Upon arriving at the motel, I was greeted by a friendly receptionist at the front desk. They quickly checked me in and provided me with a room key. The lobby was clean and well-lit, with comfortable seating areas for guests.

As I entered my room, I was pleasantly surprised by its cleanliness and modern decor. The room was spacious and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed, a desk and chair for work, and a cozy seating area. The lighting was adjustable, allowing me to create a relaxing atmosphere.

The bathroom was spotless and stocked with fresh towels and toiletries. The shower had good water pressure and temperature control, making for a refreshing experience after a long day of travel. The complimentary toiletries were of high quality and included shampoo, conditioner, soap,
The room was equipped with various amenities to ensure a comfortable stay. There was a flat-screen television with a wide range of channels, including premium movie channels. The air conditioning unit worked efficiently, allowing me to set the temperature to my preference.
The motel had a dedicated Wi-Fi network for guests, and the internet connection was fast and reliable. This was especially important to me as I needed to stay connected for work purposes. I was able to complete my tasks without any connectivity issues.
In terms of security, the motel had a well-lit parking lot with surveillance cameras, providing a sense of safety for guests. Additionally, the room had a secure electronic lock, and I felt at ease knowing that only authorized individuals could access the premises.

The room was very clean. I enjoyed the amenities. There was a tv and mini fridge available, and I liked the setup of the room. The door to the bathroom didn't close all the way, but it was no issue for me. Nice clean room for a low price. Breakfast was very limited, however. I wonder if that had to do with the pandemic. It was a nice stay, though.

Husband and I stayed here for one night because he was having surgery at UAB the next morning. We had no issues whatsoever. The room and beds were clean.

For context, what I'm looking for in a hotel/motel is a clean room with reasonable amenities and everything functioning as expected. That's exactly what I got. I had absolutely no issues, the rooms are newly updated, everything functioned properly (i.e. bathroom, air conditioner, TV, etc.). If you're someone who is relatively low maintenance like me, this is a great spot. Sure, there are construction and train sounds nearby that take place during the day, but I wasn't in the room during the day, so this was not a problem.

I'm so thankful I didn't read the reviews before we got here. The place is nice very clean,and quit at night! Breakfast was out at 7am when we went down. Coffee was fresh,orange juice,milk whole and 2%,muffins,pancakes,toast and cereal 2 types. Thank you for having a nice place

Last minute booking. Great price, big, clean room, comfortable bed.
Only drawback might be that there wasn't an actual dresser. Since we just needed a place to sleep that wasn't that big of a deal.

I've been coming here for years it's my home away from home. Respectful staff clean rooms. Good breakfast as well.

This was a great hotel! My favorite hotel ever! So many good things to say I don't know where to begin. There was a TV and it worked well, although I never turned it on. It was flat screen which is really good for the price of the room. There was a really good blow dryer. It was so hot I almost burnt my hair but it dried so fast. Wow. The bed sheets were so comfortable, I slept like a baby after a handle of Jimmy. Oh and not mention the prime location. It doesn't get better than this! I didn't see any bugs and don't understand why the reviews are so negative.

First time staying in Alabama, coming from a third world country and all I have to say is just WOW! I was impressed! Every night I stayed here it got better and better and better. First off, the staff was so friendly and welcoming, it deffinetly reminded me of home (Djibouti). Second, there was electricity in the room which made very easy to find the bathroom at night. The bathroom was awesome! It actually had a real stand up toilet seat that flushed, instead of the usual hole in the ground. That truly made my day! The bathroom was also newly renovated and had nice hot water. My family even brought a small hand vacuum, which we didn't even have to use because the staff cleaned up everything after us. The bed was so comfortable and big, I even could have brought my dog, too. Overall I rate this hotel and staff 13 out of 10. It exceeded all expectations. Thank you "shukraan"

A hidden gem! I feel I jipped the lovely management and staff, I wish I could have given them more money for all we got. The lovely gent running the show even let me borrow their scissors from behind the front desk when I needed them. They were very sharp and worked well. I was able to cut everything super great. But let me gush a bit about the room... the shower had both hot and cold. I sanitized myself very thoroughly. We all did. There were enough pillows so everyone got one, which made it really perfect for sleeping. The coolest part, you may wonder? The toilet! Flushed everything in a counterclockwise direction, pretty neat. I felt like I was in Australia, not Alabama. YOU SHOULD DEFINITELY BOOK THIS HOTEL.

I relocated to B-ham and am staying here for a few weeks until I find a house. Chris at the front desk was extremely courteous & helpful. The room is clean, with comfortable beds and accommodating with plenty of closet space & a nice desk area. They allow pets, have smoking rooms available & are close to the Interstate. This is a great hotel at an affordable price. I highly recommend it!

This was my first time staying here and every time it do I gets better and better!! I got to sleep on the floor and I must say it was fantastic. It was firm and very level just how I like it. I was pretty excited after reading about the bugs, I love bugs and though it'd get to have a little bug party down there on the floor. Alas, there were none. My fav part was the window above the sink near the bathroom. Every time I needed to use the sink this really handsome man stood there with me to keep me company. It was really nice because sometimes I get lonely when I brush my teeth. He even played a game with me where he copied my movements, what a guy!

Staff was very courteous, room was clean and neat, bed was comfortable, air conditioning was excellent, nice water pressure in the shower, remove the drain plug or water will build up in the tub, no problem when plug removed, the dorm size refrigerator was perfect, stayed there two nights, on second night I returned after dark, I was so delighted when I noticed the lights were on, and bed made, fresh towels, room was clean as a whistle, I highly recommend this Days Inn, I would stay there again anytime. My one complaint, getting to the hotel was a little confusing from route 20 the first time, study the map, Google maps is a little confusing too, when you get off 20 to Arkadelphia Rd, take a left just past the two gas stations, Chevron and a Marathon, 12th Ave W, then an immediate left 9th St W, Days Inn will be in front of you.

Front desk staff was friendly. Breakfast was delicious.Clean rooms.

Stayed here for 5 days for the NJFL & NFL National Competition. Hotel is clean and staff are awesome. Because of our competition schedule, our team would have to leave early and I, as a coach could not sit down and enjoy the breakfast buffet, so I would have to grab my breakfast from the buffet which the staff did not mind. Extra towels were provided when I asked and housekeeping made sure my bed was made and coffee was always available. It was a very pleasureable stay and I do recommend you give this hotel a shot! ~Johanne Wolf

very good hotel for the price. clean and remodeled.

Well let's start off by saying it was a wonderful experience. I would have to say it was one of the best places I have stayed. The tv was a flat screen and has HDMI and VGA hookup. It was about 40 inches and also had a wireless remote. It had all the regular channels plus some that are hard to get and are actually really really cool. The tv itself weighed about 20 pounds which is relatively light for one of its size. It was light enough to move around and could even be considered "portable" in certain circumstances. It powered up quickly and had 1080dpi resolution. It was dark (almost solid black) when it was off. This was great for sleeping , I would turn it all the way off before going to sleep. Every time I stay here it get better and better. Last time there was 167 channels and this time it has 188 channels. I would highly recommend this place.
