Bobbie's Airway Grill

So, I’m not sure why there were some bad reviews. They were busy and it was noisy, but that’s just the reality of a happening place. All the servers and bartenders were very accommodating, even when we were forced to stand in their way waiting for our table. Once there, the food came in a reasonable time and was delicious. We had a steak, cream corn and appetizers. All wonderful. If you want a quiet out of the way place, this in not it, but if you want great food and service in a busy restaurant, you will love this place. 4 stars on atmosphere due to a steady 85 db in the bar, better at our seat.

This was the first time my friend and I had been to Bobbie’s. I was a little nervous, as I had read some bad reviews, but the good ones sounded like a place I needed to try. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. The ambiance and decor were so pretty. We were greeted by a server who took our drink and appetizer order. We opted for the homemade biscuits, and they did not disappoint. They were flaky, crispy, warm and served with butter and orange marmalade. Our real server Hailey came and greeted us and brought our bottle of wine. She was the sweetest and so professional. She let us know about the special of the evening, and took our order. My friend ordered the crab cake, and I ordered the pork chop. Both were amazing. The crab cake was full of crab meat, no filler, and had a beurre blanc sauce that was like no other. My pork chop was cooked perfectly and was accompanied by the freshest creamed corn and silky potato purée. We finished with the brownie sundae, which had a miso caramel that will knock your socks off. Thank you Bobbie’s and Hailey for a wonderful girls night and dinner. I’ll definitely be back!

The food and service were both amazing. My friend ordered the Tuna frites and she said it was the best tuna steak she had ever had and I have to agree. The wedge salad with the tenderloin was also amazing. Will definitely be back.

Third time to Bobbie's Airway Grill and it has quickly become my favorite restaurant in I can't remember when! The ambiance is warm and cozy, energetic and hip. The food and cocktails are ON POINT. I look forward to excuses to come here. Highly recommended! PS I would have posted pics but the food goes down way too easy! But the oysters, biscuits and scallops are amazing.

Want to feel like a VIP? Eat at Bobbie’s. I stopped in on a Sunday with some time to kill, and from the way I was welcomed and wanted for nothing during my visit I would’ve never had a clue that 1) I arrived RIGHT as they opened, and 2) the restaurant itself has been open less than a year! Firstly, the restaurant itself. Have you seen a cooler building?? From the time I pulled up, i was so excited to see what waited for me inside. The ambience. Omg. Bobbie’s manages to feel warm and cozy and inviting-like you’re eating at a good friend’s house; while still being a pretty sizable and busy fine dining establishment. The lighting is soft and glowy which makes the restaurant itself so much more beautiful. The tile, the open kitchen, tasteful decor, truly there is nothing I can think to criticize. Even the restrooms are lovely. I was greeted by Jordan who is so sweet and funny and welcoming, and within the blink of an eye, Liz-who is nothing short of amazing at her job, sat me at the bar with Jared. I chose the Gold Rush, sort of like an elevated whiskey sour. No sooner had I given my order, I was gifted with the loveliest, most delicious cocktail I could have ever wanted. Jared is the best, and was super fun to talk to as well! Whattup Jared! Liz was so well versed on the menu, she knows it all. She helped me decide on the Halibut Tartare. It was refreshing, light, fresh-the perfect accompaniment to my cocktail. During my very short wait on the food, I slipped away to powder my nose and bumped into Salma, Anastasia, and Mackenna-as if i could want for a better welcome wagon, they put the icing on the cake. Every single staff member at Bobbie’s made me feel like a friend, and I was on cloud nine from beginning to end of my short visit. For dessert I asked Jared to make me the dirtiest martini he felt legally allowed, and he did that!!! I know, it’s probably sacrilege, but it’s my drink okay? And Jared more than satisfied my briny craving. For a restaurant that a) I only visited for quick stop and b) has been open for such a short time to wow me this much, I say this with conviction-WOW. Please go, I can guarantee with 100% confidence you’ll love your experience. Thank you for making me feel so special and cared for, Bobbie’s! I dream about my next visit.

The food and service was excellent. This was my partner and I first time, but we will be back. Our service did start off slow, but that quickly changed once Anna took over. She was amazing and knowledgeable of the menu. I even let her surprise me with my entree as I couldn’t choose between between the rotisserie chicken and pork chop. OH! And I can’t forget about those crispy oysters! You absolutely must try! Incredible dining experience and even better food.

Wonderful American incarnation from the crew behind il Bracco. In typical fashion, it hits on all fronts with excellent and inventive renditions of American classic salads, sandwiches, fish and steaks. Service is impeccable—engaging and friendly. The atmosphere has a airy mid-century California vibe, and is always energetic. The cocktail and wine program are also not to be missed. Perfect choice for a weekday lunch or date night dinner.

