Nice casual soul food Restaraunt. Very friendly and accommodating. The Greens, yams, and Mac and cheese were all soooo good!!! My family enjoyed themselves. Next time, Im in Birmingham area, I will definitely be stopping by!

Great food great service!! A little less than $8 on a fish and fry plate. The pilot up the street wants $7.50 for 2 pc of pizza or almost $9 for just a half chicken. As a truck driver who rarely gets home cookin Ruth's Cafe is your best best for awesome food and great prices!!! Long as they stay here w these prices...they gonna kill they competition!!! Thank yall!!!

I am giving RUTH’s Cafe their roses because they deserve all 12 in that dozen.. ohhh honey they feed my soul!! In every bite… yessss Now I was shocked because I was being bougie .. but let me tell you their food is delicious and hit every spot cooked just right. Non greasy . This my new soul food spot!!

Everything here was horrible. It was not good. That was my first and last time here. Everyone was very nice and welcoming. But the food was awful. Sorry to give it this rating.

I drove 1hr to this place & it won’t be my last drive. The food was so amazing. I had hamburger steak with gravy over rice, cabbage, & yams. I have to add the portions are a fair amount as well not to mention I decided to order a to go plate too. The workers & the regular customers were very friendly.

I usually go on Sunday. Sometimes during the week if I have extra time. Usually there's a long line of people waiting for the door's to open. The seating area is small so I get mines to go. The Owner & all of the employees are very nice & patience with the customers. Soul food at a great price keeps me coming back for more!

Stopped in for breakfast on a Saturday. Not much to look at, but the best places are often like that. And make no mistake, this was one of those 'best places'. Our 2-year old loved his pancakes; my wife and I loved our grits and sausage plate. Will definitely make it a point to come again next time we are in town around breakfast time.

The Fish and Cheese grits was delicious. And the food was nice and hot. I love Black Owned Business and the people was nice and friendly. I think the Black Queen who worked the cash register was beautiful and had a lovely 😃.

Took a little run from the truck stop to get food. It was worth the exercise. Grabbed 2 plates Baked chicken with cabbage and rice/gravy and meatloaf with mash and green beans. Extra side of yams. Cornbread came with both plates but you can get rolls if that's your thing. All I can say is I was not disappointed at all. I had to stop myself from eating both plates. I have this place saved on my maps and been trying to make it back. Always miss the closing time by about 30 minutes. Anyway check it out. Good food and flavor. Can't miss with Ruth's.

I had a 3 meat omelette and my buddy Josh had a burrito, we were both very happy. Super nice folks both working and customer wise. Having an English accent kicks off some conversation and i’m here for it. I’ll be back 😀 thank you and see you soon!

Had to return our moving truck near here and decided to try it out. I'm glad we did. Everyone was friendly, and food tastes amazing. If we're ever in the area we're definitely coming back

I LOVED the atmosphere in this restaurant from the second I walked in, Gospel music was blaring, people were friendly, customer service was awesome, the food was GREAT!!!! I ordered the Oxtail and loved it. Best of Blessings to this Restaurant, may God continue to bless you all!!!

The World Games and there’s non-stop work to do, so the COB catered breakfast, lunch and dinner for one division. The absolute winner for my week was Ruth’s. The workers were friendly and the food was fabulous! It was Sunday dinner on a Tuesday! Thanks Ruth’s!!
