I cannot recommend this place enough! Sue does amazing work! She turned my mom’s wedding dress into a bridal shower dress for me, such a special project and it turned out better than i could have ever imagined! She also altered my wedding dress which turned out perfect! P

Sue did such an amazing job transforming my wedding dress into the one I dreamed of! Throughout the whole process she was so accommodating on appointment times and made me feel so comfortable. It was an overall pleasant experience and I would recommend her to anyone that needs alterations! Here are the before and after pictures of my dress!

Fabulous work done at a very reasonable price. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. My dress had to be taken in almost 10 inches around and a foot hem. Can't even tell the dress didn't fit before.

Wonderful experience here! I’ve gotten bridesmaid dresses and my wedding dress altered here. Sue is very professional and is easy to work with. My wedding dress was detailed and she altered it perfectly! She did the bustle which held up well all night. I also bought a consignment veil here which was very affordable.

I was absolutely terrified to get my large tulle ballgown bustled. When I read the reviews for personal touch, I felt confident driving an hour out of my way to feel the kind of comfort Sue's expertise brings. And the bustle?? You can't tell it's not a separate skirt entirely. Holy cow. She also worked with my medicine induced weight fluctuations up until the week of the wedding to keep me feeling good and keep my mind off my size. Satisfied does not begin to describe how happy I am that I found her. And if she's still in the industry for my child's wedding day, I know who I'd like to visit!!! I got my wedding dress altered here and the service was wonderful! I was given plenty of time to make adjustments as needed and she guided me with care and information. I would definitely recommend anyone getting a dress, including wedding dress, to be taken care of here. Wedding was 9/12/2020.

Sue was absolutely amazing to work with! She did the alterations on both of my wedding dresses and my mom’s dress. She was professional, timely, very flexible, and extremely affordable for the literal remaking of my second dress. She was able to transform (more like reconstruct) my second dress from a strapless a-line that was 4 sizes too big, to a tea-length dress with butterfly sleeves. She is truly amazing at what she does!

She helped create my vision with both my wedding dress and my rehearsal dinner outfit, a white jumpsuit. She was friendly and professional, very responsive and easy to work with. Her prices are fair and the quality of her work is impeccable!

Sue is such a sweet lady and she is reasonably priced too! I took my wedding dress in before the pandemic and she kept me up to date with her progress as I couldn’t come in to try my dress on after some businesses had to close. Once I was able to get in to the shop and try my dress on it was already almost completed. It only took me 3 visits to get the entire wedding dress altered and hemmed. I am so impressed with her work on my beading and my under bustle is perfect! I highly recommend this small town seamstress, she does great work!

Sue did such an amazing job at bringing my vision to life on my wedding dress! I had boughten a dress and taken it to Sue to have quite a few alterations done and she did such a awesome job! I knew what I wanted it to look like but never expected it to actually be the "perfect" dress... but it was beyond perfect! I fell in love with it after she altered it! I can not say thank you enough! It turned out so good!!

Sue is beyond amazing. I purchased my wedding dress online knowing that it was too small, and then it arrived in an even smaller size than what was advertised. I had already fallen in love with the dress, so after some research I desperately contacted Sue. She did so much for me in so little time. She removed the zipper and added a corset, and took the dress out at the hips so that it fit perfectly. She also shortened the dress and added drop sleeves, and even created a custom veil to match my dress. Sue's work is beautiful and her prices are more than fair. She has a lovely shop and is such a sweet lady who really makes you feel comfortable. I highly, highly recommend Personal Touch Sewing!

Bought my wedding dress which was about 4 inches too long but the bottom was soo pretty I was terrified to know how it would be shortened and even more scared to think that I would lose all my pretties and how much it would cost. She was quick and flexible to work with and my wedding dress came out beautiful. Not to mention how affordable the alterations were. My MOH needed her dress slightly shorter and it was altered on the spot to avoid another travel day with appointment.
