Munsinger Gardens is an absolutely beautiful and wonderful place to visit if you are in Saint Cloud. You can walk around here for hours and enjoy the many, many different beautiful types of flowers and plants. They have a vast selection of different roses that are unbelievable. This sight sits on the Mississippi River, so there are walking paths along the river. Its free.

Any time of year these gardens are spectacular. I have learned so much about different plants, insects, and gardening techniques just from observing this garden, that it's an education in itself. It's a beautiful place to see the earth come back to life in the spring and appreciate the last bursts of color in the fall. Even the winter scenes have a lot to offer-- don't just go in the summer. Go for your mental health.
I didn't expect to see a garden this beautiful when I moved here, but it's one of the reasons I decided to stay.

This is one of the most beautiful places on earth. So many great memories coming here throughout the years. Thank you to everyone who helps make this garden what it is.

I came here this time last year, but it was too cold to stay out and really see the beautiful gardens. It was in the 80s today, so I was able to spend as much time as I wanted to.

It's full of luscious beauty and water fountains, and a well. The flowers were in full bloom, and the trees were turning already due to fall.

It's a great place to meditate, have a nature walk, or a date.

I'm in love with this place. I have so many pic opportunities.

The best part is like it's two for one with Clemon Gardens right above on the next street, and there is a path to walk.

Absolutely stunning scenery. Lots of places to sit and enjoy the view. Not very handicap accessible, so I wouldn't recommend if you have a wheelchair. But it's stunning. Even just to drive by. Excellent spot for senior pictures, engagement photos, prom pictures, wedding pictures, you name it. Lots of great parking. Open every single day. It's wonderful. Probably the prettiest spot in all of St. Cloud.

Had a great time walking around the top and lower section. Really enjoyed the lower section being right up against the Mississippi River. It’s a very clean and pristine area for the amount of foot traffic it gets. Very high amount of respect and praise to the people that maintain and take care of it. Definitely recommend checking it out!

A beautiful, natural garden along the Mississippi River. We could not believe the variety of plants and flowers. There is a paved path along the river and a dirt path which weaves through the gardens. There are benches and a gazebo.
On certain Sunday afternoons, there is live music near the gazebo.
No animals allowed. Pedestrian friendly.

I was not expecting this place to have such sprawling beauty, but what a surprise! The gift shop had some really cute stuff, too. The bathrooms on site have flushing toilets and water to wash your hands! We even saw a peacock! 🦚

Beautiful gardens, free to walk, donations accepted. The large trees keep most of it partially shaded. A nice mix of perennials and annuals. Stunning beds along a river walk, the swinging benches allow you to enjoy views of the Mississippi and St. Cloud State campus. The neighboring Clemens gardens are more formal.

Beautiful gardens on the East side of St. Cloud. It’s a wonderful place to visit from spring through fall. There is a lot of volunteer help that goes into keeping this place so picturesque so please be sure to leave a small donation when you visit if you can! Side note, there is an upper and lower set of gardens, both are highly impressive!

Munsinger Gardens is such a peaceful and beautiful place! I cannot believe it is free (they do have donation boxes). The smell of the flowers and pine trees is so pleasant.
There is a trail down by the river as well, with ducks and geese.

The lower gardens (Munsinger) are not handicapped accessible, but the upper one are! Both are kid friendly!
You can park for free along the road.

This place is a must for those visiting Minnesota, especially in the summer. It is beautiful. Even the kids will enjoy it. Take a stroll along the Mississippi River, sit in a swing, or stroll through the never ending flowers. It is a Site for Sore Eyes! AND FREE!

We love everything about the gardens! The Clemens Rose garden on the NE corner, to the big rocks to sit on along the river and everything in between. Lovely fountains, breathtaking colors and textures. Simply terrific!

We like to come here for family quality time together to take a step back from the busy downtown life and enjoy the beautiful view of the 20 acre of gardens and the walk along the Mississippi. Feel free to leave donations in the many donation boxes all around the park.

I would like to go back later in the summer, as it was pretty now but as it's only spring it was mostly tulips and hyacinth for flowers. It will be even more beautiful later on the season!

One note: the signs at entrance said that no dogs are allowed in the gardens, but multiple people had their pets with. I only saw the sign once, so suspect it is easily missed. Everyone behaved well so we weren't bothered, but if you are considering bringing your dog it is violating the posted rules.

Magnificent garden. We were in this park at the beginning of summer and not all plants were in bloom. This is a very pleasant place to relax, it is interesting to walk along its paths through the arches. Thank you guys for creating and supporting this wonderful park.
