Brenda's Frozen Custard

Wife and I stopped in for some quick lunch. I had cheese burger meal. My wife had a breaded chicken sandwich. Food was very good. Well presented in a 50's diner atmosphere. Family friendly. A lot of people coming for custard dessert. Service was top notch and friendly. A hidden gem.

OK just found this place I am from Hinkley Illinois And this is the 1st time that I actually ate a real hamburger not a frozen patties, not round patties a real hamburger! Their double cheeseburger was full of flavor it was awesome and it was huge an at a good price as well They have so much other stuff that Im going to be going back to try some more. If you've never checked it out then you're missing out , check them out today
Oh and on top of it the two girls that were in there , which was today Sunday April 10th were awesome!

A bit pricey but well worth it. Inside is neat and clean and the ladies at the counter were very friendly. Average waffle cone and 2 scoops will run you about 8 dollars or so per person. Will visit again.

If you guys keep track of my other reviews you will notice that there arent that many good places to eat in sandwhich. BUT BRENDAS IS A MUST SEE ATTRACTION! Their ice cream/shakes just might be the best around and their loaded nacho platters have ALL FRESH ingredients! The ambiance was also awesome as I completely felt like i was dining at a late 60’s early 70’s diner, with clean stools and elvis music playing. The service was also top notch! Autumn brought my food right to my table and also took my order with a nice smile, and Ethan had a welcoming smile on his face as well. If you have time and are hungry DEFINITELY check this place out

Very cool ice cream place stopped in there for custard the other day it was wonderful. I had to double scoop chocolate custard and turned into a shake at the end

Brenda’s exceeded all my expectations. From the really good Dylan’s Delight panini to the unbelievably tasty puppy chow arctic blast and the friendly staff, every aspect of my visit was truly outstanding thank you very much for making our first visit a pleasant one we will eat here again if we come to visit Sandwich.

CUTE place!! Love the vintage decor and feel. The music is from the 40s. The custard was yummy! I got the Betty Boop arctic (vanilla custard with cherry pie filling and chocolate slivers.) The employee is super helpful and friendly. Definitely would be a regular if I lived in the area.

The free custard was actually free, even the cones!! Tasted amazing, and good service! And WOW, a big portion too! Gotta love it!

Amazing ice cream!! I’ve also had their wraps and they’re very delicious and fresh. Sometimes food takes a bit long but it’s worth it cause you know they’re making it fresh. It gets very packed around lunch time so be prepared! Very well worth it and their turtle sundaes are very good as well. They’re very generous with portions :)

Super cute place. Love all of the Marilyn Monroe & Elvis decor. I got a burger w/ tots and my husband got a chicken sandwich w/ cheese curds. We both enjoyed our food. Hot and fresh. Friendly service as well :)

Seriously fantastic. Great food and wonderful service. The staff was so friendly. The homemade waffle come is amazing. I love that they have a flavor of the day. It is such a great small place to go. I am so glad I found them.

Food was so fresh and good. Bacon cheese fries and beef panini were excellent. We will go out of our way to go back to Brendas. New girl behind counter was polite and friendly. Can’t wait to try their custard.

Love love LOVE coming here. I came here as a kid and I never get tired of it. The workers are always so sweet and helpful, and especially patient when I have cousins or younger kids with me.

Custard tastes great, love the flavor of the day option. Staff is always friendly. There is a little wait for food but you can tell they are making it fresh to order.

Their homemade cookie dough is delicious and definitely worth a try. Have some added to your custard - even better if you get it as a blast so it is mixed throughout (instead of just added as a topping).
