I was thrilled with my rentals from Saris and Things! Aisha helpfully answered all of my questions regarding appropriate wedding attire and sent photos of multiple lehenga options before I placed my order. She included multiple sizes and colors for the top with my order, which was much appreciated! I used the same day shipping option within Chicago, and the process was efficient and the quality was excellent. I got compliments all night long, and I would absolutely use Saris and Things again!

We had such a great experience choosing our saris for a wedding in Texas. I highly recommend Saris and Things. The accommodations for renting were easily accessible and client appealing. We had many compliments regarding our regalia which made the occasion even more exciting. A big thank you to the staff at Saris and Things!

Saris and things was amazing! I attended my first Indian and was so excited to wear the traditional Kurta. Everyone at the wedding complemented our outfits! Saris and things customer service was great! Originally I ordered a different Kurta but they didn't have it in my size....they called me right after placing my order and shipped me a different one on the same day.

Returning it was also super easy and they provide all the labels to do so! If I have another Indian wedding in the future I will be renting from them again!

Aisha was incredible and not only did I get the most beautiful clothing for a Diwali celebration but a new friend. Everything about my experience was top notch and she went above and beyond to make me feel welcome & beautiful! I can’t wait to have another event just so I can experience Sari and Things again!

I was so happy with my rentals from Saris and Things! Aisha was quick to answer all my questions and offer suggestions for wedding attire. She even sent some extra sizes/colors when the initial size didn't work out as planned with plenty of time to spare before the wedding. Up close photo for jewelry that was rented as well. The process was very easy, shipping was fast and the quality of the clothing was excellent. We got a lot of compliments!

I got overly ambitious and decided to wear a sari to a Diwali event. I wore a Kurti pant suit last year but decided to brave it and get a sari this year. I searched online for shops that sell read- to-wear, pre-stitched saris and came across Saris and Things. I placed an order for a lovely navy and gold sari. The next morning, I got an email, text and phone messages, and a (missed) phone call from Ayesha at Saris and Things notifying me that my selection had already been rented out. I called her back and she apologized profusely, and sent me photos of a few other options. I settled on another beautiful navy blue and gold sari that she picked. The sari shipped out by UPS Two-Day shipping that afternoon. This was a Tuesday and my event was on Sunday afternoon.

The sari arrived on Friday. Because I had shopped around for ready to wear pre-stitched type saris, it got in my head that the sari I ordered would be similar. I was mortified when I unboxed the sari and found yards upon yards of fabric and only pre-pleated folds on the skirt portion! I was almost in tears. I’d never worn a sari before and didn’t know how I was going to wear this. I started to text Ayesha to see if I could return the sari. I figured I could skip the event this year since I didn’t have anything to wear. I stopped short of the second sentence of my message to Ayesha, took deep breaths, put on my big girl pants, and decided to search YouTube for videos on how to wrap/drape a sari. I watched hundreds of videos! I saved two that looked quick and easy. I texted Ayesha the next day (Saturday) and she reassured me that everything would be all right. She sent me a couple of videos similar to the ones I already had and told me I could do this. How amazing is she???!!!

I woke up at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday to make sure I had plenty of time to get dressed. Showered, put on my face, got my iPad, and watched the video on replay while draping the sari. I prayed under my breath and kept telling myself “You got this!” Well, I got flustered and I didn’t got this. I decided to wing it because the clock was ticking and I needed to leave. The event was at noon and it would take me 45 minutes to get there. I hoped there would be someone at the event who would be able to help me adjust the skirt and the pallu.

Someone was looking out for me because there was a lovely Indian lady at the registration desk who complimented me and also praised me for wearing a sari. I told her that I had draped it all wrong and she offered to help me adjust it. We went to the restroom and in about five minutes, she transformed me from a sack of potatoes to the belle of the ball!

The first photo was taken at home just before I left. I couldn’t figure out how to align the border for the pallu (the part that goes over the shoulder) and I couldn’t get the pleats positioned correctly on the skirt. The second photo is with my fairy godsister, who helped me adjust my sari. The third photo is with friends who dressed in traditional Indian clothing.

I’m extremely impressed with the quality and selection of clothing at Saris and Things. I love that they send you two different cholis to wear with the sari. The level of customer service that I received from Ayesha was above and beyond anything I expected. She’s just a lovely, lovely person inside and out, and ever so compassionate. We even exchanged photos while texting and she looks like a Bollywood star! I’m absolutely delighted that she’s someone who I can now call a friend.

Asha was so helpful in helping me find the perfect lehenga! She even paired the lehenga with the matching jewelry. I absolutely loved this set.

