Jefferson County Sewer Info

One rep was Vida and I wish I knew the name of the lady that answered the phone. Both were VERY helpful and pleasant to speak with. WELL DONE LADIES!

Rates our absurd. It’s corruption from our city leaders. Years of it. I’m actually considering moving because of my water bill. And the biggest part of it is sewer. Disgusted.

Not once in over 2 1/2 years have I received a bill. Every time I speak to someone, they simply say, well, we mailed it. Must be a problem with your post office. Once the representative said, oh yes, we get a lot of complaints about people not receiving their bills in the mail. Clearly they are not mailing bills and do not care.

I've been staying at my residence for two years and never received one sewer bill being new to the area and not knowing the sewer bill was separate and because when I applied for Water in Irondale everything was closed due too Covid- 19 so this is why I didn't know the bill was separate so 6 months later I received a letter that I was going to be shut off. They waited 6 months mind you and still till this day I still haven't received a bill and they claim they can't generate one. So I don't know what my bill is for my sewer. What am I to do?

I think someone is stealing again because I have received 4 bills within 8 days and my last bill before this was sent out in October. That bill was ridiculously HIGH considering that it is only a one year old and myself in the house. BWWB what is going on I need answers.

This is the biggest crock of sh**, pun completely appropriate. The county commission, in league with its coterie of deep-pocketed bribesmen, city officials, and inept planners, will take any and all opportunities to bleed us dry and charge us for our own blood. This is a scam and an outrage to pay essentially two water bills in a county that still cannot effectively plan for a drought or provide reasonable sanitation for its citizens. Mention This when you pay your sewer bill, and you're told that you elected the county commission. We most certainly did not elect the financiers and contractors who cozied up to these slime balls.

So you handle sewers but apparently not when they are flooding and spilling into the streets of downtown Birmingham. You lot are pathetic and calling you lazy would be a huge understatement... Thanks for nothing

Water pours out the sewer outlet. In Centra park on 47th and court S.This entire area is patched and repatched. Why do we pay a sewer bill each month. Should be rated less than 1star. This area has had running up out the street for over a year.

They finally accept online payments, but I'm still billed on wildly different days each month. I'm not sure what day to pick for my automatic payments when there's so much variation. It's a step in the right direction, but it's still a more frustrating experience than it should be.

The rates are ridiculously high. The city floods more than my spam inbox and yet we are stuck with an astronomical amout to pay. Make it make sense Jefferson County Alabama.

Charged 4 times the amount of my "regular" bill from my old apartment 2 months after moving....someone's stealing!!!

Outside of being the highest sewer rates in the country, the extremely outdated online system, the known history of corrupt individuals. I wish there was less than one star for how they run their overall business processes.

Thief's!!!!!!!!!! They charge way too much and you can't really do anything about it!!!! We need to gather and file a lawsuit!!!!!
