Anna's House - Grandville

This is our first visit to the Anna's House in Grand Rapids (we've been to the location in Holland several times). Food was terrific (especially the cinnamon bun). Service was professional but lacked some personality, kindness, and common courtesies. Clean and nice environment. In my previous review of the Holland location, I suggested that with the 50's/60's theme of the restaurant, that music from that period should be played. I was very impressed to see that my suggestion was implemented and a good selection of 50's/60's music was playing the entire time. It's great to see when a business listens to feedback from customers (even something as simple as music selection). Great food, nice location. Could use some extra courtesy from staff, otherwise really great.

Delicious!! So many gluten free options and they were all tasty! Definitely get a cinnamon roll. Gluten free food came out marked and they offered to use a separate workspace to make it to avoid cross contamination. They were knowledgeable and it was tasty. The service was great and it’s cute inside too.

TLDR: The Grandville Anna’s House is as good as any other I’ve been to. The food is always good, the servers are always kind, and the atmosphere is always noisy as heck with kiddos screaming 🤣 but I’ll still always go back!

We went for brunch today around 1pm. We ordered coffee, hot tropical green tea and a fresh squeezed (juiced) orange juice. The coffee was not exactly hot, but it was when it was topped up. My tea was perfect, and so was the orange juice- complete with the foamy goodness on top that you can only get from fresh juice- with a hint of the rind flavor …🤤

I ordered the Southwest Eggs Benedict with American fries- it was everything I hoped it would be. It was a lot of food, and the vegetarian sausage tasted really good. I ended up boxing half of it and taking it home to eat tonight.

He ordered a waffle with sides of turkey sausage and regular bacon. He poured syrup over his sausages, in case you’re wondering if they came like how they are shown in the picture- they do not 😊. He ate his meal in its entirety and said it was good.

The atmosphere is very diner-esque. It was very noisy because of the juice pressing (they have several types of fresh juices- see photos) but it always has been each time I’ve visited Anna’s house so I assume it’s meant to be that way.

Overall, I’ll return, as it is always a good place for good tea and brunch, friendly service and consistent experiences.

Visiting friends in the area and stopped here for breakfast. While the menu has some pretty interesting voices I stuck with standard issue breakfast of eggs, sausage, and some pancakes. Everything was an excellent. The tea was exceptional with your own little tea pot brewing some loose leaf tea. Very good, also very expensive (as tea goes)

Stopped in for a quick bite. Anna’s House is always a great atmosphere- clean & welcoming, the food is always tasty.
Annabelle waited on me at the bar and she was very attentive, kind, pleasant and always smiling. 😊 Always end with a empty plate! Food is so yummy 😋 ❤

Always an excellent experience at Anna's House! Ate there twice when I was visiting he area. Enjoyed a latte and the biscuits and gracy the first time. Super tasty and a large portion, but I needed to ask for extra sausage gravy for the second biscuit. The waitress was very accommodating and brought it to me, no, questions. :) The second time, I enjoyed a latte and the breakfast sandwich! Will def eat there again next time I'm in town.

Pretty decent food all around. At this point I come to expect to have a solid meal from any Anna’s House location. The staff are ridiculously friendly and the food is always a HUGE portion and cooked well—sometimes a little salt is needed! Worth going out of your way for if you want something to eat.

Avery was a great waiter! Also the sweet potato fries with the cinnamon sugar butter was insane. I got the corned beef hash skillet with two extra eggs over medium with some gravy on top. Delicious.

Another excellent gluten-free option establishment! Sorry no pictures for this one. But, allow me to describe first the food. I had gluten free pancakes, pulled beef corned beef hash and potatoes. It's worth every penny. Second, the service, our waitress, Saline (as usual, probably misspelled her name so badly that only the 'S' is correct,) was one of the most outstanding waitresses ever had in a while. But, the staff as a whole, also outstanding. I can candidly say, not one con to this establishment can be made.

Busy Black Friday but not a long wait. Was definitely impressed with the menu and serving staff. Living a gluten free lifestyle is not easy and love all the options. Had my first Belgian waffle in years and it was to die for. Will definitely be back to Anna’s house to try more things.

We come here at least once a week. I've never had a restaurant consistently impress me on everything. It's consistent, great portions, high quality food, and the staff are experts. I don't want to oversell this location, but in my opinion this is one of the best restaurants in West Michigan. It is almost always busy, I advise checking in online then letting them know when you arrive. During high traffic hours wait times are quoted fairly accurately. I've been called back early several times, but have not had to wait longer.

Check the wait time in Yelp (where you can also join the waitlist if there is one) and headed over. We were seated right away and our server, Kassie, was really friendly and ready to take our drink orders within a minute of us sitting down. Our drinks came quickly and our orders were taken.
Food came out fast as well! Everything looks fresh and tasty with a small exception of the strawberries on mg plate. A couple of them did look a day or two old but I pushed those couple pieces aside, no big deal for me.
Other then that our food was delicious, as always. I wouldn’t expect anything less from Anna’s House! Our server Kassie was also a great addition to our experience to the point that our tip was more than 20%
Overall, highly recommend checking the waitlist and joining as this location can get busy FAST but I find it worth it 😁

Amazing food, I got the corned beef hash w eggs and my girlfriend got the breakfast lasagna. Incredible fresh flavors, the maple bacon and squash bites were incredible..our server was friendly professional and made our long trek from Wisconsin worth it! 💯 recommended well be back 👍

My wife and I decided to check this out as she is a vegan and heard that they had a good selection. She was so impressed with all of the different options and ended up getting the breakfast scramble, it had eggs, sausage, potatoes, toast and everything was vegan! She was in heaven and enjoyed every bit of it. She normally doesn't eat leftovers but she happily boxed The Leftovers up and ate them the next day. Thanks for not just the great service but providing a place where she could feel like she was eating a normal meal and not just some afterthought side dish. Well done. I got the chicken and waffles and it was amazing as well! The maple gravy that they use is perfect with the syrup that I smothered the waffle with. Everything was perfect and we will definitely return.

Unique dishes mixed in with some classics, for breakfast & lunch. Like French toast being made with bread pudding. *Twilight French Toast*

They seem like they deal with a rough local crowd to be honest.

They prioritize the allergens without sacrificing flavor. Thank you for making a place for those of us who struggle.

The atmosphere was great, our server was fantastic (can't remember her name but she had a floral sleeve tattoo), the food was good and with generous portions, and we didn't know but learned they have a veteran discount which was applied without having asked. We'll be back.

We are new to the(Anna's House)experience. First off i was extremely impressed with the decor and the cleanliness of the restaurant. Second it was nice to see all there condiments where organic freshly made and not processed. The menu was nice and had a wide variety for every kind of foodie. Place was packed but we were seated upon arrival. Wait staff was friendly! and our server Becca was amazing.

I love Anna's. The decor and atmosphere on the inside sets the mood for a great day. Great menu selection, and the food is amazing with good sized portions. Ample parking. Our server was amazing and very knowledgeable of the dishes. The hot chocolate was in a big mug with A LOT of the food whipped cream.

I love Anna's house! Especially all the gluten free options available! I had the cooks sandwich, and it was good, but needed more sauce, was a bit dry. Husband had the corned beef hash and enjoyed it. We were there on a Monday around 2pm, it was not busy. Quick service until we needed our bill, that took a bit for the waitress to come back with. But other than that we had an enjoyable lunch or late breakfast rather😁
