Sam and his team are the best in the business. I had issues with my sciatic nerve and was dealing with pretty extreme pain for six weeks before going to Sam. He immediately knew what was wrong and knew what to do and I was feeling better after just one visit. I don’t think I have met a more honest and knowledgeable medical professional before coming here.

I will be recommending all of my friends and family to this location because of Sam‘s expertise and professionalism.

So I came here initially not really knowing what was going on with my hip. Met with a hip specialist prior and his recommendation was PT. It's been an absolute delight coming to this Athletico facility. I worked with Sam the entire time and I couldn't have asked for a better Physical Therapist. He helped diagnose that I have a frozen hip and gave me a very positive "oh we'll fix this right up" on our initial meeting. After about 2 or 3 months of PT 2x a week, we got my hip mobility to 95+% and it felt so much better not having pain in daily activities. Took some time off after that initial visit, trying to keep in mind the exercises they sent me home with, to then tweak my hip a couple times playing indoor soccer the following year (Jan 2024). So I went back and Sam remembered me right away like I was family. He asked why I was back and gave him the back story. We did a couple visits and he mentioned without a doctor script, he may not be able to get me back to where I was in the 10 visits, so without even asking him to, he went out of his way and called up the hip specialist I visited and got me another script so I didn't have to worry about having limited visits. Just amazing the forethought and kindness doing that sets Sam apart. On top of that, you get laughs, great conversation, incredible supporting staff, and pain (but the good kind of pain that helps get you back to your normal self, so don't be concerned). He is very accommodating in scheduling as well, since there were quite a few times I couldn't make it on my normal scheduled day and time, and slotted me in somewhere else on the calendar no problem. I can thank Sam enough for the help through this time in my life and helping me get back to normal!!

The only reason I'm giving 5 stars is because there's no option for more. This team is truly exceptional. I came in with a shoulder injury and received treatment both before and after my surgery. Sam is an outstanding therapist, and calling him excellent is an understatement. He not only masters the delivery of various modalities but can also predict pain points before you even feel them, guiding you through the exercises with precision. Sam treats each patient as if they are the only one there, seamlessly navigating between them. His excellent teammates, Joe, Shannon, and Brooke, make the entire experience unique and unparalleled.

I had to see a PT for a frozen shoulder and I'm glad to have picked Athletico for the therapy. Sam was able to get 90% of my range of motion back within a few weeks. In addition, it helped that the front office was very organized. The scheduling of appointments was seamless, and my appointments were always on time.

Went there just because they're close to my house and i don't wanna drive far. Ended up being the best Physical therapy center we've ever been to. My family went there and they had the ultimate service and the most benefits. The vibes are amazing and the staff is just one of a kind. We got lucky where we had to work with Sam. Lemme say it like this, if you end up going there ask for Sam and you can thank me later. He's just phenomenal! So funny and kind, and his experience is just amazing. He hit the spots like he knows exactly where the pain is or what areas needs stretching. Overall, best place for physical therapy needs. Totally recommend it. Ask for Sam don't forget, the rest are amazing too he's just the best!

Great staff! Great experience! I was skeptical of physical therapy in general but after just one session with Sam and him explaining my issue with my back in a way that made so much sense and no doctor had ever relayed to me I knew I was in the right place. He took an awful situation for me and turned it around quick. Can't recommend enough!

I received treatment at Athletico in Canton for a pinched nerve in my neck. Sam was phenomenal and took his time to work with me. The entire staff is extremely friendly and caring; simply put, the environment and treatment was second to none. Highly recommended!

I’ve done a lot of physical therapy in my life and I have to say this particular establishment was my favorite. The staff is super caring and educated & they have flexible scheduling. They also use some techniques that I haven’t even heard of at previous places I’ve been to. Sam and the entire staff are absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend Athletico Canton for any of your physical therapy needs.

Sam is a GREAT physical therapist!! The whole clinic is clean and welcoming. Not only was I able to get some immediate pain relief but I also got great recommendations for things to do daily to keep the pain at bay. 5/5 would recommend

The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. I have planter fiscitis and the stretches they gave me really help levitate the pain. As I watched the other patients and how they were also given exercises and stretching to help them gave me comfort that I had chosen the right place for my therapy. I highly recommend this place for your therapist. Also they are very flexible with your schedule

Came in with some uncertainty seeking help with a long term plantar fasciitis issue. Sam was swift and straightforward with determining the cause and gave so many suggestions on what I can do to improve my situation. Gave me enough knowledge and tools that I can take with me as I continue to work on my foot issue independently after my pt sessions. Highly recommend!

I awakened with Vertigo. The actual diagnosis was Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo. Because I was scheduled to leave on a trip I needed to recover. Athletico gave me an appointment for the next day with Physical Therapist, Sam. He taught me some maneuvers to help regain my balance and I practiced these at home.
Within a week, I was feeling like myself again.
I really was so thankful to have found Sam who was professional, skilled and encouraging. I highly recommend .

Very pleasant and friendly staff from shannon at the front desk to each therapist that works one on one with you. They’re very consistent and knowledgeable. Most importantly and impressive they actually listen to you and care about your progress.

Went in for a sprained ankle. Sam and the Athletico team were great in helping me get back to my feet and train the small muscles that help with everyday tasks. They made PT enjoyable and seemed to truly care about their patients. My ankle feels back to full strength and fully functional now.

Friendly staff. Large space with nice selection of exercise equipment. Therapists are knowledgeable and effective in their assessments and directives. If I have further needs, I'll be back.

I was thankful for Sam, my PT and the team for their support in relieving my shoulder pain as this was a first time experience with physical therapy. I was comfortable with the exercises and the flexibility I was given to schedule my PT appointments. I would definitely go again if the need arises.
