We visited there by seeing such good reviews and we didn't get disappointed. Best middle eastern food we ever had. My wife ordered the tenderloin kebab and I had the curry chicken kebab. Both were amazing and came with a soup on the side - my suggestion is to have the lentil soup. Service was a bit slow but the food made it worth it.

My family really loved the variety of offerings on the menu. The quality of the food was really great. The flavors were awesome. The staff was super friendly; My spouse made a mistake ordering, and they were super accommodating.

I'm heart broken that the rose water rice pudding is coming off the menu. It was mind blowing.

This place recently celebrated their 10 year anniversary and I’m super grateful they’re still around. The foods always great and the staff friendly.

Got a chicken shawarma sandwich and some lentil soup. Both were out of this world good! Flavor on point, super soft bread, and most importantly they actually use organic and high quality food! Next go in possible to find this quality of food anywhere in the metro Detroit area. They’re a little slow but way worth it. Wish I lived closer.

It was empty as I dined solo for a quick lunch but the salad was fresh and the lentil soup was delicious! Great customer service; very friendly and welcoming. Beautiful small dining room; charming.

The restaurant is very clean and in order. Surprisingly, there’s not that long of a wait considering there’s only one employee working. Ordered the lamb kofta kebab and it was delicious. Not that much to offer for the lunch deal, but it was well worth the price.

Just was there today off another review on here. It's a great date place. Very clean, vegan options, good cuts of meat, and great service. Definitely a must if you've never been!! Stop in! Chef came right out and gave her process of how she makes the specials! Once again it's a must👌
Updated: still a nice place to visit, salmon was really good(5stars) but they're not offering dine in options which was a bummer because I brought my girlfriend there for a date. They still sat us but was a different experience compared to my first review. Certain menu items arent available as well but I will still continue to come here when I am in town. Tip of the hat to whomever made my salmon today. 🎩

The food is delicious and fresh. The service is always great and friendly. For those needing gluten-free options, this is also a great restaurant option.

All I can say is WOW!!!! Never expected the flavors that exploded after each bite. I always say I wish there was a healthy choice for lunch, well this is it, the detail to freshness was clearly noticed and I was 100 percent happy with my order, inside was clean and the service ? If ou ask me, mighta been one of the owners, you can tell it was important to him that everyone was satisfied, I’ll be back a few times a week, it was that good

I never write reviews but felt compelled to do so after some of the not so good ones I read. This place is delicious, fresh and full generous portions. My husband and I are both gluten free and conscious about eating healthy and organic food. The food here hit the mark on all these areas.

Nice ambiance, wonderful food and great service. Their mushroom burger maybe the best in the Detroit area if not the state. Our server Rebecca was awesome and even gave us a taste of the Date Pudding for free and it was delicious! ! Great place to eat if u are picky about what u eat and the quality of the ingredients in your food. They even have vegan and gluten free menu and can accommodate most allergies.

We have been going to Loya since it first opened and the food has always been excellent. Today was no different. The two of us had the Lamb Kafka and devoured it. I had the mushroom bisque and my friend tried the lentil soup. Both were very tasty. I like the quiet, laid back atmosphere here because you can actually carry on a conversation. Service was excellent but not hovering. I'll go back again for sure.

I got the saucepan specialty (Shredded Chicken Breast with Jalapeno based sauce I think?) and the wife got Chicken Shawarma with rice. The Chicken Shawarma was so good that I had to do a double take and taste it again. I would definitely rate it very highly as the first dish you should eat from here. I would also recommend their mango drink, as that was very nice as well.

Amazing place, very quiet and cozy place for lunch or dinner. The lentil soup was out of this world. I had chicken shawarma and was extremely impressed. The fresh juice was delicious as well. Our server was very attentive and had a great attitude our meal being delicious was of concern of hers and we very much appreciated that.

Phenomenal Restaurant! Our server, Becky, was exceptional! Very informative about the specials, ingredients and information on the restaurant. She was very attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. And then there's the food. Delicious! I would highly recommend this cozy little restaurant for families, friends, a great date night or just a healthy nutritious meal for one.

I honestly dont ever leave reviews but i felt compelled this time. I honestly cant say enough about every aspect of this place. The young waitress (unfortunately i cant remember her name) was incredibly knowledgeable and personable, and was basically running the place by herself. The food was so fresh and unbelievably delicious, i couldnt stop talking about it while eating it! Huge portions, homemade and all under 50 bucks for 2 people. Please do yourself a favor and give it a shot, you wont be disappointed!

I have visited this restaurant a couple times now. I really like the food, the welcoming owners / staff and the cool and calm environment.

Their prices are very good for the high quality ingredients they source.

I live a few miles away so its hard to come as frequently as I like. You guys should open a location in Birmingham!

This was my 4th time at Loya. The food is consistently delicious, the produce is fresh, the decor and ambiance are pleasant, and the service is friendly (albeit a tad slow). If you are sensitive to spices, inquire as to the spice level of the dish when ordering. The Eggplant Sizzle is unique and yummy, but one person in our party found it too spicy. A great place to visit if you have an adventurous palate! Vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options available.
