What an amazing experience. Flat bread was absolutely phenomenal. The pizza was just like how I’ve had in Italy with authentic ingredients. Tiramisu was good as well! Absolutely love this place. Server was extremely busy so I get it if there are some complaints of slow service, but we had a great time here.

Excellent Lunch today at Bettolla. Parker was an awesome server! I ordered the chicken pesto pizza and my cousin ordered the Quattro formaggio (additional sausage)— the pasta was D E L I C I O U S
Some of the best pasta I have had in a while. I will definitely be re-visiting! The weather was so nice, we opted to sit outside on the cute patio. However, taking in the interior it is hip, modern, urban and romantic.

An absolute gem in Birmingham! The food was amazing! They make a lot of their own ingredients like the house made pork sausage they use in the carbonara. The place is a really nice venue dressed up or down! Tons of parking right in front of the restaurant.

We love this restaurant. The pizza tast amazing, the lasagna can I also highly recommended. everything was very tasty. Friendly staff. Unfortunately it is very loud, which affects the ambience somewhat. We will definitely come back.

If you can only eat at one restaurant in Birmingham, eat here! We did, and it was the best choice! Service was great. All the staff were friendly and helpful, from the hosts Marco and Robbie to our server Laura to the manager Noah. The food was fresh, delicious and of high quality. Considering the quality of the food, it is reasonably priced. We came for our 10th anniversary and they made it special. We plan on returning next time we drive through Birmingham because it was that good! Thanks to Noah and the wonderful team.

Wonderful atmosphere, the bartender was super attentive and a delight to talk to. The calamari was super delicious, and the pizza was great, a must the next time I'm in B-Ham! Although I may have left my backpack... another sign of a good time, people don't leave things unless they plan to return! And I do! GET THE CALAMARI!!!

Had great meal, the pasta was great and we added sausage to the meals was the perfect addition for flavor. The Burrata was amazing with the homemade bread. I do wish dish special were open at lunch and bit of variety with the menu. Overall everything was tasty and service was great.

Maria has been out server the past few times we've made it in to Bettola. Every single time we go, burratta is a must order. we try one of their seasonal dishes at least and follow it up with tiramisu and espresso. It's so good I even take a Funghi Di Bosco to go for lunch and dinner the next day!

Upscale Italian place which is absolutely stunning for a date night. We stopped by for dinner in a weekend night. The place was fully packed. However, it was late around 9ish in night. So we did not have to wait. There is a bar section with nice selection of wine and stuff. The atmosphere and the interior is impressive. We ordered a calamari for starter which was good. For the main course we ordered three different pizzas to share between four of us. I think that was just perfect as a quantity. The fire oven baked pizzas was just perfect with very nice and fresh quality of ingredients. In this context, let me warn you, you won’t get anything with chicken! We had a friend of us, who eats only chicken. And she had to end up eating a vegetarian pizza. Anyways, the pizzas are impressive. But the show stopper would be the desserts. We ordered a tiramisu and another chocolate something. Both of them were absolute yum. The dessert sizes are perfect for sharing. Overall pretty impressive place.

Showed up without reservations and the place was packed but the service was excellent. They let my wife and I sit and eat at the chef's table. The food was outstanding and our waitress was too. Definitely recommend if you're in town.

Closest thing I have found to an European (dare I say Italian?) restaurant in B'ham.
The pizza dough bread for the Buratta was superb and the stracciatella, served heated as a sauce, was creamy, slightly acidic and the first time that I had it outside Italy.
The pizza was cheesy-salty (Asiago?), packed with flavor, densely packed with mushrooms, but the truffle oil was too strong taking the center stage instead of helping the wild mushrooms to shine. The soft egg in the center was a nice surprise that is hard to find in an American Pizzaria. I could have been completely happy but the dough seemed undercooked in the center.
The Einbecker Urbock was such a nice surprise that the waitress brought a bottle to the table to alleviate my doubtful tone.

We had a 20 min wait and decided to walk over to Hop City for a fun beer but with 3 samples and some discussion the text from Bettola had to remind us that the table was ready. Bham has now entertainment districts and I asked for to go cups and arriving at Bettola the host was not so sure about our beers but waived us through. Water came in seconds and a lively waitress in a few minutes. A happy, slightly noisy place with down to earth atmosphere and bigger portions than we expected.

I have consistently had wonderful dinning experiences here. The pasta dishes never disappoint and the snapper special is absolutely something to write home about! Also be sure to get the burrata appetizer.

We showed up on a windy Thursday evening without a reservation, but we were seated outside (our preference) right away. We got the burrata appetizer, which all enjoyed. The bread was wonderful. For entrees, we had two pizzas - the Margherita and Mascarpone e Prosciutto, and the Buccatini Carbonara. Everything was great, but the Carbonara was everyone's favorite. That freshly made pasta was absolutely perfect and the flavors were decadent. The space is lovely and service was excellent. We'll absolutely be back.

Amazing spot downtown! Overall it has an amazing vibe right in the heart of Pepper Place. The burrata is a MUST. We got the pizza and the bolognese - both great! The owner James is the real deal. Great spot!

Delicious house made pasta and spicy meat. I ate every bite. My brother in law said the prosciutto pizza he had was the best pizza he ate in years.

One of the best pizzas in the South (and possibly east, north and west)!

For their dough they use a flour only found in a particular small area in Italy - and it tastes like it. I challenge you to find a better crust anywhere.

The additional toppings are world class as well and the sauce (all of them) are perfectly paired with the ingredients.

Order a whole pie for yourself, don't split it with anyone because you will only want more.

Highly recommend. Everything was delicious from the appetizer, pizza, and wine. Gorgeous restaurant setting and you can watch the cooks make your food or sit at the bar. Great atmosphere and perfect location in pepper place.

Loved it. Its a little pricey for what you may think of for Italian, but it's the ingredients, the process!! Hand made pasta and sauces, unique apps and cocktails. All sourced fresh. And the best service ever. Ask for Gabbie!!
