I am from Ohio, and I was visiting family in Oconomowoc for Christmas , when my 14 month old Golden Retriever was showing discomfort from an irritated eye.
My sister, Jo (who owns the Jewelry Mechanic down the road) recommended "Hallett Veterinary Hospital", so I drove over there the next morning...15 minutes before they were to open.
To my surprise, they were open already, and were able to fit him in their schedule that day.
It's a beautiful facility, and the staff are all very pleasant, and helpful.
Alfie's eye cleared up, and we are back home in Ohio, now.
Thank you again, for helping me take care of my boy, during this busy holiday season. Merry Christmas! :)

Have been a client since 2015.the Vets and their co-workers are always nice, smiles for everyone and great w my pups. My Royal just had his yearly and he needs his glands expressed monthly. They were great when I asked to learn how so I could do it at home with confidence. Super easy but messy and a proud moment. LOL. Oh, don't forget the Next Door groomers. Literally right next door to the clinic.

First visit to the vet since we moved to Lake Country. All the staff at Hallett Veterinary Hospital were great. They listened to our cat Frank's health history and were very responsive to our questions & concerns. Frank, of course, just made himself at home in their cat suite!

My dog has been a patient here for over three years and the care she has received has been outstanding. The office staff is consistently pleasant, helpful, compassionate and responsive to voice mails, emails, texts. The doctors and techs are highly trained, compassionate and wonderful to interact with. They clearly love animals and are compassionate and kind to the animals and to the people who love them. I am grateful to have such an amazing vet practice in this area!

I've been taking my dog to Hallett Vet Hospital for about 5 years. Dr. Fagan and his staff are professional, kind and knowledgeable. My dog recently underwent tooth extractions and he took the time to explain the procedure before and after. Text messages were sent to let me know surgery had started and finished. The receptionists are always beyond kind when I've called or had questions. For any check-up or procedure my dog has had over the years, the staff always follows up with a phone call. Great staff and place!!!!

As a retired Veterinarian, I recognize a Veterinary Hospital of excellence when I become a client. The Veterinarians are well educated and current in medical and surgical protocols. The support staff is absolutely wonderful to both the clients and the patients. The facility is pleasant, clean, and welcoming to both humans and animals. I hope all clients appreciate the tremendous service that Hallett Veterinary Hospital provides.

Our 1 1/2 year old Coton was injured jumping off the couch. We were turned away by the emergency vet as they were too busy. I called Hallett Veterinary Hospital and they made time for her. Turns out she has a problem with her right knee that we will always need to watch. They gave her some meds to help her recover and explained everything to us. They were excellent in caring for her and we appreciate them fitting her in! Thank you!

I have full confidence in all the vets at Hallett Vet to care for my pet, both for wellness checks and for illness care. My dog actually enjoys going to the vet and I believe it is because of the people there. They genuinely care about your pet and you!

Dr. Ann was fabulous to work with. My dog recently had her teeth cleaned and from start to finish the whole staff was super friendly and helpful. I was very impressed with Dr. Ann. She sat down with me and showed me before and after pictures of my dogs teeth. Also, my dog ended up needing a few teeth extracted and Dr. Ann took the time to show me the x-rays and explain why the extractions were necessary.

Twice we’ve been able to get our dogs in for an emergency visit when we couldn’t get into our own vet. We will be switching here as they have always been amazing with our dogs and helped out when we needed it most.

The staff at Hallet veterinary hospital is wonderful. They treated us with the utmost dignity and respect when we had to have our first dog put to sleep seven years ago. Our current dog has very high anxiety at his vet visits but they do everything they can to try to calm him- and me!

Dr. Ann Schneider and the Hallett team took WONDERFUL care of my two greyhounds for a dental cleaning. Greyhounds are a weird breed in terms of what needs to be done for their anesthesia, but Dr. Schneider is incredibly knowledgeable and I felt really confident my dogs were getting the best care with Hallett. As a newcomer to the Oconomowoc area, I selected this practice based on some recommendations from friends and the fact that they are an AAHA practice. That certification is very important to me. This practice is well run, the staff at the front desk and all of the vets and vet techs I have interacted with have been kind, knowledgeable and great with my rescue dog. They explain things extremely well, make follow up phone calls to check on my pet and provide excellent care. I will be a client here for a very long time!

Everyone at Hallett is so approachable and friendly. We had a scare with our French bulldog this week, and they were so patient, thorough, and caring for our boy. I especially appreciated the follow-up call to ensure he was doing ok after we left. We're about to purchase another Frenchie and will continue to use Hallett!

We live in Fox Point, but have no problem driving to Oconomowoc simply to take our dogs to Hallett. Their skill is unsurpassed. And their patience in explaining proposed procedures and following up remarkable. At every level, the vets, technicians, and staff at Hallett truly care. I love feeling confident that I am providing the best care possible to our English Bulldogs. The recent surgery on my 10 year old bully was a huge success. Thank you.

I would give Hallett Veterinary & Next Door Grooming 10 ⭐'s if I could. My mom has recently passed away and I have inherited her 90pd dog Lambeau...(I have not had a dog in over 13 yrs) Hallett and there staff has been a godsend for me. They reviewed his charts from Dallas Tx and took me under their wing... giving me all the knowledge I will need to properly take care of Lambeau. They went over vaccines, allergies, heartworm tablets, what kind of food to feed him and grooming. They were extremely accommodating with my work schedule....I absolutely love Hallett & the girls at Next Door Grooming I will never take Lambeau anywhere else....Thank you❤❤

We always have a “pack of 3” dogs, and the HALLETT docs and their staff have been with us thru thick and thin over the years. Always accessible...extremely responsive...compassionate...straight forward. From the staff that answers the phone to the vet assistants to Dr Mike and Dr Heidi, all consummate professionals. They are key to our ability to responsibly care for our pack!

In my lifetime I have had 3 dogs, probably 6 cats. This is over 50 yearsof living in 3 cities. Hallett ranks with one other wonderful clinic in another city that cared the way you do. they were and you are TOPS
