ETHAN set me up REAL NICE with some fresh QUALITY work. I think I called maybe 2 DAYS in advance and he had me there THAT WEEKEND to pump out 70ish % of a sleeve. Super chill dude and UTMOST professionalism when it comes to his work And his booth as well. KILLER LINE WORK and shading was on point. Stop wasting your money elsewhere and COME HERE to get treated right. Overall the shop experience was FANTASTIC. TOM up front is a great face and attitude to be greeted with, the shop had GOOD TUNES and is CLEAN. Nice moody lighting and comfy couches. Can't express how great this place is.

The energy & cleanliness here is top tier. Ethan is amazing, thorough & you can tell he is passionate about what he is doing. He can make a simple piece of art a masterpiece. His patience is relaxing & his talent is worth more than the standard rate. WILL ALWAYS BE BACK FOR ETHAN.

I’m so happy I found this place! I got my jellyfish tattoo by David Hutson and I love it! David is very gentle, easy to talk to and a great artist. I was there all day and it was fun listening to the funny banter between all the guys. I felt very comfortable and welcome. They made sure I ate, took any breaks I needed and even watched me get to my car safe. I’m so glad I found my go to shop!

Chris and his wife are amazing! It's refreshing to see a true artist be successful in business! The Cherokee business district needs a shop like this as a staple in the neighborhood! Art Monster just had that cool vibe, and they all do such a amazing work. We lined up a tattoo for my wife. Chris Sabatino took time to really find out who she is and what's she's about so that we can choose the right kind of art for her body and personality!

Got a sleeve done from Chris Sabatino and the detail he puts into his work is truly amazing. I gave him an idea of what I wanted and he designed the whole piece himself. Not only was his work good but he keeps you entertained also and opened me up to lots of new music and art while at the shop. AMAZING! The shop is so clean, inviting, and comfortable! Chris was the artist who did my leg piece and it turned out so amazing. I cannot stop staring at it! He explains his process every step of the way and goes above and beyond to make sure his clients are comfortable! When I originally went in, I wanted something completely different and Chris guided me into something that fit myself and personality. I highly recommend Art Monster for all your art work needs :)

David usually doesn’t do photorealism but I loved his work so much I asked if he was willing to try. He said yes so I trusted him and it TOTALLY PAID OFF. This couldn’t have come out better. He clearly has a gift he didn’t know he had. I’ll be wearing another piece by him soon I’m sure!

Finished up a leg sleeve with Chris and will definitely go back in the future! Everyone in the shop is very welcoming which helps to create a positive environment. I gave Chris an idea and let him run with it and the final piece is something more than I ever expected. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area wanting a tattoo done by some of the best!

THE BEST experience I have ever had at a tattoo shop. Chris, the owner, has exceeded my expectations! He delivered a masterpiece; took his time, cared about the details, and most importantly, at least for me, the smile barely left his face. If you're looking to get a piece done, you need to go see the guys up at art monster. Chris did my piece and unlike most places that get you in, do your tat, and get you out. Chris took the time to make it art instead of just another tattoo. It's hard to find an artist who will stop, take it all in and won't accept anything but the best. Not only did Chris do an amazing job, he also took the time to make sure I was comfortable going as far as bringing food for me as I spent all day up in the shop. Great music, great service, and great art.

They all seem like talented artists, but getting in contact with them is difficult.

Edit: Once I finally talked to Andrew in person, everything went great. He always responds very quickly to messages. And I love his work.

I initially got no response after I submitted the online contact form (at least 3 weeks ago), nobody answers when you call, and they text back intermittently. All this is actually par for tattoo shops, so it didn't really hurt my feelings.

I was pretty upset by 1 interaction: I finally made contact via text, and we had been texting back a forth erratically and decided to try and schedule a time to come in. I was told to come in between 2 and 5 pm, and to let them know what day so they can ensure an artist was there. I confirmed that the next day was fine and showed up at 2:15. The building was locked up, big metal door closed with a combo lock on it. I Called and texted, no response. I waiting 45 minutes thinking maybe they'd be right back, no one came and I got no response to my calls and texts. So I drove the 45 minutes to be there at the prooposed time after confirming the day, only to essentially be stood up.

Did a lot of looking at different artist in the area but then I spoke with Andrew who is one of the artists at the shop. I decided after seeing his work and talking to him that he was the artist I wanted to tattoo me. Once the tattoo started he did a great job of making sure I was comfortable during the entire process. Once the tattoo was finished I couldn't believe how it looked. It looked better than anything I could have imagined. I will highly recommend anyone considering a tattoo too go to art monster. 5 stars
