We had a wonderful time today enjoying the beautiful grounds, complete with a vegetable garden! The trees and flowers were Beautiful!! The house was just amazing! The tour had a video to watch and a gift shop before we took the tour. It was a 5 out of Five star!! Lastly, the staff was top notch and so friendly and interactive!! We loved it and would go again and take friends for a fun day exploring our history!

Beautiful grounds, but it was such an uncomfortable experience. Recommended for historical purposes, but prepare yourself.

Ironically, we showed up on a day they were closed for an offsite event. However, one of the caretakers opened up everything and allowed us to take a self guided tour. We really enjoyed the experience, and we had the entire place to ourselves. I am very grateful to the gentlemen for opening everything and giving us insightful information about the site.

A beautiful and historic home that predates Birmingham. You start off with a 13 min. video that talks about the various owners, structural changes, and history of the home. It's a self guided tour. The home is filled to the brim with period accurate furnishings, musical instruments, clothing, and brick-a-brac. The separate kitchen and grounds were also great. The staff working on 6/22 were so kind and welcoming!!!

A beautiful historic location, lovely meal and enthusiastic staff/presenters made it easy for all of the attendees to revel in our period themed costumes and enjoy playing our parts. I missed the BYOB memo, but a lovely lady at my table shared her wine with me. The ghost tour was interesting and engaging also!

Well-maintained antebellum mansion in the West End area of Birmingham, Alabama. The museum inside is designed for a self-guided tour. A video plays in the gift shop, showing the history of the house. The grounds are georgios, particularly in the Spring. A dining/reception area is on the property as well. We had a group of about thirty-six. The staff treated us well. Our meal was very good.

This is a must see for history lovers. The property has been well taken care of. I was greeted by 2 nice and lovely workers who exhibited great love and appreciation for this property. It costs $5 to get in, but it’s well worth it.

Beautiful Antebellum Home! The building, interior & exterior and history make it a great place to visit! I look forward to returning and doing an investigation in the home! A friend and I got numerous responses using the rem-pod tonight, but we were only able to investigate approx 15 minutes because we were there for another event.

Beautiful home full of historical artifacts. The grounds are well kept and it's a gem to see. Maddie or Mattie was a delight to talk with for a while, she is a volunteer and is a beautiful soul. If you visit be sure to stop and have a chat with her.

Great experience touring Arlington House. The furnishings are very opulent and give a good idea of what life was like back then. The guides and staff were very friendly and helpful.

I really enjoyed this place. It has a lot of old furniture and details of every room typed out on a piece of paper of what each piece of furniture was used for and made of. It is kept up very well everything is taken care of. It's was a trip I will recommend to my friends and extended family. The ladies that work their are very polite and make you feel welcomed. I pray the Lord blesses them tremendously. Thank you.

This place was awesome!! Came from California but didn't realize they were closed. The staff was so incredibly nice and accommodating that they let us tour it anyways. Definitely recommend coming here and the house itself is just gorgeous
