Super 8 by Wyndham Beckley

This stay was better than expected considering it was a lower rated hotel. Super clean (moreso than others I've been to in recent years), friendly staff, convenient location and complimentary breakfast (not exactly the bacon and eggs breakfast, but fresh waffles, yogurt, great coffee etc). It's also right across the street from a great Mexican restaurant (Campestre((sp?))) and directly next to this cute beef jerky place, not to mention penty of restaurants around in walking distance.

We thought it was a decent place to stay. Rooms were clean & we didn't see any bugs. Helpful, courteous, & friendly staff.

Not sure why all the negative critical reviews. My experience was very positive on my way down from Toronto, that I stayed again on my way back up. Both stays, different rooms were basically perfect. I worked for Marriott and this was near caliber. Rooms had a small fridge, micro, tv, writing desk, & decent wall AC. Morning continental b'fast was above others; had waffle maker, newspapers. Next trip down, I will not hesitate to go at this Super 8. Many Thanks to the accommodating staff.

My favorite hotel in America.I stay here periodically when traveling to South Carolina on business.Highly recommend.

The staff was excellent, my friend has asthma and the one room available had a miner in it who smoked. They helped us out and were able to give us a better room. ive never had service like they gave us. They were very nice and generous, even the cleaning crew was very well mannered. Will definately stay here again if i come back to WV.

Let me first start by saying - I am in Beckley 2 days a week, EVERY WEEK.
I have different experiences at each hotel. Microtel was the WORST. But this super 8 - this was the #1 experience I've had thus far. I've stayed at an $130 per night hotel in the area and the FREE breakfast at this super 8 was exactly the same. But, the super 8 was cleaner, cheaper and exactly what I needed. The bathrooms are nice and look newly renovated, the AC in the room was ice cold. The sheets were spotless & the floor was clean. When I called in at 9pm for a late check-in, management was very nice & informative, and when I needed a few more towels at 10pm I got them stright away.
Only two cons about the whole stay.
1. The blankets are really thin, ( also not the staffs fault) ( still comfortable)
2. The waffle maker needs to have non-stick spray available.
I'll be staying here again and will update my experience as I go.

The hotel is close to the I-77 exit. There is a lobby to access the rooms, rather than exterior doors outside. The room was clean, and the beds are super comfortable! I had one of the best night sleeps of my life. The continental breakfast includes waffles, coffee, apple juice and OJ, fresh fruit, pastries, yogurt, and cereal. There's something for everyone. Front desk person was always friendly and available. I'll definitely look for a Super 8 now whenever I travel. I've stayed at 5 star hotels with a lot less than what was standard here.

Was so nice having my puppy dog 🐕 🐾 ❤ Staff gave me what I needed and were extra friendly.Location was great!!!!!

When I come through Beckley this will be where I spend the night. The room was clean and most importantly the bed was sooooo comfortable. Also, Ken who was working the front desk is very nice. He is the kind of of person for a customer service position. He was very helpful and what a great personality. Thank you to Ken who ended my stay with a big smile.

Very nice staff, very easy check in, they accept dogs, the room was clean, and the best part is it is fairly cheap and it includes hot breakfast! Totally recommend! Will be back again if we travel through West Virginia! :)

Stayed one night on the way back from Florida. Nice front desk staff, very quick check in, room was nice and affordable, breakfast was yummy with the make-your-own-waffles and selection of cereal and other foods. Perfect for what we needed along our trip. Will stay here again on future trips.

The man at the front desk was kind and got us checked in quickly and with ease. The room is clean.

The staff here was awesome and friendly and the room was nice and clean.

This is an older motel. But for the price it's nice. The furniture is a little outdated but over all it is nice. This place IS NOT nasty and the staff is nice. It's not a 5 star motel but it is clean and my fiancee and I was content for the price we payed. Also the breakfast is great waffels,ceral,toast,fruit,yogurt. It's very nice.

My husband and I stayed at Super8 while traveling thru West Virginia as soon as we walked in we was greeted by the guy at the front desk check in was very fast and professional.The place looked and smelled like new as I found out they are remodeling looks very nice. The rooms are very clean and nice housekeeping takes a lot of pride in their work. Breakfast was well stocked with a different variety to choose from I would definitely recommend Super8 Motel on Harper Rd to anyone traveling thru West Virginia

Exactly what I want in a room. Great price. Ample parking. Well lit room. Great staff. All the conveniences of a more expensive motel without the expensive cost. I will definitely be using it more often!

Rooms were clean, staff was very friendly. Ken is the man, and will have breakfast ready when you wake up. Thank you Ken for making our stay pleasant.

Clean, fair price and convenient to local restaurants. Had a nice chat with the owners and found them pleasant. Had a small issue with the room which was resolved immediately with apologies. That is very appreciated.

Great hotel. Very affordable. When leaving I was carrying some small Christmas presents and dropped one without knowing it. Got in the car and was adjusting the thermostat when the gentleman working was by our door with package. Will stay here again.

This place is clean and the staff is very tuned to service here. My bed gets made daily and fresh towels and wash cloths every day as well, as it should be.
The price by the week is $30.00 cheaper than where I was staying at the Rodeway Inn.
Well worth switching hotels. Pipeliners ARE WELCOMED here.
