There are not enough word to describe how amazing the employees at this shop are. Every time I’m in the shop I feel so very welcomed and I feel like I can ask any questions I need. In particular Jack went above and beyond to take care of a snowboard I was giving as a gift and brought it back to life perfectly. 10/10 recommend this shop over and other shop for your snowboard gear. They always keep a very good stock so if you need something same day, you will find it.

Ben and everyone at People are the best. The shop only sells quality product that the owner and staff ride which makes them knowledgeable when you have a question on said product. I live in Brownstown now so being able to use their website that is also mobile friendly makes ordering easy. I can’t recommend this shop enough and I hope whoever is reading this gets to stop in one day to experience what I have experienced since the opening.

Bought the Burton Kendo snowboard boots online but later that day realized I got the wrong variant (for Regular bindings versus Step-In bindings). Even though the shipping number had been generated, they were happy to cancel the order for free. Great service!

Best shop around for skate and snowboard. I used to be more local, but now i still make the trek anytime I am in need of gear. They make a huge effort to get you into the right set-up by carrying only quality product and having incredibly knowledgeable staff. Ben and team are just all around nice people and have forever earned my business.

I used to stop in this amazing shop when I visited my hometown on weekends home from college. They’ve always had the most incredible selection of goods and even better customer service. The employees here are amazing! My friend and I walked in with no knowledge of what we needed just an idea and they helped us every step of the way to be ready for the slopes! Highly recommend! Plus they have awesome clothing.

Local shop with some amazing brands and great price points. I've only used them for snowboarding tune up's and soft/hard goods. The selection and service is always top notch.

Love this store for selection and service, and for the good they do in the community. Have purchased snowboarding equipment and apparel and never disappointed. Looking forward to picking up our latest purchase, our 20-month old's first snowboard!

Ben and his team have been a staple of the community since I was in middle school. A proper local skate and snow shop. They carry a diverse set of gear and even their own merch is stylish. The team is always willing to help with sizing, gear setup/maintenance, and of course spreading the stoke. Fairly priced and far from arrogant, my go to for shoes, hats, hoodies, gloves and beanies.

People Skate and Snowboard has been/will always be one of my favorite things about being home. Such a neat shop with excellent customer service and rad products. Such a bummer being so far away nowadays (I live in the UP!) but always make it a point to stop in whenever I visit my parents.
