We built our home five years ago but still had an unfinished basement. Last fall we finally had walls up and ready for paint. We received quotes from multiple painters, but after careful consideration we chose John Kapenga and his team to put the finishing touches on our basement. The whole process from start to finish went great! Even when I decided the paint color I chose was to dark, John and his team were quick to offer suggestions and helped me pick the perfect color. We also decided to paint our kitchen island. I have all white cabinetry and wanted my island to be gray. He was able to do that with absolutely no issues at all. Other painters had told us that they would have to tape off our entire kitchen and because of time and labor that would entail the priced soared. John easily just taped off the island alone and painted it exactly how we wanted. It turned out wonderful!

This company was easy to work with, had fair pricing, and was always punctual and honest. John and his team were great and we would definitely recommend them our friends and family. We absolutely will reach out to John for any future painting needs we have.

I have worked with John on a few projects. He's an excellent painter! He is well versed in the products he works with. He's easy to communicate with and sticks to his schedule. I've had him color match-stained built-ins and they blend perfectly. He finished wood beams to match existing hardwood floor. Those turned out very well, too. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
