I recently was shopping for a particular piece of furniture, and the Algonquin location was the only one that had it that was reasonably close to me. I walked in, and Elvira assisted me. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and resourceful. She didn’t hover around me as I walked through the store, which I very much appreciated. I had a few questions and unfortunately the piece I wanted was not available in the color that was shown on the floor. Elvira did a great job of looking for different items and had other suggestions. The next day I was able to put in an order for Furniture . She followed up every step of the way, and was very , pleasant and resourceful throughout the process.

I’ve purchased furniture from The Room Place in the past, and I’ve always believe they had a lot of variety and merchandise available, and their furniture was of above average quality.

Brian was very helpful with my furniture purchase. I would highly recommend buying the Dalton surround system couch. This couch is amazing, so far we’ve watched the Jurrasic World movies and plenty more and the couch really feels like you’re at the movie theatre. Not only is it Bluetooth wireless but you can also connect it to an older TV. Thanks again Brian, FYI I found the wire to connect it to my tv. 15 bucks at Walmart. You’re the best, family’s happy.

I bought a dining room table from the room place in Algonquin. Brittney asked if she could help me. I told her exactly what I was looking for and she took me rite to it. She was very patience with the sale and nice. Even honest enough to go get her manager Joshua to answer what she couldn’t. He as well was very nice, polite and didn’t rush my sale. I will go back to purchase there and ask for Brittney. Thanks for making my purchase with buying from at your store!!

I made the order online and was a little worried because I didn't see what the furniture really looked like. By order, it was immediately apparent when the furniture would be available. I knew l would have to wait a little long time, but if you want exactly what you liked, you can wait as long as necessary and this is not a problem. Today I received the first part of my order and I am very impressed. The delivery guys were super fast. The furniture looks great and I hope I will use it for a long time. I look forward to my second part of the order. Great service!!!

I needed a bedroom set for out of town guests fast. Brittney was amazing! I walked in she was friendly and very helpful. They are delivering the set in 2 days. Was a very easy process. The sales manager, Elvira is professional and knowledgeable about every product in the store. She is gracious and answers every question with courtesy. And Daniel and his co-worker are careful and efficient. I couldn’t ask for better. Buy with confidence.

I just bought a living room set with Jasmine's help, she was the BEST furniture salesperson I have encountered in my many years of buying furniture! She was knowledgeable, patient, listened to what I said, and just the right amount of helpful without being pushy. She made the experience of buying furniture quickly, during a nationwide shortage, actually easy and pleasant. I couldn't recommend her more!

This rating was based on Sale associate Jasmine. Talk to her on phone prior to coming to the store. She was very pleasant on the phone. Went to store and met with Jasmine. She is sweet, very helpful and took her time with me. And what I liked the most is she didn't pressure me to buy. Gave me her thoughts on what 2 things I was looking to but. The 3rd thing I knew what I wanted. After close 2 a hour with her bought what I went in for hoping to buy. Home Room Place you have a great Sales associate in Jasmine.

We only went to The RoomPlace after first being lured to Ashley HomeStore by a Black Friday ad. We were ignored by the employee stationed at the door. We walked around a bit, and finally asked another employee where the Black Friday items were located. He was not very friendly, and pointed us the way to the few couches they had from the ad, then walked away. It seemed obvious to us they had no interest in getting our business, so we left and decided to try to take our business next door and make our first ever visit to The RoomPlace.
What a difference! We were immediately welcomed at the door by Brittany, who was very friendly and helpful in assisting us in figuring out what fit our home the best, she's very knowledgeable in home decorating, and was very patient with us, showing us many different options, until we finally decided on a living room set. We even decided to get a new dining room set as well, which Brittany also gave insightful advice on.
Brittany and Freddy were also wonderful in helping us get financed and getting all the paperwork done. The ladies in the office were very nice as well.
I usually don't do reviews, but the huge difference in service we experienced between Ashley and The RoomPlace compelled me to share. We will definitely come back to The RoomPlace for all our furniture needs!

If you have a chance to go in and make a purchase. Make sure you speak to Ben. THE GUY IS AMAZING! Very friendly and knowledgeable, and the best part is he doesn't try to be a "salesman". My wife and I went in last night to buy furniture and he went above and beyond helping us out. He didn't try to push us in and out, but took the time to make sure we were comfortable with our purchases and worked with us to make get us the best pricing and financing options available. As I said, see Ben for all of your furniture needs and you will walk out very happy.

Sunny was fabulous, not pushy and showed us everything we wanted to see. She took her time and helped us make the right decision.

We've shopped a number of furniture stores, all we're fine, but on entering the Room Place we experienced a different feel. It was a more professional, less pushy sales staff, helpful and honest. The Room Place was a better option for us, and we purchased from them at a very reasonable price and superior customer care. We would shop there again and happily recommend Bill, Brian and the Room Place to you.

Me and my mother stopped into The Roomplace and we met with Jasmine. She was extremely helpful and helped us figure out how to save the most money possible. She was a great associate. Definitely recommend coming here and you should ask for Jasmine. She also speaks Spanish!

We walked in not knowing what we wanted. We were greeted by Sunny and she was very pleasant. She directed us to the areas of the different room setups and allowed us time to browse. If we had a question she was available and knowledgable. She was not pushy or overbearing. Fantastic demeanor and personable. We made our selection without feeling pressured or obligated. I would highly recommend this location and Sunny as customer service representative.

We went to the Algonquin, IL location to buy a new living room couch and to scout out kitchen tables for next time. We met a lady by the name of Sandra C. She was knowledgeable, kind, and patient with us as we told her what we were looking for. We were so impressed with her, that we bought both the couch and the kitchen table set from her.