It was such a wonderful experience renting from Saris and Things. I needed something last minute and Ayesha went above and beyond to get me, my husband and my friend what we needed. She was incredibly kind and patient and made sure we had exactly what we wanted - even sending new sizes when the first didn’t fit. I have never had better customer service. I needed to rent some outfits for an October wedding, as a non Indian person I needed help! Despite being on the other side of the country, Ayesha helped me out through phone calls and texts to get the right outfits for the events I was attending. This company honestly went above and beyond to make sure I had a successful weekend.

When I received my box of outfits in the mail, it was packed with a few extra blouses just in case a size was off as well as beautiful coordinating jewelry. I honestly felt and looked amazing and got so many complements! I would use this company again and highly recommend it for a very personalized experience.

Ayesha was very helpful in helping me choose my outfits. She helped me pick the right choices and helped me find everything I was looking for. Her customer service was excellent and I recommend everyone who is looking for indian style outfits to go see her if you need any help in selections. They have a great collection of wardrobes and styles and I will definetly be going back soon for more outfit selections!

Aiesha was SO helpful in explaining everything I needed to know for wearing a sari for the first time. She got me set up with everything I needed including the jewelry and took the time to show me how to fold/pleat the sari and where to pin it. She was so easy to work with and so accommodating, I highly recommend Saris and Things! The sari was absolutely beautiful and I got so many compliments on my outfit!

As someone with no knowledge on traditional wedding wear, I assumed it would be a quick process to find a lehenga. I unfortunately found out the hard way that most of them are made to measure! After searching through countless websites, I thought I would have nothing to wear to the wedding I was invited to, that is until I found Saris and Things.

So many beautiful options and luckily, not only had ready to wear lehenga but the option to rent and/or buy!

I fortunately found the perfect lehenga, and quickly placed as order for expedited shipping. 2 days before I was set to fly out for the wedding, I received a call from Neeru informing me my lehenga was unavailable! Panic almost set in before she offered me an even more beautiful lehenga and would overnight it so I would have it in my hands.

I was concerned as I had never tried it on before but I am so happy Neeru came to my rescue. Not only did the dress fit PERFECT but I received the best compliments.

I now regret not buying instead of renting, as of the date of this review, I have been invited to yet another traditional wedding. At least now I won’t waste time searching elsewhere, as Saris and Things is now my go to.

I had a really great experience renting with Saris and Things! I needed an outfit for an "Indian formal" 50th anniversary party, and found a gorgeous outfit to wear. When they didn't have the color I requested in stock in my size, they contacted me with an alternate color, which I ended up liking more than the initial one that I ordered. They also sent jewelry, which I was not expecting. Also, I ordered on a Saturday for an event the next week, and received it by Wednesday. I got a ton of compliments at the party on my outfit! I would absolutely rent from them again.

This company was fantastic. I cannot say enough good things about them. I had to rent two separate outfits for my husband and me for a wedding and was completely lost in the sauce on what to wear. Getting the outfits shipped to us was an ease; everything arrived on time, and sending it back was also easy, as they provided the shipping label. The woman who helped me was truly phenomenal, patient, answered all my questions, and went above and beyond to make sure I had what I needed. The wedding was so much more memorable because of Saris and Things.

They make you feel very comfortable. There is tons of absolutely gorgeous options to browse but you’ll want their expertise.

We were given excellent customer service as we walked through the options for each of the 4 ceremonies we would be attending.

They work hard to make sure the fit and comfort is right and that you really the total look of what you are wearing. They also complete looks with jewelry. I really appreciated they were able to work with myself and my mom (26 and 57) for age appropriate styles.

This is not an inexpensive option. After doing some shopping online and browsing other rentals this is by far the highest quality and most unique clothing, especially convenient if you’re in Chicagoland area.

Ayesha with Saris and Things was wonderful and so helpful in picking out a gorgeous velvet lehenga and sherwani. They were absolutely stunning and we received many compliments. The shipping was seamless and Ayesha was always available for any questions. I felt like a princess. Hoping to be invited to another wedding so we can rent again! I had an absolutely amazing experience renting from Saris and Things for my friends' wedding in Toronto in August! Not only did Afshan provide great customer service (even texting me directly and helping me select the perfect size/answering all of my questions) but the lehenga was stunning in-person. My experience shopping here was AMAZING i highly recommended! Everyone is very helpful especially Neeru. She is really amazing and you can tell she loves and enjoys what she does! She helped me find the most beautiful outfit to wear to this wedding and I absolutely loved it! The jewelry she picked out was absolutely stunning! She even showed me how to tie the sari in each step and answered all my questions. Not to mention this place is fast, quick and efficient. Neeru was able to help me pick out a outfit for a wedding I was attending the next day in a different state. The prices are very reasonable and they have so many options to choose from. I’m so happy I found this place they really are wonderful to rent for a wedding and the return policy is so quick and easy you will no regret coming here.
