Capri Express - To Go & Catering

Love Capri express. Vito and Phil are amazing. Their staff is all amazing. Food is perfect. They’re “two-day salad” is my favorite salad . They also make amazing cheeseburgers.

If you don't have time to sit down for a meal, this is the place to go. It is as good as their restaurant around the corner. It is amazing Italian food. I recommend the tortellini and the fettuccine Alfredo. We came in hungry so while we waited for our order, we grabbed a slice of pizza. We loved the crust and sauce. This is New York style pizza.

We visit Chicago about three times a year and this is dinner. One of the nights. We take it back to the hotel and then enjoy it with friends. I would always recommend their sit down restaurant but this is great when you can't spend the time to do that. You can call ahead or order online but we usually walk in and wait. They get the food out quickly.

Capri Express is our go-to. Everything is good. EVERYTHING. Pizza is fresh, not greasy, always tasty. If you like mushrooms on your pizza don't pass them up here. Four cheese gnocchi is a heavy, rich dish that is plentiful and delicious. Their homemade rigatoni in vodka sauce is 5 stars. Pork chops are large portions and very good. We've never had a pasta dish that wasn't top tier and that goes for appetizers as well. The brushetta is garlic heavy but in a good flavorful way. Stuffed artichoke is the best around. Arincinni are excellent. Eggplant rolls are divine. The sandwiches are good with a shout out to the paninis, especially the portobello mushroom & Swiss and the caprice one. Desserts are excellent. If you like Teramisu don't pass it up here. Same for the brownies. Their customer service is excellent. Quick delivery. They never mind special requests which we're full of and they always get them right. You cannot go wrong with Capri Express. There's nothing not to like on the menu.
Two more suggestions...the lemon chicken and the talipia fish entree. Both are awesome!! They might be pricey compared to other take out but the large portions, quality ingredients, consistency in flavor and overall wonderful dishes make this a restaurant you'll enjoy time after time.

Why spend 15-18 bucks at mc Donald’s when you can spend 20 for quality. Had chicken parm. And was enough for 2 people and I’m not joking. Large portion and very flavorful

Got takeout and was excited to try the square noodles — my husband and I really liked the homemade noodles with tomatoes and veal!

I was disappointed with the pizza and service I received when picking it up but an employee called and was very apologetic. I appreciate that they are trying to do a good job and maybe the pizza was just not what I’m used to since I’m from out of town. I changed my review to 5 stars and I hope you give them a chance if you have never eaten there before. They seem like great people and I wish them all the best!

The staff takes pride in what they do. Very friendly and welcoming as soon as you walk in the door. They check to make sure your order is correct before leaving. This is my favorite thin crust in the Chicagoland area. I drive all the way from the city to Burr Ridge to carry out and I love it. I recommend getting the pizza pie cut. Great chicken fingers and antipasto as well.

Got the stuffed artichoke, eggplant sandwich and rolled eggplant. This was so delicious. The only thing don’t put the chips in with hot sandwiches. Put in separate bag. Chips were no longer crisp because of the heat.

Great food and service;outdoor dining available as well. Reservations are highly recommended as this place gets packed but it's due to all the great food. We have tried several items on the menu over time, as this is one of our favorite places to go to-never had an item that would disappoint. The service is fantastic with the staff being friendly and attentive. Only downside they might run out of our favorite item if it's a special!

I cannot thank Capri Express enough. My catering order from another restaurant wasn't prepared even though I received an email saying the food was ready. We called Capri Express and they definitely delivered!!!!! Amazing subject sandwiches and Rigatoni. They saved our party and everyone loved the food & the delivery guy was very nice to us. Thank you soooo soooo soooo much Capri Express you saved my daughters birthday 🎂 🥳 🎉

The food here is amazing. 1st time ordering and were not disappointed! The staff is so friendly. Our order was delivered hot, fresh, and right on time. Will definitely make a stop here often!!

I walked in this reasturant because I was really hungry and wanted food. I got the homemade Rigatoni with vodka sauce it was so delicious. It comes with soup or choice of side salad. I also got a meatball sandwich for my girlfriend. I wanted to know if they had any specials they have a deal for 2 slices and a can of pop for 6.60$ they also told me they deliver and cater which is amazing. I will be coming back hungry for more

We ordered a half tray sausage and peppers, beef and pasta with beshamel sauce. Everything was terrific. The bread was fresh and plentiful. They included butter and Parmigiano without a special request. They offered to help me to the car with the trays and packaged the food perfectly to prevent any spills in the car. Everything was delicious and the service was extraordinary too!!

Excellent Food, Amazing for lunch!, Freshly made hot off the grill, pasta , chicken, veggies, as well as all their other items.. So many choices. Phil the owner is always up front working, taking orders, engaging , its really nice to have a local, true family owned business here in our town

Staff is extremely friendly ever time I go there it doesn't matter what time of the day or night it happens to be. Establishment is very clean and organized. They are very patient and helpful. Hands down the best gelato ever. I visit about twice per week for dinner and dessert.

I catered a party from here last week. The food was outstanding! I ordered extra and was surprised to find out there was very little left. My guests went back for seconds~ always a sign of good food!. I have ordered from them on may occasions and have always found the food to be fresh, well-prepared , extremely flavorful and authentic!

OUTSTANDING experience all around. The food is SO delicious! I ordered a gf pizza, it was cooked perfect. The zucchini appetizer is so good with the red sauce, and apistso salad, lots of ingredients. Delivery was awesome and food was HOT!!!! Thank you so much!

This place was incredible! I’m in town only for the night, and I ordered the house made rigatoni with vodka sauce and tiramisu. It is just as good as it looks in the pictures. The tiramisu was pretty bad, but I still give it 5 stars for the stellar pasta and really fast service.
