The Westin Birmingham

Stayed here because we were seeing a concert at the BJCC. When we arrived it was about half an hour before the concert. Traffic was chaotic and people were everywhere. I forgot my phone in the car when we had the driver park it. Leaving the next morning was much calmer. I did ask about room service and they told me they do not offer it. I thought a premium hotel would offer premium services. It was still an outstanding room and beautiful hotel.

Wanted to add one more detail; give a big shout out to Morgan (Server at breakfast). She’s a trooper and good ambassador for the brand! Keep up the good work Sis you are appreciated!

Room was clean. Had water bottle in fridge waiting on me, which was nice!

It was great people watching from my room, as I could see the stadium.

My room was nice and clean plenty of towels and a short walk from the parking garage.

Does need updates, our shower drain was broken & I could not plug it to bathe my toddler.
I do love the area. Plenty of yummy walkable food options, great coffee shops & cute bars. Dog park with connected Tesla chargers 1 block down as well.
Always been clean the last 3 times we have stayed there. Kinda odd how they don’t have regular fitted sheets?... The bed was well used tho this last time with an uncomfortable dip.

The Westin is the best brand of BONVOY. I always enjoy my stay at the Westin. The food is great. I had breakfast yesterday and the food was tasty and the service was excellent. The hotel was well maintained and very well organized. The room was perfect. Thank y’all

The service was superbly southern, kind and helpful. We arrived five hours before check-in on a very busy conference weekend and they were able to still get us sorted (my biggest stress was having to park far away on the street and then have to fetch the car to check in at the appropriate time). They checked us in early and had space reserved for guests at the garage. When I got to the parking garage I was told it was full, but when I showed my Westin parking passed, they waved me in. My only complaint was the nearby stadium that plays music so loud it shakes the windows (only a problem if you have a room on the west side). Fortunately the event there did not extend into the evening and we had a wonderfully quiet night.

Pricey but nice location, easy access to event center. Courteous staff, clean comfy room.

This hotel is incredible. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. The entire facility is top shelf, but the people make the real difference. Everyone is kind, patient, and professional. They even have notes posted on the phones to remind the employees how to interact with guests and it's brilliant!

I went here earlier this year for Kami con and it was very nice! The rooms were clean and modern, and the staff was very kind and professional. It also connects to the BJCC, which is nice, so getting to the convention center is rather effortless.

Little pricy considering it looks like every other hotel so location is what you're paying for for sure. Other than that is was great. Staff was nice and accommodating. The building and rooms were clean and valet was actually very fast considering how busy they would get. Very cool town. We can't wait to go back

Great location rooms a little dated for the cost. Several people in my group had to switch rooms due to lock and electricity issues

We stayed here for three days, two nights and loved the experience. Great location with lots of close places to visit. We were within walking distance of several amenities (museum of art, civil rights museum, top golf). Natassja was amazing at her job of customer service. She helped us twice when we needed help and was so accommodating. She needs a raise!!

This rating is for the engineer who came to my room and fixed my shower at 1215am on April 26th. I was really sad that it wasn't working after a long day, and he was so kind to me and so apologetic and fixed it in 2 seconds. Thank you for making me feel better, sir.

Wish I could give this more stars. The location was surrounded by plenty of restaurants and activities. The hotel itself was clean , comfortable beds, great shower , heated pool and hot tub. The rooms were stocked with plenty amenities and what wasn't in the room I was able to find downstairs or the front desk was happy to find it for me. The main thing was the customer service they took hospitality to a whole new level. All the way from valet, front desk , the shuttle driver to house keeping. We had to come to Birmingham so my husband could have surgery. It was late at night and we needed medical supplies to redress his wound. The desk clerk and the shuttle driver searched for the items I needed and when they didn't have them they took me to Walgreen's even though it's not a normal service they offer they didn't want to have me walk into a bad neighborhood to get these items and because of the circumstances. I've traveled a lot and stayed at many hotels and have never had such great service. This is just one example of their great treatment. Anything I asked for they helped me with a smile. Sadly thats something very rare anymore. They have my business for life. Anytime I come back to Birmingham you bet this is where I'll stay.

The room and restaurant were both nice. But, I really loved the convenience of being next to Uptown. You just walk out the front door or the parking garage and you have a wide range of restaurants to choose.

5 minute walk to BJCC. Great service and friendly staff. Also received free coupon for their breakfast buffet that served from 6 till 12:30. Bacon eggs sausage, French toast and oatmeal and grits. Also large selection of fruits, and cereals. Only thing missing was biscuits and gravy. Very impressed.

Excellent all around service from the valet to the front desk agent. We stopped in for a overnight stay heading back to the DFW area. Ran into Manny Fresh upon checking in and was greeted with a smile and a compliment of my shirt. #StayWoke
I did not get the valet name that was working the night we checked in Sunday June 20th around 8pm but he was super super professional and friendly. When I think of excellence in service he embodies that. The rooms where really nice and clean the bed was so comfortable and we loved the big shower. The location has several restaurants to choose from. Overall I give the staff and hotel a 5 star. Not only did they make us feel like VIP’s the smiles on everyone’s face that we came in contact with was contagious. Thank you to the staff for making our stay super fantastic.