Great first impression and a wonderful addition to the neighborhood. Sunday lunch at the bar. Bartenders were friendly and skilled. The vesper and boulevardier were solid classic renditions that dangerously beckon for repeats. Technique is good and they don’t appear to cut corners. (Would prefer rye in my boulevardier however other their bourbon.)

Tri-tip beef deep sandwich was artfully presented. The giardinera is the star. A bit clumsy to eat…how do I fit this mouthful of a sandwich in that small dipping bowl? But delicious fro start to finish. Side of indulgent green beans in lemon, olives, pine nuts, and Parmesan.

Bar seating is spacious. Deep clubby color palate for dining room….one loud open space however.

Definitely worth repeat visits to delve deeper into the menu offerings.

This is where I first had the crab cake, the best crab cake ever! The fried oysters were delicious also. My sister, who is blind, visited this restaurant with me. The staff was so courteous and accommodating. What a great experience for both of us. Thanks

Place was good, had to get it to go on mothers day, had the crab cake, tuna tartare, and cream of corn. The crab cake had a bunch of meat in it and the cream sauce that came with it was delicious. I will be back!

The shredded tri tip sandwich is probably the best sandwich I've ever eaten. And I've had some darn good sandwiches, like at Lito's in Garland. The Nicoise salad had the most beautiful seared ahi tuna that I've ever seen. Highly recommend the Oaks dip. Very refreshing, salty(from the fritos), and smoky.

Probably the most impressive was the crispy oysters. They would be insulted if I said they melted in your mouth. It's almost as if they dissolve as soon as they enter your mouth, leaving only wonderful flavor, and they're so light they don't fill you up at all.

I look forward to trying the Prime Wedge salad: a wedge salad with a prime filet.

Top all this off with a fantastic wine list, both by the glass and bottle, along with wonderful cocktails and one of the best capuccinos I've had in a long while.

Don't forget the dessert. I've only had the banana split, but I want to try them all.

Pricey, but absolutely worth it for the quality of food and service. Ask for Charlie! She was great!

Beautifully designed with notable attention to detail throughout. I especially love that the eclectic traditional menu is in an upscale setting that you won’t find anywhere else in Dallas… except maybe Il bracco! Enjoyed everything from Fritos and pimiento dip to crab cake with pommes frites and even carrot cake. Cocktails always prepared with fresh mixers. So fortunate to have Bobbie’s in our neighborhood!

The cheese with Fritos is a game changer!!! I’m craving this now! The oysters…So unique and fresh. Don’t forget the buttermilk biscuits and save one for the next morning. You’ll thank me later. Try and make room for dinner and dessert. That’s a must. Seriously, I’m blown away with the variety of options, the atmosphere, and the very polite staff. Thanks for a great evening. Can’t wait to return!!!

This may be the best crab cake we’ve ever had. The carrot cake and oaks dip were delicious too.

We had the most amazing impromptu dinner tonight at Bobby’s. Impossible not to start with the nicest waitress we’ve ever had at any restaurant. Thank you Kanlyn (I hope I spelled that right) for making our night so enjoyable. The food was so great. The four of us shared the crab cake, fried oysters and the Vegetable and hummus plate. All fantastic. We shared a burger and Moroccan salad for dinner and they were awesome. Fries so good too!! All around we had a great experience. Service, food and ambiance (the booths really cool for party of four btw). Cant wait to go back! We heard the desserts incredible but didn’t have room for them tonight. Next time we may start with the carrot cake and banana split!! And then see if we have room for dinner. LMAO!!

Really wonderful meal last Friday night to include the delicious Oak dip, crab cake, and the decadent carrot cake, but the true 5star rating goes to the staff and service. The staff were the perfect harmony of warm, professional, and attentive. The topper was that I left my favorite winter hat in the booth and the staff figured out it belonged to me and ensured it was returned. THANK YOU for a great evening team Bobbie's.

When we first went for lunch, we had the Moroccan salad which was unique and delicious. Hamburger was solid. Drinks are well made.

A dinner reservation was even better. The food, drinks and dessert are incredible and Ana takes great care of us!

I love the atmosphere the most. Everybody is friendly here that we experienced. The staff is amazing, we know several servers and Sydnie waited on us and gave us amazing service. This was our first time here but will be coming back more often.

We love coming here. The service and food are fantastic. Jordan is so helpful with our reservations and we love having Anthony as our waiter. Always a great experience!
