Wow. Someone told me about this place. And I am so glad I checked it out. Them pork ribs were so tender!!!

I had been told this place had the best breakfast in town but despite having been here for 8 years and only living an hour away previously, I had never been. We went for breakfast and were able to get a booth immediately. It took a little bit of time to decide what we wanted to get not because the menu was so daunting but because EVERYTHING sounded good. We finally ordered 2 plates. First was with eggs, grits, bacon and toast. The second was with eggs, rice, smoked sausage and biscuits. We also had a pancake to split. It was all great. The usual expectation was that we would need to put some salt in the grits and rice and we had to do that but it's understandable knowing it's smarter to let some foods be seasoned by each customer. Everything else was great. The biscuits weren't heavy, the meats were cooked well and everything was well worth it. This place truly lived up to the expectations. Thus was a great experience. The waitress, Melissa was also great and the price of these meals was amazing. This is easily one of the best places for breakfast in Birmingham and I will definitely be frequenting this

I love eating the breakfast here. The staff is always nice and courteous. I always come to Fife’s when I’m downtown in the morning to get the good breakfast. Such a good establishment. Wish more places like this existed.

The phone stayed busy so I wasn't able to call in my order but I was able to get in and out in under 20min. Croquette with grits and scrambled eggs hard and an order of chicken wings. Not pictured was the side of bacon that didn't make it home because we were hungry. Plate was large enough to share.

I remembered visiting years ago and made sure Fife's was the first stop from the airport! Friendly and attentive service. Great southern cooking! Heaping portions! Recommend especially if you have plans to be in the Downtown Birmingham area! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

One of the greatest breakfasts' I have ever tasted. I have now been there twice and had yet to disappoint.
I had an omelette, toast, and bacon and it left me full nearly all day.
Servers are great, they don't leave you waiting a long time before they come around again . They ask if you want refills or a to go cup for the road, if you are checking out.
This joint is a must try once.

Breakfast was great! The restaurant was clean and everyone was friendly! But, it is more of a traditional diner, so don't expect super fast service, but it was worth the wait.

It’s been so long since I’ve been to Fife’s for breakfast and that’s a mistake! The food was delicious and the serving size was so generous! The ham was so tender and juicy!

The service was really nice. There was one lady serving the entire restaurant but she did a really great job. The food was really good. I had grits with turkey and scramble eggs and homemade biscuits. Very 😋

My parents used to go eat here when my brother was in the Children's Hospital. I would never eat the food they served just take in from someone else. This past Saturday, I goggled best places to eat Fife's was in the top five. Never hadn't eaten here and it was my dad's birthday was something I needed to do in memory of my father, mother, and brother who's no longer here. We enjoyed EVERYTHING we ordered. Not to mention, order some food to go. My only regret was never sharing this moment of good food with my family when they died here. Thank you for still serving the community!!!!

Stopped in on today which this was my second time coming here, everyone was very pleasant and nice. I will definitely be back again!!

Wonderful food, as always, got 2 egg breakfast with beef sausage, rice, and toast for $9. Everyone else prices has gone up dramatically, but they have been pretty good

Great food. Excellent service. I had beef stew, although it looked and tasted more like roast and potatoes. It was delicious. Only complaint was cornbread muffin was hard and not hot.

Today was my first Fife’s experience. I can assure you that it won’t be my last. If you love true home cooking, this will put a smile on your face. Arrive hungry because the portions are plentiful. I cannot wait to return!
