Jefferson Scoop

It was my wife treat for helping her. I enjoy the many flavors available, as the selection is great. I had a scoop of chocolate Lovers Fudge and Seasalt Carmel Fudge on a waffle cone. My wife had a Strawberry Cherry Pineapple in a Chocolate Waffle Bowl, but when she recieved it it lacked the chocolate bowl & was in a plain waffle bowl. She ate it anyways, since we were too far away from Jefferson Scoop by that time. Both were very delicious. The outdoor seating grounds were clean, well manicured. Plenty of parking with available outhouse facilities available.

Really nice ice cream shop. Wide variety and friendly staff. There's outside seating. They have a large parking lot right off Rte. 32. Just a half a block away is Jefferson Market where you can have a great meal before your desert at Jefferson Scoop.

Absolutely delicious and very generous serving sizes. It's a summer tradition to visit Jefferson Scoop and Damariscotta Lake. I recommend the Sea Salt Caramel Truffle ice cream. Super delish!

Great place to stop for ice cream, friendly staff and they really hustle location is really nice as it's within walking distance from Jefferson Beach.

I love this place because they serve Gifford's Ice Cream, plus soft serve, with a wide variety of flavors, plus sundaes, cones, blended ice cream, various toppings, etc. It is a great place to bring the family. Easy access on Route 32 in Jefferson and within walking distance of Damariscotta Lake State Park. There are tables and chairs on the lawn, and a screened-in porch where you order and wait. You can sit outside to enjoy your ice cream treat and watch the birds and people go by!

52 flavors of Gifford's ice cream, its tough to decide! They also have 4 flavors of soft serve. Fast nd friendly service. Clean and well maintained. A bit of outdoor seating available. They accept cash and credit or debit cards. They're always open when they're supposed to be. A great place to stop when you're going to the Damariscotta Lake State Park.

The whole family loves this place. My one stop was a medium peanut-butter-pie ice cream with hot fudge and whipped cream. Rich, delicious ice cream and a hearty portion.

I'd be willing to bet this is the best little ice cream shop in the State. Great owners, exceptional people serving, and you can't go to a friendlier, more community- minded business! SUPER!

If you haven’t stopped into this Summer Spot, now is the time! Wowzers! The workers are fun, fast and the best! Every time I go, I am greeted with a smile and an ice cream! Doesn’t get much better than that! Also try their coffee special! Refreshing and delicious! 😘❤👍
