VIDEO GAME X-CHANGE

Stopped in today to sell some games/consoles after having an awful experience at Gamestop (the person looked like they couldn't be more miserable and that my trade-in was the hardest thing they've ever done). What a breath of fresh air! These guys clearly love video games, they gave me excellent value for my trade-ins and I will absolutely be back and recommend you to friends. Anyone in the area, go here and not GameStop.

Always enjoy popping into here when coming into town. Nice variety for everyone based on what they are looking for including retro games to vinyl. The owner is also rather nice, so check it out!

I love the selection here. We moved to Wisconsin a year ago and I've been looking for a good local game store with a good selection of new and classic games. The only down side is that I live an hour away. Grabbed a couple vinyl (they also sell records!) and a few loose Genesis carts on this trip. Definitely coming back.

Owner is super chill and really cares about keeping his store interesting. Only place I've seen such a huge collection of sealed nintendo games and consoles.

He just started selling vinyl now too and had a really impressive collection. Most I've ever spent on vinyl before.

Wonderful selection of records here which I did not expect. Great selection of everything video games, VHS tapes, records, DVDs and you name it. Extremely friendly help behind the counter here as well. Definitely making a trip to come back.

I've always loved this store even back when it was at its original address on Atwood ave. Lance knows his stuff about anything I've ever had a question about. As long as his store is around it will be my first stop for whatever im looking for

As a collector I can boldly say this is the best video game shop I've been to in forever, great games at great prices and an amazing guy to chill and converse with. Highly recommend this shop to everyone!

I miss the one that was on the West side years ago, so glad this one is still open after all these years! I never feel cheated out of whatever I sell to them, and I always find something to buy there!

Best retro game store I've been to in Madison. I've been going to Pre-play on the west side since it's near where I live but I make the trek to the east side since this store is so much better. The prices are fair and even better when I pay with cash. The atmosphere is great and the owner is friendly. They also regularly get new stock so there is always something to check out.

This place is absolutely awesome... like taking a trip back to your childhood, nostalgic feel. They have all kinds of music and video game memorabilia. They offer support and parts for even the oldest consoles. I called around many other stores looking for OG Xbox stuff and they kind of laughed me off. This place had everything for it, on hand. Definitely will be back. A+ service and experience.

Amazing store, I brought about a hundred Nintendo power magazines, game boxes, games, and consoles to sell today. The owner appraised them super quickly and gave me a fair price for the lot. He’s an awesome dude besides and I really enjoyed chatting with him while he worked. Will definitely come here again!

Great spot that reminds me of some of the game shops I frequented as a kid. Great selection of vintage games with super fair prices. I've sold video games and vinyl there on several occasions and I am always pleasantly surprised with what they are willing to pay me.

***Update. Still an amazing place. Their Vinyl selection has gotten SUPER solid. Lots of new records and very fair prices on used ones. Not the biggest selection, but it packs a punch. Worth stopping in.

Much more fair trade-in prices than GameStop, plus it's local. Glad I took my old games here instead.

Been coming here since I was a child, and I'm glad it is still here. If you want to have an awesome retro gaming hunt, come to this place. The guy is super nice, and easy to chat with. If you haven't been here, you need to check it out.

This place rocks, many fond childhood memories of coming up to Madison and stopping here. A treat even as an adult to any video game enthusiast. Fair pricing overall and great quality of products.

Had lots of Dreamcast games, which are rare now. Very nice set up and organized!! They have an option for a cash price or card price. Highly recommend!!

Interesting selection, great music, semi-convenient location, good prices, and a helpful staff. I really appreciate that they had masks and and hand sanitizer. AC was not working, but that is the inly negative.
