Tom Wahl's Bushnell's Basin

Great for a quick bite to take home or eat there. They keep the restaurant very clean and very friendly. Counter service and use their app to order ahead. It's great and the system doesn't try to guilt you into leaving a tip for counter service.

Staff are super friendly and efficient. Food is always hot and tasty. Ordering on the app is quick and easy.

Thank you guys for existing. I was told "tom wahl's" is a staple of Rochester and I was not let down. As a Canadian from Toronto area who visited multiple times, I can safely report that this place is unbelievable with amazing burgers/fries and don't even get me started on the root beer float (also amazing). You guys do it very, very well and I cannot wait to come back to Rochester area!

Good Plate and lots of youth energy serving the public. Efficient and got the orders all right. Lots of toppings and good location.

Sorry Tom Wahls, but this wasn’t our best meal that we’ve had there! Two cheeseburgers that were over cooked and even though we asked for meat sauce, they were extremely dry!! Very thin burgers! Fries were soggy, not crisp!

First time at a Tom Wahl's and brought the extended family. The staff were great and patient as we worked away through the menu board. Huge portion when it comes to fries with cheese and some sort of meat, better to order one and split it. Really clean store. Avoid the veggie burger, it's not very good,

Drove the long way home from Danbury Connecticut back to Youngstown and just had to stop at your burger place and I think it was well worth it. We love the root beer fries were great and the burgers were good, what also made my day was the staff was very nice and polite and quick service, glad I heard your commercial on Quinn in the morning

The best cheeseburger and onions. Served fresh and the food was super hot and stayed hot for a long time. Worth the drive!

Brought my son in for a burger for the first time here he loved it we had a great outing father and son. A great spot for the classic burger and fries outing

Great family friendly restaurant with large selection of menu items. More than just another burger joint. Ice cream is fresh and tasty. Meals are good size and fill you up. Great atmosphere and fun decor.

I had never had Tom wahls, nor heard of it. Found this place on google and when I saw a picture of their burgers I immediately knew I wanted one. As I navigated their website to place my pickup order, I stumbled upon the junkers section. I didn’t know what a junker was, but when I read that if I chose one I could pick two sides, I knew I wanted that so i could try a variety of food in smaller portions (or so I thought)… I saw the regular cheeseburger was 5oz and on the junker section of the menu there was one with two 3oz burgers… so I had ASSUMED that meant I would get two small cheeseburgers (sliders) and a little of each of the two sides I ordered (onion rings and cheese curds). When I pulled up there were several children in sports uniforms with their parents exiting the place… they had clearly just had a rush so I wasn’t expecting my food to be ready as soon as I got inside as I was few minutes early. When I walked in I saw many frazzled teenagers, who were clearly a little worn out from the rush but were still as pleasant as could be. My food was ready only a minute or two later. When I opened the box containing my food I was shocked to see mountain of onion rings and what they called cheese curds (never had one inch square cheese curds but they were good), and two burger patties with melted on them just plopped on top of the mountain, with one small roll/bun on the side. I turned the bun into an oversized double cheeseburger slider. It was amazing. So was the root beer float. The food was delicious.

UPDATE:
They now have an app that you can install on your phone. Currently, signing up and registering will garner you a free cheeseburger. It seems you need 150 points to start being able to redeem them for something.

Food was good, and I was able to solve my sliding burger problem with their normal bun, by asking what options they have - and going with a seeded bun. Thanks for that option! Easily accommodated my asking for red hots with no buns as well! Staff is always friendly.

We called ahead because we had a large group stopping in. The team at this Tom Wahl's location was kind enough to set aside tables for our group. The service was prompt & kind. The food was tasty as always! Thanks for the great service 🙂

Great fish fry dinner & $1.99 Root Beer Float during afternoon happy hour. The fish was moist, Coleslaw & fries delicious. Great meal

Wahlburgers were on point tonight! Fries and the wife enjoyed a Mexican sundae. Prices have gone up and the online coupons are no longer buy one get one free - but the burger was worth the price!!

Great Cheeseburgers & French Fries! This is a cut above the average fast food, just as quick and much better.

The store was clean and the food was great (and out in less than 5 minutes!) The prices were a little steep but they are everywhere.

I have yet to have a bad experience at any Tom Wahl's! Food is always excellent, service is phenomenal!
One mistake was made on our order, they fixed it right away, and even gave us a couple free drinks.
My only two "complaints" would be 1. They don't sell thier AMAZING root beer in bottles to got. 2. No locations in the Buffalo/Niagara Falls area.
