Andrew was amazing! He was so thorough in his explanation of what needed to happen to fix an issue that was causing a leak that I couldn't figure out for YEARS. He was so great at working with my schedule as well as my tenants. I would 100% call him for any HVAC issues I have in the future!

When I called into Reliable about a special winter sale they had going for furnace maintenance Christine was very prompt and professional. She set me up right away and answered all the questions I had about filters. She went over safety due to covid-19 to ensure myself and the technicians would be safe. As someone who hates talking on the phone, she is someone I wouldn't hesitate to call again next winter. When the technician arrived he was thorough. He explained how to keep my air in better quality with my dogs and wrote down the best filters that I should be using. After using Reliable I can say they're employee's truly care about their customers and I will be a repeat customer myself.

Very profession company on all levels. Long community history. We work with them on plumbing work & as well as heating. Not many really know boilers but they do. I've enjoyed working with them for 30 years on commercial and residential as well.

We had water heater problems and had called another company who I won’t mention. The quote was not only astronomically high, but it was incorrectly diagnosed. Keagan (sorry if I misspell that) from Reliable came over and not only fixed the problem, but was extremely polite, professional, and knowledgeable. I can’t say enough about this company! Refreshing to know there are still organizations out there that practice old school business standards and ethics! Thank you Reliable!

These guys are friendly and highly knowledgeable. They showed up on time, communicated clearly when the job would be complete, and there was always someone to help answer questions when I called. My family has been dealing with Reliable since my Great Grand Father. They are a definite go to in Champaign. I see some bad reviews on here but we haven't had any issues that they didn't resolve professionally and in a timely manner. Being in business for over 100 years shows alot about a company these days and especially being able to maintain an A rating on the better business bureau

Rob was was professional and friendly. We had an old system, which needed to he replaced and he was able to give us a few more weeks of use so we had time to plan. We were so pleased with Rob we will call Reliable in the future.

The pipe bringing water into the house burst. I called Reliable and they came right away. Fix the problem immediately, very courteous and personable. Very helpful.

These guys came out and got my ac fixed in no time. They are priced right and very professional.

Do not use Reliable! This place is out to rip you off! We made the mistake of calling Reliable to fix our leaky kitchen faucet and sink sprayer. The serviceman arrived reasonably on time, took 15 minutes to find that we needed a new sprayer head and washer for the fairly new Delta faucet. He said he did not have a suitable washer on his trucks or a sprayer head and would have to go to a supply store and find them. 45 minutes later he returned. It took him another 10-15 minutes to replace the washer. He told us we should just go to a local hardware store to replace the sprayer head ouselves, which we did later. He left a bill with neither his name or an amount on the bill, and said we would receive the bill in the mail. Several days later we received a $218.00 bill for replacing a washer in the faucet that took about 25-30 minutes to do....but we were charged for 2 hours of work because he was gone from our house for 45 minutes while at the plumbing supply store. When I phoned Reliable to complain about the bill, the service mgr/co-owner acted as if $218.00 is a reasonable amount to pay to replace a washer. Do not use Reliable!

I had requested a spigot to be added to our house. The guy came out, said he was scheduled for the whole day but was going out of town the next day for the holiday weekend and would prefer to just give me a quote because he had errands to run before going out of town. He also stated that it would likely cost more than I thought it would so that's also why he'd rather just give me a quote first. The job, based on his verbal quote, was more than I anticipated but I still wanted to move forward. After 3 weeks, we still never received a quote and he didn't clean up from what he did do. I can't imagine hiring them to come back out to do the job I requested.

I needed my thermocouple replaced on my water heater because the pilot kept going out. When I made the appointment, I told them as such. They did not bring one with them and included the time to go purchase the thermocouple (about 30 minutes) in the final bill. Sadly, the thermocouple was not the problem, so they came the next day and told me it was the vent to the closet. Before they came, I did my research to conclude that the next best step was to replace the water heater entirely, so I was expecting a quote for that. They didn't provide a quote. And the pilot went out again. At the third appointment, they kept focusing on the vent to the closet and the ventilation system in the whole building until I finally asked for a quote. The technician indicated that he was just going to tell me. It was $1500. I had called other places earlier that day; the cheapest was $1100. Ultimately, my family came to replace the water heater at a cost of less than $500. And all the places I called wanted to put in a bigger water heater than what would fit in the closet; Reliable had access to the closet and still wanted the bigger one installed. They then proceeded to charge me about $420 for ultimately replacing a thermocouple and adding a screw to the vent, both of which resulted in no positive outcome. I tried to be reasonable and suggest that I pay for the first visit only, but they simply wouldn't work with me. They accused me of trying to make them work for free; I told them that we would not be using their services in the future. Their response: "I'm sorry to hear that." I even complained to the Better Business Bureau, and Reliable simply ignored the complaint. They are simply unreasonable to work with, and with so many other options available in the area, I will choose someone else next time.

I was charged $230 for a guy to come over and tighten two valves with a wrench. It took him approximately 30 seconds and he neither replaced nor repaired any parts. He also did not wear a mask. I get charging extra for work after 5 (I called at 7:15) but this is exorbitant. They say exactly how little they did on the invoice, and that is NOT hundreds of dollars worth of work. I am appalled and will never be doing business with these people again.

Had a contract out with one of their people and they didn't return calls for days...took forever to get a hold of someone to actually schedule service, then the technician didn't show up or call to explain why they were late or when they were going to make it.

Screw them...I canceled the contract and went with someone else.
