Le Gong Gourmet

First time to try Le Gong Gourmet and the food was delicious! Better than the Chinese buffets. The Orange chicken and chicken fried rice had good flavor, and the lunch special was a good size! I will be back. I did burn my tongue on the orange chicken sauce because it was so hot, so be careful. The restaurant is under new ownership, so I wonder if they will expand in the future. It’s good to know there is a reliable Chinese restaurant in Waukesha.

My husband is not crazy about Chinese food, however, he LOVED the beef and mushroom dish and so did I. Lots of flavor and generous with the meat and wonderful large mushrooms. The pork fried rice was superb. Even their white rice has great texture and flavor. The food is so much better than previous owner. New owners are very nice.

Not just another local Chinese place, this is an EXCEPTIONAL Chinese place, period! Food, service, & atmosphere are perfect. Easily the best I've ever had! Fresh, generous portions, not greasy, and if you dine in, very clean with great service!

Also rate their choice of menu app (qmenu) as outstanding. Easy to use, fast, and works the 1st time like it's supposed to!!

I think it's under next gen management now & clearly these kids were raised right!!

Love their food. It is delicious with generous servings. I get the vegetable with tofu. I've also had the shrimp - it's large and fresh tasting. And it's clean! I live in Milwaukee but come here when in the area.

We ordered carry out and it was awesome! And it was done exactly at the time we ordered it for!
We had the crab Rangoon’s and they were still very hot when we started eating! And they tasted great!
We had an order of chicken, shrimp and cashews. There was a ton of shrimp and chicken and it tasted amazing! We also had General TSO’s and it was cooked to perfection!

I ordered online for pick up. Did not dine in but the space is very small. The order was accurate and the food was great! Service was friendly.

The food is the best. Love the great variety of vegetables! Vegetables cooked perfectly! Not hard not mushy they are perfect! The meats are tender and flavorful. Staff is kind and fast. I love LeGong!

I ordered the shrimp egg foo young lunch and it was excellent. Food came out fresh and piping hot. There were 2 large egg foo young patties over fried rice, gravy, an egg roll and a can of soda for under $9 including tax. Great value and better than other fast casual Chinese restaurants in the Waukesha area.

The family that runs the restaurant are very kind which makes lovely service and the food is very delicious, I come here often for the lo mein since in my opinion is the best dish they serve but with a wide variety of dishes to choose from, I think you’ll find your taste somewhere! This place is underrated 100%! Deserves some more recognition :D

I ran in and ordered shrimp eggrolls before I had to catch my bus. Those eggrolls were so delicious. I ended up also ordering sweet-and-sour chicken and Singapore noodles to bring home for dinner for my family. It was absolutely delicious. The young lady who took my order was warm and welcoming. The restaurant had a quiet peaceful vibe and was nice and clean. I just recently ordered delivery. The food was delivered very quickly it was very hot and very delicious.

The food is always good and very affordable. Friendly service. It’s primarily take out, so lunch specials are usually ready in 10 to 15 minutes.

We recently tried Le Gong again for lunch. Super surprised by the value of their lunch menu. $7.95 most if not all of the options. Food was very good as well. We will continue to consider this a great lunch carry out option.

Great, inexpensive food! You can get lunch for $8. (I have not dined in since the new owners took over.) I have never been disappointed by the food. The chicken is white meat and never grisly, and the veggies are fresh.

They are a great deal for parties of three to four. The house egg fu young is awesome. Not overly decorated. Fine by me.

We happened to be in the area for an appointment and I noticed they had a sign Grand Opening. So after our appointment we stopped for a take out order. My husband got chicken Lo Mein and Chicken fried rice and an egg roll. I got shrimp with mixed veggies and vegetables Lo Mein. DELICIOUS!!!!! Everything was very tasty and super fresh. Even though it’s about a 40 minute ride for us. We will be back. Thank you for our delicious meals! We came back yesterday for the second time and again all the food was great! We love this restaurant!

I ordered general tso chicken combo platter, rangoons, chicken with snow peas, and a pork egg roll. All the food was delicious and definitely worth coming back for!

The 3/5 for atmosphere is because it was carry out and I didn’t dine in the restaurant.

Today I ordered General Tso chicken, and egg foo young, it was ridiculously amazing. The general Tso chicken was on point, it was nice and crispy, it’s very flavorful. I would come again to buy that. For the egg foo young, it was amazing. The gravy and everything was so good. It tastes amazing. I’m inlove with this new ownership change. Their prices are very worthy to afford, their service is amazing. They are so polite and welcoming. Their food is my comfort zone. I would come again!!

Really delicious food! It’s always warm when it’s delivered or when we do carry out.

Food was excellent, ready on time for pickup. Courteous staff. Price is reasonable. Overall a very good experience.
