Club Phoenix II

Going through the area and stumbled upon this place!! It was so so good! And you don’t go away hungry! Our waitress Julie was awesome, friendly and funny! We had the Walleye and bacon cheese burger that was at least a 1/2 pound burger!

Best steak I’ve ever had!! Hands down. Way better than Alexander’s. The burgers are amazing too. If you’re looking for a hidden gem this is it!!

Oh my greatness does this place rocks! The portions are HUGE, as in have enough left over for lunch the next day. The ribs fall apart, juicy, and no bones. The bacon cheese burger was huge and the bacon hung over the bun a good inch and a half on both sides. I have never had frog legs. I tried them because hey you only live once. They are deep fried and have a good crunch to the batter. Everything was hot even though I stopped and talked awhile to folks I haven't seen for months. Their stakes were HUGE also. I do not understand why more folks do not eat here. I guess it is Bartonville's best kept secret! The prices are low if you have been to a store lately to know.

Steak was the best I have had in a long time. Was so big had to take over half home. For the price, you get a huge steak, large salad and baked potatoes.

Julie is the best the food was so good I think it's one of the best steaks I've ever had this is going to be one of my favorites places to eat

I've always been a fan of their quesadillas and their burgers but I kept seeing posts about how good their steaks were. By far the best and biggest fillet mignon I've had. After several bites I thought..I thought I bet I could cut this with a fork. Yep. Been lucky enough to have had several stakes around town in different places. This is number 1. Great and friendly service.

Everyone should go to this great restaurant. Wonderful food, great atmosphere, fantabulous owner as well. You can't go wrong going here!

Great ribeye dinner 🍽 absolutely must try this if your hungry for a good steak dinner

First time at this restaurant, ordered catfish, walleye, and ribeye dinners. Each was excellent. Service outstanding. Will go again.

It's low key atmosphere may throw you off. But trust me, the food and service are unbelievable. We had a party of five and everyone was very pleased and we all will definitely be back. I had the steak special on Friday night which was seasoned and cooked to perfection and their egg rolls are out of this world! Definitely a must try!

The whole catfish was great and the fries and salad. Will definitely be going back. Good iced tea as well. Mozzarella sticks were excellent.

Definitely a 5 star!! We have been a few times and will definitely go back. It is a hidden gem in Bartonville and the food is great. Our last visit was a table of five, all ordered something different and left 100% satisfied. Portion sizes are big and cost is very reasonable. Support small business and try Club Phoenix out- they will not disappoint.

Great burgers, steaks, and sandwiches at reasonable prices!

We happened upon this place when picking a friend up at the airport. We ordered the burgers with fries which were really good and REALLY BIG!! The aroma of steaks cooking as we entered was awesome and tempting as well.

Was in the area and stopped by for dinner last night. Our table of 5 ordered a variety of menu items and all raved about the food. HUGE portions! Great value and reasonable prices.

Wow! Hidden gem. We had rib eye, walleye and frog legs. The steak was FANTASTIC. Topped w onions and fresh mushrooms. Exactly how I ordered it and full of flavor. The walleye and frog legs were also spectacular. Nice big salad and a creamy backed potato. Sturdy chairs and booths, no need to dress up. Atmospher is very paid back not fancy. But The food A+

This is a hidden gem. The food is good, with a good variety and prices are reasonable. Julie and Jim are the owners. They make everyone feel welcome. Favorites are the meatloaf special on some Thursdays, the fried chicken, and the bacon cheeseburger.

Located in one of the remaining historic Peoria State Hospital buildings, Club Phoenix II is most certainly the best locally-owned Bar and Grill I've ever been to for food in the Peoria area. The owners and staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating, the food is delicious, and the portion size of the food definitely gives you value for your dollar. Everything that I've tried on their menu is just wonderful, making it difficult to choose just which one mouth-watering plate to order. Hands-down the best BLT I've ever had ( the bacon is crisp, not limp and soggy, and they don't skimp on it!) and the shrimp dinner is to die for! Expect to get beautifully cooked, large, crispy (not greasy) shrimp with a perfectly baked potato, and a HUGE side salad...definitely worth a try! And speaking of huge salads, their grilled chicken salad is topped with a full, freshly grilled and perfectly seasoned chicken breast, not scrawny frozen strips of chicken like some places. Whether you're passing through Bartonville or are a resident in the area, definitely give Club Phoenix II a try.
