Sapori Italian Restaurant - Washington Township, MI

We had been there before and were pleasantly surprised with the remodel and uplifting experience. The dishes are served much nicer and the food is delicious! Our server was super nice and very helpful recommended great dishes and cocktails.
We saw several large tables for what seemed private parties I. Their beautiful covered patio.
Recommended for sure !

We enjoyed our evening at Sapori. They did a great job. I had the mushroom ravioli and my wife enjoyed the scallops. They have Frank Family Chardonnay which is one of our favorites. We had a reservation for 6:30 pm and had a nice table next to the fireplace. Desert was also excellent. Parking was easy.

Our forth time here and it’s always fantastic! Great atmosphere and service, and the drinks and food are always wonderful. I have celiac disease and the gluten free options are expansive, especially for Italian food. It’s hard to find gluten free soup at restaurants and I’ve been able to have 4 different kinds here.

Had a great experience with friends last night.Cole our waiter was amazing. Main dish was great wine was great, tortellini soup was ok not a lot of flavor. Overall great experience. We're all coming back and requesting Cole.

Just hosted my husband’s 40th birthday party here. We rented a private room and the food and service were just amazing. Miguel took great care to plan our event and made sure we had everything we needed and delivered on all aspects of our agreement. The private room is just beautiful with a personal bar/bartender. Miguel even set up a TV in our private room so that the boys could watch the NCAA games. Our server Cole was absolutely phenomenal. He was professional and just made it all happen, including refilling and serving MANY bread baskets. Thank you Cole. Also shout out to our bartender, did not catch his name but WOW he kept up with our crowd and provided great service. My favorite was the Minestrone and the Veal. Thank you Sapori for going above and beyond for my husband’s 40th birthday celebration your team exceeded our expectations.

This super fancy Italian restaurant has gluten free options available! They had 3 or 4 choices. I got the gnocchi. Everyone in my party enjoyed their meal (I was the only GF diner). Even my 10 year old picky loved his food, and now says it's his favorite restaurant. He ordered chicken. The service was super professional. I would definitely recommend.

Never even knew this place was there. Great food! Definitely a must if you like Italian.

I had my bridal shower here last week and it was beautiful! The banquet room is so nice! I can’t remember the name of our server but he was great! So friendly and definitely hard working. Thank you so much for a beautiful night! So many of our guests said they are excited to go back there for dinner!

Awesome! The chef sent out a complimentery starter that had some favorites from his home town in Sicily. Great meal all around, but it sure was welcoming to be greeted with food before we even looked at the menu. Lamb chops were bone-nibbling perfection and reasonably priced. Side of scallops seared just right. We reserve Sapori's for special occasion, and it was fabulous for our 20 year anniversary. Thank you, great food and service. Highly recommended.

Great customer service very clean always consistent down the street from my home. You can never go wrong here for a family dinner or even a nice date.

Love this restaurant. Everything was very, very good. Staff was excellent.

Update: It's been 7 years since I reviewed Sapori's.
Last nite we had a way-above-average meal. Many entrees come with a side salad that is a small meal.
The white clam linguine is wonderful. It's not in some nasty creamy sauce, lots of garlic, and plenty of clams. (they also give you a seperate plate and cocktail fork for the clamshells)
You will not be disappointed. PS. Service is great. No unecessary interuptions during our meal, no long waits, our waiter (Brandon?) gave us a level of service comparable to those places that cost twice as much. We will be back very soon...with friends

Good restaurant, clean and organized, food was prepared reasonably well and fast.

We had Dinner last night at Sapori and it was excellent. Miguel greeted us with a warm smile and we were seated right away. Our server Angelique and her helper Gabriella did a wonderful job from our wine selection and Appetizer to the main course. Always great to see John the smiling Bartender too. The food was excellent Chef Sal never disappoints. I highly recommend Sapori Italian restaurant.

Swanky place.. delicious food. Their eggplant parmesan is to die for.

Ive been here several times. No complaints except it seems like they are going toward a finer dining experience and prices follow. My wife and I ate there a couple weeks ago and spent about 126 before tip. It did include two cocktails, two entrees two desserts and an appetizer.

Excellent service, food, and ambiance. As a New Yorker, I’m surrounded by quality Italian restaurants. Sapori meets these high standards and I’d highly recommend the zucchini appetizer, lasagna, chicken masala, and pappardelle. Looking forward to coming back!

Delicious food, amazing atmosphere, and beautiful decorations. Everything was top notch. Dessert was heaven on a plate.
