Lovely area to take a walk in the spring, fall & winter. Summer might be a bit buggy. Boardwalk is easily accessible for walking, biking, and pets. Spacious and well maintained. Free parking lot.

Gorgeous hike. A great addition to Blaine. From Lexington to the East Lake Park is about 1.5 miles. Boardwalk is super fun. Spotted few deer on my way. Spent sometime at the viewpoint.

My greyhounds and I really enjoy this boardwalk through the wetlands. There are also pockets of woodland along the route. Great birding. At this time of year I had good views of indigo buntings, sedge wrens, flicker, dickcissel to name a few. The diversity of colors and textures of the flora was stunning.

Half mile boardwalk through wetlands. Biked it Jan 31 2024. 58 degrees. Perfect. Great views of marsh. Nice interpretive signs along the way. Wouldn't recommend on hot sunny summer day. Mosquitos will be an issue summer evenings and early mornings.

This is a great place to do a quick hike. It's about 2 miles if you follow the path. There are a ton of ducks in the spring, and it's fun to watch them land around you. This place is also pretty in the fall.

The pups and I LOVE walking the boardwalks over the wetlands! The trails lead into The Lakes development connecting you to many different options to explore the neighborhood. Walking from the sanctuary parking lot to The Lakes and back is a good hour walk - perfect for us!

Excellent place for a walk, parking on either end of the walkway. Plenty of spots to rest and sit down on the way. Huge area, very quiet space not too far from town. There is a playground on the Lake's side entrance, and an outhouse at either end. The full walkthrough and back takes less than an hour, The trail will eventually bring you interval lakes and to the beach.

A nice boardwalk from east to west through the wetland area. With asphalt in the wooded parts make for a nice walk. Where you may see turkey, coyote or deer. With rhe occasional eagle or hawk may fly over. Parking is available on both sides.

It's a large open space for nature. It's not setup for people. I couldn't find any walking trails, nor anything that could be described as an entrance. So it's not exactly what we would normally think of as a good place to take kids to play. But it is a good place to feel the awe of nature.

The boardwalk trail is wide enough to comfortably accommodate cyclists and walkers.

It's a great spot for a nice walk on a boardwalk with nature all around you / it's a perfect size trail with a big loop at the end so you dont have to turn around you keep on walking or running a nice pace / very well constructed boardwalk can handle bikes with ease / nice size parking lot with a port a potty & picnic tables / only down fall is if you are heading north bound on Lexington you have to drive by it & u turn to get to it, only can get to parking lot heading southbound on Lexington / overall I give it a big fat A
