Val's Hamburgers

Great food always love the shakes and the fries I've been coming here since I was 5 or 6 years old now I'm 37 always my dad and I spot to go every other weekend I always get the same Double cheese burger with the works a fry and a shake. Favorite shake(s) is Pumkin Pie and Orange Dreamsicle now that I live hours away I try to make it around my birthday each year August 6th I wear my Val's shirt proudly I even wore it overseas. Visiting from out of state I heard this place is a cornerstone of St. Cloud and now I understand why. The burger and fried were delicious. I can tell that all the food was put together by someone who cares about what they serve(which is rare these days) One of their shakes perfectly roubded out the meal. This place has an amazing small town nostalgic feel that is almost as satisfying as eating their burgers. I will make it a point to come back when I come back to MN.

A staple of St. Cloud! Compared to chain fast food, I would pick Val’s every time! Great burgers and you can’t beat their prices! We can get two double cheeseburgers, a fry to share (HUGE portions for even just the regular sized fries), and a shake each and pay under $18. Can’t do that anywhere else around here!

Amazing! The french fries are like McDonald's but better. My one complaint, though, was that they were VERY salty. I'm not sure if that particular batch was made with a heavy hand or if this was an anomaly. If this is always the case, order the fries unsalted and put your own on! The burger was great very tasty. I would definitely come back here on my travels. PS - call ahead or order online.

Affordable dive for burgers, fries and milk shakes. No seating. If you have a smartphone, I'd order online otherwise they have 2 self service ordering kiosks inside. A cup of water was the same price as a soda. I'd suggest a double burger at a minimum as the bun to burger ratio is a little high on a single. Fries were kinda dumped in the bag. This place is small but they crank the orders out. Most people ate in their cars in the parking lot.

The staff at this joint are sweeter than a candy factory, making every visit a great experience. Plus, ordering online is smoother than a baby's bottom- no stress, no fuss. And the flavors of their milkshakes! The milkshakes are a flavor journey you'll want to take again and again. I heard from many people for a few years Val’s is the place for great burgers and fries. Nothing special when it comes to the building and no dining. That’s fine, cause the take out only food is well worth the stop. We finally experienced Val’s for our first time driving north to Wadena. French fires were my favorite. The burgers were good. It’s a unique tasty experience. I expect we will go back again when we are in St. Cloud.

Over the top, Hands down best fast food there is! My absolute favorite place to go anytime I’m in the area! The food is a fantastic price, it taste great because it’s real ingredients that they use! And the service is over the top amazing every time! I absolutely love the place And I would recommend it to anyone, highly recommend it!

Great burgers, fries, and ice cream treats. Online and phone ordering makes it easy. I only wish there were seating available to enjoy these tasty treats. Keep up the great work, Vals!

Val's has great food for very low prices. It's become a staple for us in town and a place that we know will be a great lunch every time we eat from here. The fries are uniquely seasoned and I really enjoy them! I recommend ordering ahead, sometimes the wait can feel a bit long if you're in the lobby due to the amount of customers. It's a cute little place, and the milkshakes are also very good.

This place is amazing. My daughter and I went here and will definitely be back. My daughter loves fries and says these are her favorite. The service was extremely friendly.

This has been on my saved list for a while. Found myself in Saint Cloud and decided to try it and mad I didn't try it sooner. We each ordered bacon double cheeseburgers with fries. The burgers were perfectly cooked and we absolutely delicious. The fries were exactly how I like them, hot and salty. If you don't like a lot of salt, let them know but it was perfect for me. Price was unbeatable and the service was great. They were slammed when we went but the food came out quickly and efficiently. They were generous with the fries and the chocolate shake was also great! I will be back. Be advised, there is nowhere to sit.

Unique atmosphere, great layout for a small space. The employees truly know what teamwork means. My suggestion is order online, you pick the time. The cheeseburger and fries that I had were great and their prices are affordable.

In the decade plus of eating at Vals off n on, like every few years. Vals never disappoints. Always a good price n good. Get a shake too I always do. $12 for burger fries n shake.

Still as good as it was in the 1970's-80's when I ate there regularly as an SCSU student and resident. Don't get up there often anymore, but when I do it's Val's for lunch! (Or dinner!)

Small store with fast and great tasting food, this place has always been a favorite of mine since I was a teen. Recently got some family members introduced to Val's as well and they love it.

I live an hour away but will almost always stop here on my way through st cloud. Way cheaper than other fast foods and way better food. Definitely stop here instead of any chain businesses.
