10/10 for manager of the 55404 area, Dan! Answered my million of questions with a mistake of a package delivery and left me at ease. Got a tracking update today for a very important package, and all is exactly what he said.
After dealing with customer service and a million postal workers, Dan has so far been the absolute best.

Don was super helpful over the phone, and helped me fix an error I made with the shipping address. Very quick and very kind ^.^

Been shipping packages from this branch for almost a year now and never had an issue. The front desk clerks are always smiling and social. Even when I walked in with multiple packages, they'd help with a smile on their face and interact the entire time. Definitely one of the better USPS branch 🙏🙏🙏

I had gotten some things mixed up but Kiandra and the other female employee working on January 5th still went out of their way to assist me. Either one of them could have sent me away but they went above and beyond for a total stranger. Thank you for being excellent🩷

✨Porsche✨ assisted me in renewing my passport (as well as my daughter's). This was my 2nd USPS visit that day and as usual the customer service was really lacking at the previous location. When I entered this location, I was greeted in such a genuine and positive "feel good" manner by Porsche. She efficiently and pleasantly handled my transactions. I was surprised by how friendly she was (which speaks volumes for the lack of customer service at the other metro locations). Every USPS location needs a Porsche! Her service was unparalleled! 🌠

Had to get out tax payments at last second. Postal officer Porsche was extremely helpful and patient as I struggled to fill out the various certified mail forms. She made sure that I sent everything correctly and even reminded me not to leave my wallet behind, which I almost did. Nice to get help when you need it. They have a tough job and customers are often harried and impatient, but no need to take it out on the postal service team.

The Passport office in this post office was wonderful and super helpful.
They helped me have all the paper correct filled in correctly, they caught that I had missed a field, and helped me with getting money order processed and double checking that all required documents were in the package.

They even have pre-labeled envelopes for sending to the passport processing office.

The postal workers are GREAT!
My experiences over many years have been wonderful. Even with folks who are none too pleased with the wait are met with patience. Would never ever use FedEx or UPS...ever! I use three offices, routinely: Downtown, 18th Ave. and Johnson St., and the one on 31st St. off Minnehaha. Same faces for years at all three; continuity is a good thing!!! They are part of the communities they serve.

I've Had Nothing But Friendly Workers Engage With Me Every Single Time I Have Visited The Minneapolis Post Office! I Don't Know What The People Who Posted 1 Star Were Doing To Aggravate The Staff, But I've Had Nothing But Wonderful Experiences At The Minneapolis Post Office! For Instance,
I Was Standing At The Back Of A Long Line And A Clerk Who Was Just Returning From His Break Or Something And He Asked Me What I Needed Help With And I Said A "Change Of Address" Form And He Said, "Okay I Can Take That For You."
This Was A Wonderful Event That Happened!
So All Aspects Turned Out Better Than I Had Previously Expected.

I have always had good service here, packages sent out have always arrived on time, with only one exception that was probably my fault due to poor packaging. Allow extra time around the holidays, etc., which you should expect it gets hectic and lines form.

This is a great post office. Lines move fast, mail gets going to my customers fast. They have a fantastic shop selling stamps and USPS collectibles. Anytime a nation tells its post that they are not valued, they will get the post they deserve.

Tymia was super helpful and efficient for processing our passport applications. Great, easy experience—recommend going here for passport appointments.

Very helpful each time I come in, even printed my shipping label for me when I forgot it which they didn't need to do :)

Everyone is always friendly, they know how to do all the weird stuff you might ask for when mailing whatever to wherever, passports, etc.

Consistently good service. Unbelievably beautiful historic building. The visit felt like a museum, but with modern service. Really special!
