Stresa is one of the nicest Italian restaurants on the North Shore of Long Island. We went for my son's birthday and all had a wonderful time. Everything from the food to the service to the atmosphere was perfect!

Stumbled upon this restaurant early this evening. Great service, amazing food & great ambiance. My boyfriend & I’s new spot. Can’t say enough about how great everything was during this dining experience. Will be back over & over again!

I’m not just saying this, but this place is actually the best restaurant in the world in my opinion. If you go to other more expensive restaurants, they wont cook with nearly as much love as this place does. Highly recommend, you won’t regret it.

Our family usually dines at Stressa several times a year. The service is attentive and personable. The selections are varied and the cuisine is delicious and well prepared.

Lovely atmosphere. Great service. Yummy food. My husband had the veal chop . I had the duck both superb!

Owned by a father and sons. Like being invited to their home. My wife and I had yet another fantastic dinner!

I had my daughter's baby shower at Stresa. Everyone praised about the food, great, great service. Everyone loved, loved the food, especially the Salmon. One of my guest has Celiac Disease, and it was no problem. The owner, and chef, and waiters were very attentive. We had a wonderful time. The restaurant is so beautiful. I highly recommend coming here.
You will leave here very satisfied.

Was greeted by a gentleman, we had reservations, was my cousins birthday, started off w/Tom./mozzarella, I had lemon sole w/veg. Then they sang HB, brought out slice of cheese cake, choc. Cake & apple strudel sort of. Was very thoughtful of them. Would go again. Oh before I forget their liquid soap dispenser had the best smell, to was hands, somet lavender? Chao…

We attended a private Christmas celebration. Excellent food and desserts. Great service, attentive waiters. Cozy space. Plenty of parking in the back. That’s always a plus for New York. We had Las Vegas night, the organizers of the party had there. We had a blast! Next time I should take pictures to add. We were having too much fun and didn’t think of photos.

My wife and I have been dining with the family owning Stresa for over thirty years. They have never disappointed us while dining, serving wonderful food along with exceptional service. They consistently deliver an exceptional dining experience. This is a must visit restaurant.

By far the best meal I've had in years. Everything was delicious from the appetizers to the dessert. In addition the best service I think I've ever had anywhere. It has a real Italian feel to it and for what you get, which includes tons of complimentary goodies, it's not expensive at all. Extremely high class but also kind of casual. Will return too. I give it my highest recommendation. Incredibile!

Stresa Ristorante! From the greetings, to the wine, thoughtful appetizers that just appeared, the specials and the menu, all were delectable in every possible way. Stresa’s owners, who worked the floor as only pros can, to the wait staff, and everything in between, it was a wonderful and personalized experience. My husband and I are in love ….. with Stresa Ristorante!!

The restaurant has transitioned take-out service. It remains wonderful, changed what take-out can be. My wife and I brought the food home, lighted candles, had some wine with dinner. We will be weekly customers, makes being at home 24/7 a much better experience.
