One of the best if not the best Walmart in Chicagoland.

Update February 26th, 2023:
Walmart closing March 10th or earlier. This was the best one by a long shot of any Walmart I have been to. Unfortunately the financials didn't do as good as it should have for Walmart corporate 😞

It is now abandoned and completely empty. If you want to get in, there is a security car out front.

Customer service was outstanding. My 10 yr old spent his Christmas money on a video game only to get home and find the package empty! It had no game in the cartridge but they exchanged it for us. I know there's a lot of scammers returning empty packages and they did not have to accommodate me but they did! You made my little guy very happy!! Thank you.

The Walmart in Plainfield looks so clean and organized after it’s remodeling process and it’s very friendly here! I love this Walmart Location! :) 👍😁

Phenomenal customer service by Marvin in Walmart Delivery Department. When there was a Door Dash issue in picking up my order, he was on it immediately, made sure my order was correct and followed up with me with a phone call to keep me informed on my order status. He was polite and efficient in helping solve the issue as quickly as he was able. THIS is what great customer service looks like.

Wide variety of products in all categories, low prices for every day needs. Can’t imagine life without a Walmart near me.

Walmart is under construction.. some of work is done. The store looks so much better, brighter more open space throughout the store. Less cashier more self check out. Don't know how this may work out during the holiday season. That's months away for now. Can't wait till it's finished to see the complete job.

Employees are very helpful to me. They graciously lead me to items I can't locate in this big store. And Willie, in the Deli and all over the store, is VERY helpful, generous, kind, professional, and knowledgeable. Walmart is fortunate to have Willie representing them to the public!

When I need to do a Walmart shopping trip, this is the location I will drive from over 30 minutes away to go to. In the few years I have been frequenting, I have always looked forward to the actually pretty relaxing trip as I would refer to it. The aisles are stocked well, never come across areas that were untended to or dirty. The associates seem to be working on the floor instead of talking to eachother like I have unfortunately found too many times at other stores. Overall there seems to be enough space so that it doesn't feel overcrowded, even when I start to checkout there are a few lanes always open and the checkout process is quick and painless. It is def worth the trip to get your shopping done and not have your blood pressure raised.

This location was very clean and organized, has a Dunkin'Donuts in side, has some useless spaces being occupied by non relevant occupants, check out lines some are rather small you cud barely fit your basket through.

Was just in the store Kyla was working the front door. Such great customer service. She help me several times with the electric scooter. I had to replace the first one because it was faulty. She made sure I got another one. There was an older guy who was riding one as well and his battery went out. She assisted in that as well as another young-man whose name I did not get. I end up giving him mine because there wasn't any more available. Mine end up going out again. Here comes Kyla to the rescue. She got me started after I'd been trying with another nice young-lady for about four minutes. Needless to say, I was able to give the man mine. Here comes Kyla again assisting him in transferring his stuff over from his scooter to mine. This young-lady went above and beyond. Other people would have gotten tired of us and try to hide or stop assisting . She did everything with a smile. Thank you so much Kyla!

I was a customer at the auto center with a problem with my tires. I was also 20+ miles from home. The associates were very professional and very helpful. They fit me into their very busy schedule, diagnosed the problem and got me underway. They're the best.

Store is closing March 10th, 2023. Everything is 50% off, it may go to 75% off the last week, because it use to be 25% off the first week of closure announcement. So keep checking.

I have been there a few times and they're always stocked with what I need. The prices are affordable. I have never had to wait in lines. The staff is friendly and helpful. The store is clean with so much more to select from. I say much more to select from because the Walmart hardly ever has anything and that makes it impossible to not shopping there.

Today, I mistakenly dropped my credit card between the cash register and the drinks’ refrigerator. After another employee wasn’t able to help, Sadie went above and beyond to make sure that I did not leave without my card. She heard her coworker’s thoughts on the inability to do what needed to be done, but tried any way. I am glad that she was right. Thank you, Sadie.

5 stars go out today because of the staff. Helpful and by interacting with them my and I ended up becoming an Angel for Salvation Army going back and shopping to make someone's Christmas wish come true!
