Sheraton Birmingham Hotel

My company had their leadership conference here. Big place very easy to get lost in but everyone is helpful. The event we had event host, caterers and bartenders were great. John P helped everyone answered questions and was very very pleasant. For the evening events and breakfast Benny was just a joy to be around nice smiling face. Then Ms Pamela was always there every day with a big smile on her face willing to help everyone. If anyone had a big event to plan here they have the space and a caring team to make the event go well!

Parked in the parking deck behind the SEC office. Got turned around looking for my car and ended up on the 17th floor of the hotel. I found my car eventually. Nice hotel - it smells like one of my daughters.

Jr Executive Suites are great for small meetings in your room. Do not recommend external rooms facing interstate due to noise level if you are light sleeper. Great location for conferences. Valet prices increased this year. Guest Services rings to off-site. Go to front desk if you need assistance.

Well I work there as a housekee. So far so good. You will not find a hotel that pays well, weekly, feeds great lunches, and get your 40. Now, this job is not for the lazy...just know that

During a brief stopover on my way to Tuscaloosa, where I was enrolled at the University of Alabama, I had the pleasure of staying at the Sheraton Birmingham Hotel for a night. The experience was nothing short of exceptional. The hotel's modern amenities and attentive service ensured a comfortable and relaxing stay. The well-appointed rooms and convenient location made it a perfect choice for a restful night. However, a minor issue was the occasional noise from the highway nearby, as loud cars passed by. Despite this, the Sheraton Birmingham Hotel's rooms comfort, breakfast and the city's attractions made it an ideal option for travelers passing through or those exploring the vibrant city of Birmingham.

This hotel is in an amazing location! Restaurants and bars in walking distance. Staff was super friendly and the hotel was very clean.

We stayed here with our high school basketball team for a local showcase. The staff was fantastic, personable and showed us great hospitality. I would highly recommend this location to everyone who plans to visit the area

My family arrived earlier than anticipated. While one of the rooms was not available, the associate found an acceptable room near it so that we could be together. Everyone was helpful, from valet greetings to checkout. The bar was well-stocked, and dining at the restaurant was good, once we found it. Doing so was confusing since it moved to the Westin next door. The rooms were well appointed, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was good but could have had higher quality meat and potatoes.

Very nice hotel, actually had more than 2 towels in the room. Beds were a little hard, but with 4 pillows on each bed, you can make you own pillow top bed. Very nice and clean. Had a noise maker in the room for those who sleep with a fan on.

This was a very nice stay. From the moment that I pulled up, the valets were polite, helpful, and very knowledgeable about the area. Sultan welcomed us as rewards members. The breakfast staff was nice, although the food could have been a little better. The only complaint is the highway noise in the rooms. I'm a light sleeper, so that was tough for me. They need to install sound proof windows.

Room was clean. Staff members were friendly and very helpful. We were in town with a large convention, but the staff were all polite even through the hectic hours of checking everyone in. Beds were so comfy! Location was great - close to plenty of dining options and it was a clean area of the city. Felt safe. Highway is really close and was a bit noisy, but the room had a white noise machine that helped tremendously.

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel 6/2/23-6/5/23. The staff was a pleasure and they went ABOVE and BEYOND to ensure my family and I were comfortable and well taken care of. From the moment we walked into the hotel until the moment we checked out. There was a hiccup on my end during check-in BUT the staff member on duty calmed me down and told me she’d walk me through the proper steps to resolve the issue, it was late and she could tell I was tired after driving 10 hours. The staff had no idea I was in town attending my grandfathers funeral but the grace they showed me will stick with me FOREVER! It also reminds me to be kind unto others, for you truly never know what someone is going through. #showgrace 💜

Love this property. The rooms are great and the staff go out of their way to make sure your comfortable and you enjoy your stay.

Stayed here for March Madness in March 2023. Highly recommend!!! Beds were very comfortable, rooms were clean and staff was very nice. Only suggestion would be to have more than 1 staff member checking guests in/out at front desk. 5+****

A fantastic Marriott property with almost every amenity. The rooms are very spacious, recently updated, very comfortable, and well laid out. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The only thing missing from this property is the usual Bonvoy convenience store. The hotel's location is perfect for dining, various entertainment, and shopping. I'll definitely be staying here every time that I'm in Birmingham.

I don’t know how to rate the experience. I don’t normally stay in “high end” hotels so didn’t understand the situation and and outs of valet/no valet. The room was nice. Shower was hot. Glad we stayed, but it was pretty stressful! How much are you supposed to tip valets? It was too mu h for me to comprehend. However, I did enjoy it.

Location is within walking distance of the Museum of Art and Civil Rights Institute

We enjoyed our stay, this hotel is older but very well kept. Classy. Our large room was well furnished, nice, quiet & very clean.. I am particular about that! The bed was comfortable. Great location downtown, our room had an interesting view overlooking the BJCC. The lobby is nice, huge, staff was very polite, respectful, & helpful. The valet service was great, we felt our car was safe there. Loved that they didn't rush us out at checkout! They actually gave us an extra hour & half at no charge. Highly recommend.

The hotel convention conference rooms were very comfortable for various workshops and training sessions.
