in the river. The accommodations here at the resort are quite fine, and the staff super friendly and helpful. They go above and beyond make you feel welcome, and comfortable.

Amazing experience! My fiancé and absolutely loved our stay here. Everything about the entire property is wonderful. The staff was very friendly right from the beginning. We stayed in the Deluxe Village View king room, and let me say it was fantastic. Super clean, nicely decorated, and the bed was comfortable. Our balcony was a huge bonus as we love to people watch. I appreciated the walkability to all of the different shops, restaurants, activities, there’s so much to do!! Overall it was an awesome time and we will definitely return.

We had the best experience! Our room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. We had a beautiful view of the island! Check in and check out was quick and easy. Valet was awesome, they even turned the heated seats on for you. This hotel is in a great location with plenty to do and see on the island and a short drive to most activities in Gatlinburg. The coffee in the coffee shop was wonderful and there were a good amount of flavor options. We can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely amazing place to stay. The views from the room over looking the stream was awesome. The staff and facilities were equally as amazing. I really enjoyed being about to walk to where ever I wanted so I could relax with some tasty beverages. We will be going back!

Rooms were very nice and comfortable. I loved they placed music in the halls… it gave a real vacation feel but you can’t heard it in the rooms so it wasn’t disturbing. The rooftop pool was very nice. It was a great place for an adult get away! I can’t wait to go back!

Great hotel in the center of it all in Pigeon Forge. Friendly staff with lots of amenities like the in house coffee shop and Fins Restaurant. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. Beware of geese waking you up in the early morning if you have a river room! Avoid the crowds in the off season or through the week!

This is one of the nicest hotels me n my family has ever stayed at! Its built into the island & all the rooms either face the shops, the river, or the fountain so thats super nice & the pool is on top of the moonshine place that overlooks the entire island. U can actually sit in the pool & have it lit up by the ferris wheel! We didnt know that when we came but we was all excited when we found out! All the staff was super friendly we loved the bird in the lobby he danced for us. (i think his name was max..?) The rooms were SOOOO nice just like the pics & they smelt so good!!! It was a great trip we will definitely be staying here again.

Arriving was a little chaotic because of all the cars parked in the very small valet area. Check-in went very smoothly though. They offer valet parking and self parking. The self-parking area is a bit of a walk, so for people not able to walk far, you might want to valet. Also, if you or someone in your party have issues with walking long distances, you might want to request a room closer to the check-in area, as the walk to our room was pretty far.

We had a 1 bedroom King River Suite. The view on the balcony was gorgeous. You can actually hear the stream. The bed was comfortable and the bed and bath linens were of a good quality. Loved the walk-in shower with the two showerheads and the roomy vanity. We used the fireplace every day. It’s on a timer, so you don’t have to worry about forgetting to turn it off. The AC worked well and the TV channel selection was great!

The room offers a kitchenette with a single serving Keurig for coffee, a microwave & a small fridge. We had requested a bottle of wine, which was provided and chilled, but missing wine glasses, so we requested those from the front desk that evening. The people at the front desk were always very helpful. We ate at the restaurant/bar on the rooftop pool deck and had a wonderful experience there. The views are very nice and you can watch the fountains from there.

My experience at the spa was excellent. I highly recommend visiting it if you have time. The rates are very affordable for the experience you get and the relaxation area is very nice and relaxing. They offer you a complementary adult beverage and water after your treatment.

Our only complaint during our stay was the experience we had with housekeeping, which we addressed with both the General Manager and the Housekeeping Manager. They were both extremely responsive when we approached them with our issue, and they really made an effort to not only correct the situation, but make it up to us. That meant the world to us, and between that and the excellent stay we had overall, we definitely look forward to returning in the future.

We really enjoyed this hotel. I think it is the first time I've ever rented a room and got exactly what the pictures looked like. The balcony was super nice! We arrived very early. After driving all night, we just wanted to be in a room. I told them if they had a room open, I would pay extra to get in early. They managed to get us in a room by noon. They went above and beyond! The restaurants and bars were nice. The service, food and drinks were very good. Everyone, right down to the valet, were very nice. The marketplace was fun to visit. We liked the restaurants and shopping. I would definitely recommend staying here. We would stay there again.

