Sandy's Barber Shop Pittsford

I got my first haircut ever at Sandy's. Sandy gave it to me, It was around 1986. I cannot remember the name of the man working with her for the longest time. He really cheered me on. I was born right up on Bromley rd. My favorite part of the experience as a kid was the collection of toy trucks in the back waiting room. I used to count the hexagonal floor tiles while Sandy cut my hair. There are family photos of me crying while Sandy cuts my hair. Sadly, I no longer have those photos. I always got my haircut at Sandy's even after I moved back in 94 to 01.

Was a bit hesitant, read some reviews from 5 years ago and almost didn’t go…
Tried the place out today for the first time, Lisa gave me the best haircut of my life. She’s the only one there now, owns the place, does very good professional business haircuts. Rate is fair, nice lady, an honest to god barber, not stylist. Will be going to her for as long as she’s in business.

Sandy's is the ONLY place in Pittsford that you can get a professional haircut at an affordable price. I didn't need to make an appointment or wait in line. I was able to walk in, get a quality haircut and walk out in no time. Unlike other places, Lisa will take the time and listen to what your personal preference is for your hair and how you like to style it.

I have been getting my hair cut at Sandy's for little over a year and I will not go anywhere else. Not only do you get a great cut/shave but you also get a true traditional Barber Shop experience.

New to the area and was looking for a barber shop. This was exactly what I was looking for, Lisa was knowledge and did an awesome job. Its your classic "mom and pop" barber shop, and the hot shaving cream/straight razor finish was perfect. High recommend stopping in for your next cut!

Took my 2 year old son here for a haircut - it's an old-style barbershop in the village of Pittsford, but they have lots of toys and books in the waiting areas to keep him busy while we waited. Sandy was really friendly and gentle with my son - she has a lot of grandchildren herself, so she definitely knows how to handle the little ones. Definitely recommend this place to anyone.

I would highly recommend Sandy's Barber Shop to anyone. Excellent service and you always get a great haircut. As a Fisher student it is very convenient, located right in the village of Pittsford. It's simply the only place to go.

I've been going to Sandy's for about five years. She has been in the same location since 1980, and the building has been a barber shop since 1940. She and the two other barbers there cater to men and women, boys and girls. She has customers from every walk of life and she seems to know them all by name.

I always get a Princeton cut and she does a great job, calling it her specialty. And for just $14 it's a really great value!

In classic barber shop fashion, my haircut ends with a shave around the back with warmed shaving cream and a straight razor followed by a dusting with Pinaud's Talc.

Just go! You'll be glad you did.

My first time visiting Sandy’s was a wonderful experience. Lisa is very credible in her line of work and she knows exactly what you want. She won’t let you leave unless it’s perfect.
