They aren't lying when they say this place is hard to find. Right on the river, it has outdoor seating to bad we went in January. Next time we'll go in Warmer weather. My son and I ordered one of their famous shipwreck shakes. Both were amazing. I also ordered the giant pretzel it was really good just too much for me. All the food was great and the service was excellent. Restaurant is really cool and requires a return visit for sure. Highly recommend if you're in the Peoria area.

Great place, amazing food and even better service. Their bloody marys are out of this world. We didn't try one, but their desert shakes look incredible. Pricing is fair for what you get. Right on the river! Great atmosphere!

It was my first time visiting Kuchie's on the water and despite the fact that we went on a Saturday night they weren't even that busy. I think we had to wait maybe about 20 minutes or so and it was kind of a spur of the moment decision to go. We've lived in the area for 23 years but have never actually been there. I think we tried to go before but the wait was long so we opted out due to a somewhere that we had to be later. I think the fireworks were going on a Marquette Heights this weekend so we got pretty lucky since they weren't busy. My waitress's name was Christina and she was really down to earth, I appreciated her honest and genuine personality. We had a few small conversations and it was honestly nice to talk to her. I was telling her that we came there because I wanted to have a good burger somewhere so then we were talking about the quality of food at other places. My husband mentioned that the Big Mac meal used to be $2.99 back in the day and then she made a little joke about his age, she was a lot of fun! Before we were seated I got to meet the owner and she was so nice to meet. As we waited for our table we stood there talking to her about all the different foods at the restaurant and what sells the most of in regards to meals and even the desserts. I thoroughly enjoyed my time waiting for my table just as much as I did the food. I ordered the Topless Beach Burger and of course we had to try the garlic bread cheese curds and they were quite delicious! The strawberry lemonade was on point too I asked for extra strawberries and they spoiled me on that! Oh I almost forgot we also tried the toffee butter cake because the owner told me that that was the best dessert on the menu and she wasn't wrong , it was mouth-watering! I absolutely loved being able to sit at the best table on the the deck (in the corner) and being able to watch the boats and jet skis out out on the water. The weather was absolutely perfect it was so beautiful out & I was so happy to have my first visit at Kuchie's since I've been trying to go for quite a while! Highly recommend going and maybe even calling ahead for seating if that's available.

Group of four of us dined in and all got different dishes. I had the onion bourbon sliders which tasted great. For dessert I had the toffee butter cake and it was one of the best desserts I have ever eaten honestly! Service was friendly and quick

Very busy Saturday night at dinner time. With a 30 minute wait for a table riverside we grabbed drinks at the bar & sat outside at a picnic table & waited roughly 30 minutes for our table. Once seated there's a nice view of the river. We shared the fried steak bites which were paired with a horseradish sauce that tasted amazing. For our entree we shared the fried fish entree. We chose fries & Mac & cheese for our sides. All tasted very good. For dessert we shared the strawberry shipwreck shake. Wife & I both agreed that the steak bites should be offered as an entree with two sides as we'd just order that in the future. Looking forward to a return trip!

The owner made her way to our table, to make sure everything was top notch! Our waitress Carrie/Kari was AMAZING! The Shipwreck Burger Sweet Potato Fries & Ultimate Burger were so juicy and delicious. Great atmosphere and fun energetic vibes. We drove 2 hrs and it was SO WORTH IT! Reasonably priced, Great selection on the menu! No wait time. The service.... off the charts! 5 ☆'s and I never give that many stars. Very clean environment and overall pleasing!

We loved this place! Food was good staff was friendly. Indoor and outdoor dining (weather permitting). You can drive or in the warmer months come by boat. Group of 7 of us and everything we ordered tasted great! Lots of drink options both alcoholic and non alcoholic and good prices. We have found our new favorite spot in the area.

Enjoyed a beautiful evening there. Hubby had classic burger and fries. I had bourbon sliders and sweet potato fries. All were delicious and service was friendly and fast considering it was very busy on a Saturday evening. The sauce/butter they serve with the sweet potato fries was exceptional. Excellent experience and atmosphere. We must go back to try a shipwreck shake.

It's a bit off the beaten path but it's absolutely worth the trip.

We were attracted here because of the viral Facebook posts of their shipwrecked shakes. We were very pleasantly surprised by the food, atmosphere and the service.

Our server, Rhonda was a delight. Very fun and attentive. She recommended the frosted cookie coffee as a warmup and we loved it.

The Kuchie Burger is an inspired combination of flavors and is served on a fresh ciabatta bun. Get yours toasted for an extra crunch.

The Shipwrecked Shakes are works of art and I almost cried at the thought of having to take it apart. I regret nothing, however, as it was absolutely delicious.

If Kuchie's isn't already a "destination" restaurant, it absolutely should be.

This pizza pretzel is GIGANTIC and tastes amazing! Great idea to order as a group or be crazy and tackle it yourself. If you choose to tackle it yourself and eat it all, make sure you take a picture and tell everyone you just conquered Rome by yourself, cause that would be a pretty amazing accomplishment! Along with the great food, the staff is exceptional and it really shows they pay attention to the customer. Great food, great people, great view!
