Great place to walk and enjoy the river

We enjoyed our walk, especially after a great meal with my family. Beautiful views and energetic people.

Absolutely loved this river walk! I was driving through from Virginia to Alabama and saw the water and decided I needed to stop. I am so happy I did! It was a beautiful walk and I loved that you could walk down by the river or up along by the canal trail. When I started walking I only planned for 15 minutes, but I so throughly enjoyed seeing the wild life I just kept walking. I was tickled to see an alligator out sun bathing. I ended up walking to the water treatment plant and loved that there was a green area with chairs and during warmer months hammocks. It was so peaceful to sit and watch the river, and seeing family’s out an about with their pets. I absolutely appreciated that there were bathrooms open at both ends of the walk.
It was such a nice peaceful area to stop and stretch my legs after a long drive.

Overall great park! Scenic views and fun for families! Pet friendly!

So scenic and pretty. Can't go wrong with a visit. Alone, with someone, for your health or just peace of mind. 🙏🏾

The Columbia Canal was very peaceful and tranquil. A great spot for walking or cycling.

Awsome & beautiful they keep it so clean &the park rangers are so nice &eager to answer questions about the park &it's history. Wonderful serene place to walk ride bikes &have picnics. Scenery in incredible!!!!

Love walking down by the river. Very safe place. Plenty of space to walk or ride.

It's a great place to clear your mind and relieve stress. To walk or jog with friends. Even exercise, as well as bring your pet, bikes ect.. my family and I love the adventure especially the water!!

Always very clean and safe for children! If you need to get out for a quick evening walk or want to commit to a longer picnic lunch, this place is awesome for it all!

I came to this park multiple times a day! Its so beautiful and well maintained. The staff is always pleasant. I enjoy the serene environment

Beautiful peaceful serene.

Great trail along the canal to run or ride your bike. It goes on a good few miles and is a nice place to exercise or walk.

It's a beautiful park with the river running, making it peaceful to just listen to nature watching grasshoppers jumping and butterflies flying around.
