I feel like this is one of those local secrets. Their specialty drinks are awesome and delicious. Did I mention they come in a beaker? Got a chance to meet the owner, who seems like a pretty cool guy. Super friendly. Overall fun environment. More people should definitely check this place out

This place has just got heart. It has taken a really fascinating space on the corner of these streets and made it into a locations worth going to. The live music specifically tries to support new and local talent, the specials on the menu are all delightfully themed, and you can tell that a regular customer base and culture has formed here. Amazing bar! Super upbeat and talented bartenders of varying shapes, sizes, and genders. Great to watch the game or live music. Perfect for a fancy cocktail or a simple beer. This bar is perfect for anyone looking for a good time and good company.

I have no idea what they do to make their drinks so good, but I never want them to stop. They are so clean tasting, delicious, and served in a beaker! It’s always clean, the staff is nice, and they have live music pretty often. So if you’re looking for a place to hangout, check out Mad Steintist!

I met the owner of this bar New Years Eve last year. Great self promoter that realizes the value of good customer service. If you are looking for something a little more upbeat and unique I recommend this location. I spent my fair share of that evening playing a pinball machine. Owner offered my friend free drinks for his anniversary.

Had so much fun at this quirky little place with an interesting concept. The drinks were fun and delicious! The band was really good! And the owner came to greet us and was exceptionally hospitable. I will definitely return!

Awesome place. Cool concept. Owner is a nice guy. Kind of chatty. Really cool mixed drinks and a nice tap beer selection..... great stop for pokemon go players.
Oh and Paige the bartender is great! Even for some that short.

The ambiance is so amazing,the fact that they have a big stage and plenty of seating is such a good lay out in case you can't sit by the stage there's no problem watching from the bar. The manager and staff are beyond the word friendly and inviting. I will definetely go back again good job guys oh and the signature drinks are freaking DELICIOUS

Went to the Halloween party Nov. 1st and had a great time. Fiancé and I went for the first time and met some cool people. Joe the bouncer and the owners and other regulars. We ended up winning the costume contest and I accidentally dropped the prize money. Fortunately it was found and brought to the owners attention and he returned it to us. He was even nice enough to buy them drinks for their good deed. Great people, great place would definitely return again. Thanks for a fun time out!

Mad steintist is a great place to have a few drinks with friends and have a great time. The pizza is absolutely delicious and the people are always friendly. The bartenders are extremely talented and have never made me a bad drink. The service is better than any other bar downtown waukesha. Stop in on a Friday or Saturday night and ask Ryan to make you an old fashioned and see what I mean. Best cocktail this side of the Mississippi, hands down.

This place is a great spot to hang out at the bar and meet new faces, not too strung out like some other close by bars. Nice atmosphere that will welcome you and the looks are one of a kind. Stop here on your next night out, you will enjoy it!

Darts, Pool, and a retro Arcade option, loved it. Really modern, fun, clean place to hang out and have a few cold drinks with friends, owner came by and introduced himself, very friendly atmosphere.

Their specialty drinks are fun and quite a decent price. Music was good, but also at a good level where you can still have conversation with friends.
