Baymont by Wyndham Lakeville

For the price you’re paying, this is getting 5 stars. Anyone giving it less clearly doesn’t normally stay at cheaper hotels often. The breakfast was pretty good, they change your bedding and trash daily, this location is fairly close to many popular areas, and the room was not awful by any means. Let me not forget the typical old lady complaining at the front counter asking for a manager over something ridiculous.. You get what you pay for. This isn’t a 5 star hotel, but it’s worth what we payed for it.

Staff went above and beyond to accommodate my family. They are very friendly and welcoming. Pool area was clean, rooms were clean (I used a blacklight flashlight that I normally use for my cleaning business and the rooms checked out just fine as well as the bathroom) this was my second time staying here and will definitely be staying here again.

Wonderful room - spacious, heat/A/C was perfect, exceptionally clean and tight. I was a moron and forgot my swimsuit, but the pool area looked inviting. The breakfast was standard (good) offerings, but: *spectacularly* maintained - as a former Front Desk Mgr elsewhere, I was blown away by the cleanliness and replenishment of the breakfast area - very well done, folks. Smiles from the front desk, quiet, fresh coffee outside breakfast hours, and easy hwy access - excellent job! Only caution - no elevator.

I attend school through a distance program in St. Paul, but do have to be on campus every now and then throughout the year. I have stayed several places around the area and I will stay here from now on when I come to the area.
The staff is friendly and breakfast that is more than just some juice and pastries is a wonderful thing to start the day with. I also appreciate the 24-hour coffee and hot water for tea. Little touches like that that are consistently up-kept makes such a big difference.

Check-in was a breeze. The beds were very comfortable. The room smelt clean. The only negative I have to say is there was some mold on the ceiling above the shower. I'm going to guess that mold is because there was no fan in the bathroom to pull out the moisture. We would stay again.

We loved our stay. The room was perfect, the hotel location is perfect and the food for breakfast was delicious. They had a lot more options than other hotels I’ve stayed at. The staff was really friendly as well! I normally do not leave reviews for hotels, but for this one I am extremely happy too! I will definitely stay here again in the near future!

The customer service at this hotel is top notch. I was traveling with two children and we came to this hotel after spending the day at ValleyFair in Shakopee. When we arrived the front desk staff was very friendly and efficient. I after check in, I had an issue with my call phone and was unable to use it. I went to the front desk to ask for suggestions of places that would deliver after 10 pm. He was gave us suggestions, based on not having a phone to use Grub Hub or those services. Once we were settled in, we realized the TV didn't work. He came to our room within minutes and determined that he wasn't able to fix it but he could move us to another room. He left and when he came back he asked me to approve the room that he could offer us, before we moved into it. It was more than satisfactory, he upgraded us to a king quite. It had a king bed and a pull out couch, which was perfect! In the morning the breakfast was good. They has several choices of cereal, assorted breads, yogurt, two juice choices, fruit, waffles, eggs, and bacon. Both rooms that we were in were clean and very comfortable. The beds were great and the atmosphere was relaxing. The pool and hot tub were perfect after a long day on our feet. Before checking out, I asked if there was a business area I could use to print out directions. The front desk attendant confirmed that they did, but if it would be quicker, she could print them out for me. She looked up where we were going as well as how to get home from our last destination and printed out the directions for both. Everyone that works here that I encountered was wonderful and the business owners should be proud to have them there. They made a potentially bad start to a week end so much better. We live about 2 hours from the cities, so we do stay up there when we come. We will definitely be staying here again. It is worth staying here and driving an extra few minutes to where we might be going just for the wonderful customer service.

Staff was friendly. Room were clean. Very quiet and peaceful. Did not check out the pool, it was there. They have DirectTV, so lots of channels to pick from.

The lock on the room's door handle had a broken return spring. It's functional, but you have to strengthen the handle before tapping your before tapping your key card, so the mechanism can engage properly. It's a very common thing to see in hotels in general. Not a big deal.

9.5 out of 10. Definitely would stay again.

P.S. There is a nice restaurant next door, if you get hungry but want to save gas.

My husband and I stayed here and we're very pleased. The rooms were clean, recently updated, and comfortable. The shower and bathroom were in good condition with new carpet and clean linens.
The hotel staff were wonderful!
It was a very good experience and we'll stay here again the next time we come through town.

We stayed here for a friend's wedding! The rooms were clean and spacious! They had breakfast ready in the mornings and if you wanted to eat out it is right next to Cracker Barrel! The staff is polite and we would recommend this place!

This was by far one of my favorite places to stay at now! You can tell they take pride in their hotel. Warm pool, fresh coffee, nice beds, clean rooms and not breakfast! There is a little play area in the lobby that my daughter loved. The staff here are so nice!! Thank you for the pleasant stay!! We will be back!

Five stars for amazing service.
We were in town for a funeral and they went above and beyond to make sure our family had a smooth trip. They found fun things for the kids, facilitated extra pool and family connection and every time we spoke with them, they were incredibly friendly and helpful.

The rooms were good (comfy beds, good pillows, decent room renovations, and it looks like bathroom renovations are happening shortly too), the pool was great, loved that breakfast was included, but it was the people working here who made our experience so memorable.

I stayed at Wyndham hotels almost exclusively when I was a traveling salesman in New England. I spent hundreds of nights every year in Super 8s, Microtels, Days Inns, Ramadas, and Baymonts. Now, on the rare occasion when I am traveling I still prefer those properties. I moved back to Iowa in late 2021 and had purchased tickets for a concert at Mystic Lake Casino in Prior Lake, MN - February 17th, 2023. I wanted a hotel off of I-35 rather than staying at the casino. The Baymont in Lakeville ended up being the perfect choice. Easy access off of the highway. The front desk man was polite and quick to find my reservation and check me in. My room was very clean including the bathroom. The breakfast room is small but they have extra seating. My room was $130.00 for a Friday night including tax.

We were nervous being so close to the road but our room was on the back and we didn’t hear any traffic.

It was clean and nice to stay at.

But I mostly wanted to say the staff there were amazing!!! I stupidly forgot my wedding ring and called the next day and they had it. I was so happy. Thank you so much!!!
