Terrific spot for breakfast. The duck confit hash was an amazing dish that I would recommend to anyone!

A small town cafe and bakery with a big impact on me personally. I don’t think there’s another breakfast/brunch spot quite like this. The bakery is outstandingly unique, but the menu is memorable as much as its creative. You won’t find a spot like this elsewhere. The attention, the service, and especially the food from the ACTUAL chefs were so thoughtfully made and plated - I had to make this place known with however much effect I had. Breakfast options are very savory, but balances nicely with healthy options and sweets.

My wife and I are Indian, so our pallets have a coat of south Asian spices which can make it difficult for non Asian flavors to really come through. But this place has become our favorite for breakfast. We only eat breakfast here when we go out because we're disappointed everywhere else. The flavors are just right and everything tastes fresh. The service and staff are amazing too. We enjoy their omelettes and hashes the most. If you frequent diners for breakfast you'll be floored by Ellen's. If you're Asian or have exotic spices in your pallet, I think you could be very happy here too.

For what it's worth, I'm not sure what happened, but the bar for quality food post-pandemic has been lowered. But Ellen's has remained consistent or even improved since then. This goes a long way for us... knowing that our hard earned money is best spent at Ellen's.

The space is cute too and we love their traditional bakery up front.

Price is important to us. To us, food "tastes" better or worse for us depending on price. I'm a frugal person, and I think the prices are very fair. Maybe even slightly under priced compared to their lesser competitors. Sometimes we tip closer to 30% or more compared to my usual 20%.

Their coffee is delicious.

We have never eaten anything other than breakfast and baked goods from their bakery.

If you're not a church goer, I recommend to go on Sundays before church lets out. Otherwise, people know how good this place is so you'll be waiting in line for a long while.

BEST cupcakes ever! We ordered two dozen chocolate/vanilla cupcakes from Ellen’s for my daughters birthday and they were spectacular. The sponge was moist and soft and the buttercream was rich but not too sweet. We didn’t have a single cupcake leftover from the party, I’m sad to say. We will order twice as many for our next kids party. The unicorns in the picture were added by us, but Ellen’s did the rest. Service at Ellen’s is always great.

Nice little cafe and local atmosphere, food is usually very good. Breakfast favorite time.. love their coffee...

When I start my day at Ellen's, it certain to be a good one.

I rarely stray from the duck hash (where else can you get that?) and it's one of the few places in the US I'll order an espresso.

Also, my kids love the ice cream.

Be prepared to wait on Sunday morning.

Not only does Ellen's have top notch customer service but their bakery items are incredible. Pictured is the White Chocolate Strawberry cake. My family raved over it. Beyond delicious. 8in served 12 people. Kids enjoyed the bumpy cake cupcakes. Always a fun selection to choose from.

So I wanted to wait til I tasted their breakfast and pasta first but it might be awhile so I'll just do one now. Their food is very fresh and quite satisfying. I've never ate a burger before that made me feel fresh and satisfied at the same time. Definitely worth it to check it out at least once. The bakery is quite beautiful also.

These were probably some of the best Shrimp and Grits we had outside New Orleans. I got mine without bacon. I also grabbed a plate of Peach French Toast which were exquisite. As you can see I cleaned the plate. However my fork is facing down at the 7 o'clock position which means they've gained a new customer.

The service was amazing. They were prompt, attentivwand consistent. Lastly the Bakery itself had sweets to die for. We ate definitely going back very soon.

Arrived after 3pm for a snack - sooooo many wonderful choices! For our first visit to Ellen's Bakery & Cafe we had bumpy chocolate and golden buttercream (w/sprinkles) cupcakes to share. Each outstanding! The buttercream used on both was the most perfect creamy, sweet blend. And the deep chocolate coating covering the buttercream bump was our favorite. Both cupcakes were "Best in Class!" We understand that next week the Cafe will be featuring a fresh asparagus salad with a poached egg atop so we'll be back earlier in the day, and maybe for breakfast, too! Next visit, when we are heading straight home right afterwards, we'll be taking Ellen's made-in-store butter pecan ice cream with us to try. I understand it's amazing!

The best restaurant on earth. Awesome food cooked from scratch. Family atmosphere. Sitting at the counter is a great experience, too.

This is a great place for an early Sunday breakfast, not to mention delicious pastries. You have to wait to be seated, which didn't take long for me because I was solo, and I was able to order soon after I sat down. I got a mocha and the spanakopita omelette which comes with a side of potatoes and toast. It was delicious but so filling I could barely finish everything! The service was topnotch. Next time I come by I'll be sure to visit the cafe and take home some ice cream. Highly recommend!

Great food and wait staff! A bit of a wait for a table but food came quickly. Nice interior and cleanliness! Perfect place for a breakfast date.

The food is incredible. Loved the lamb burger, tried part of a quesadilla which was also delicious. The desserts were out of this world. Service did lack in attention but we got there when they were at capacity so I wouldn't hold that against them. Definitely give it a try if you haven't been!

Great food! Great service! Enjoyed our brunch here on a weekend. We will definitely be back to try other items in the menu.

Great little diner/cafe. Good food, super friendly staff and nice atmosphere. I had the Maurice salad and it was yummy!

Was invited to have breakfast with some friends who were co-workers many years ago. This was a suggestion to try it and they did not disappoint either. Great food, service, never had to ask for anything. Unfortunately I didn't remember the server's name as I would highly recommend asking for him. Utmost professionalism and on his game.

We all had a great time and enjoyed some great food. I had the apple pancakes..hmmm good. Highly recommend them with crispy bacon.

They are also a bakery and the bake goods looking scrumptious to try. Will have to the next time we go.

We were greeted by a very friendly hostess and seated very fast. Orders were all correct and great coffee.