Fantastic, amazing, and Wow, what an unforgettable hotel. The Margaritaville Island Hotel is not just a typical hotel.
My family and I come to the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area 2 or 3 times a year to get away from the city in Florida.
We typically stay in 4-star chain hotels, and usually change it up every year because we just haven’t found the perfect location. We have started to get tired of the same old thing. We have now found the perfect, ultimate resort hotel. The most important thing to me is cleanliness and service. This location gets five stars from a picky germaphobe mom. Everything was extremely clean. Our room had nice wooden style floors, very comfortable beds, room service, and a great view. Each room has a Keurig coffee pot with a selection of coffees and real creamer, not the powder. It also had a beautiful electric fireplace that was easily operated. The rooms are bigger than any hotel that we have stayed in thus far in 16 years.
Not to mention, the location is right inside of the island, which is the biggest and best amusement area in the Pigeon Forge/ Gatlinburg area. It’s so Easy to find if you just look for the giant neon Ferris wheel.
Close to everything, and there was no need this time for us to go anywhere. Our room had a Riverview, and a view of the neon bridge. Just downstairs is a bar, and coffee shop in the lobby with excellent pastries. Just outside the door you have outside restaurant seating with a fire pit, and a view of the musical, choreographed fountain show . My 16 year old son said the restaurant has the best flatbread pepperoni pizza, and chocolate cake that he has ever had. The restaurant has a double sided fireplace. The excellent service and attentiveness of the staff from the assistance at the front desk, to the very entertaining mixologist at the bar, to the valet reps with an EZ scan to get your Valet car ready typically in five minutes. What amazed me, is even the manager was out in front and was very accommodating and approachable to everyone. They did not hide in a room like so many of the other places we have stayed in.
After staying at this fantastic Margaritaville, Island Hotel, you won’t want to stay anywhere else, once you have stayed here. We are already making our plans to come back again. Get ready to be spoiled, and have an Amazing experience!

When checked in, the staff were behind nice. My dad and a man who worked there had a nice chat about the coast guard. The rooms were very nice, and the location satisfied us with the ships we wanted to go to right outside our room. The rooftop pool was our favorite part. We were able to get drinks and food while swimming. It’s best to go at night, because the Ferris wheel lights up the pool in a beautiful way. All in all, it’s an amazing experience that I definitely recommend.

This place is superb. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. Feels like a 5 star resort.
The restaurant on site is the best food I've ever had in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge are.
We will be booking here from now on.

My family loved this hotel. It was very convenient to the surrounding activities, had a nice pool, great customer service, and a nice coffee shop. We paid a bit extra for a "river view", thinking that it would be quieter and nicer overall. The room was spacious and very clean. However, our "river view" also included a back alley type employee parking lot....not what we had hoped for. We couldn't enjoy the balcony because employees were beneath us smoking, hanging out on breaks, getting in/out of cars, etc. Overall, the hotel is very nice. It has a relaxed, island vibe and caters to the Jimmy Buffet theme. We would absolutely stay there again...but not bother with the "river-view upgrade*.

The location of this place is wonderful! It is right in the Island Pigeon Forge. You can park on site and walk to all the fun stuff in minutes. There are rids in the area for kids, shopping, several restaurants, and many alcohol tastings - wine, cider, and moonshine. When you are done drinking and having fun, you can just walk back to your room. There is also a breakfast included with your stay at the hotel, which was surprisingly good. The breakfast area was clean and maintained by staff members throughout the service. The rooms were clean, the staff was nice..... I have been making staying at Margaritavilles a regular thing when it is an option due to the fact I know I'm getting a quality stay.

We arrived August the 27th and stayed until the first. We were so impressed by the staff going above and beyond to ensure we had the most amazing visit possible. Our housekeepers Violet and Haley were exceptional making sure we had everything we needed daily. I am a late sleeper. My daughter asked if they could let me know a good time for them come by. Violet smiles a truly genuine smile and says that it is always 5 o'clock. That is when I knew we had chose the best place to stay. Being comfortable and relaxed is how you would definitely spend your time there. Can't wait to go back.

In time for January Snow, which was beautiful. The only downside was that stores closed due to snow before snow even began sticking, but it was worth the trade-off to see snow. I would recommend Margaritaville to keep the coffee room open for guests to get coffee amd hot chocolate.

My family loved this hotel. The rooms are big with nice big showers. The location is great on the island with lots to do. We had a river view balcony which was peaceful. We loved the rooftop pool area, especially our daughter.

My only complaint, however I understand why they don’t, is not having any included breakfast options.

Beautiful place, convenient location with so much to do on the island. The rooms could have been a little cleaner. Loved the pool area, with the exception of a topless women in the hot tub... Kids wanted to go for a swim before the pool closed and to their surprise, there was an older couple making out in the hot tub and the woman was topless.

Location and rooms are great, it can be a little noisy so close to the island but personally I loved it, recommended
