Towpath Bike

Tow Path is a wonderful bike shop. I've had bikes serviced there over the years and have always been happy with the result. I recently purchased a new road bike from them as well. They are knowledgeable and friendly, without being pushy, listening to my needs and constraints and making sure I walked away with a bike to meet my goals. Definitely recommend checking them out!

Brandon is the expert tuning SRAM AXS Transmission, helpful and patient. Best bike shop in Rochester area, and I wish I got my bike from them just for all the service they provide.

These guys are great. We love our Trek ebikes. Always had them serviced where we bought them until we moved to Maine. Needed a chain guard screw. Couldn't find it online but they gave it to me.

Great experience working with Rob from Towpath to get me into a pair of winter riding boots. He took the time to make sure the boots I was getting were a good fit. Would definitely visit them again for future purchases.

I bought my electric bike online add it arrived needing repair, thanks FedEx! Towpath was the only shop willing to fix this bike I purchased not from them. Everyone was pleasant and the repair was done in a day.

When I bought my bike at towpath, they gave me a great deal. I road it into the groud until the bottom bracket came lose and I could not ride it anymore. I brought the bike back after putting over 10,000 miles on it. It was trashed. They repaired and rebuilt it, so it is bran new. They did all this work in a short time. I love that they did not scold me or shame me for trashing my bike. The mechanic showed me my Bran new looking bike and said “I love projects like this” He was beaming with a sense of pride. No shame no guilt. I love riding my bike into the ground knowing that Towpath got my back.

It was the smoothest most comfortable flawless experience in a bike I have ever had, 43 miles 3,500 elevation and it felt like a 20 mile flat ride .....
Brandon, the bike was assembled perfectly and Rob, the fit was as if I had the bike for years , the saddle was almost no -existent under me......
Jamie, I can't thank you enough for keeping me on track with the Domane we were rode some pretty rough roads that were chipped and sealed last summer and the soft low pressure 32's were a dream, finally discs and DI2 ,
I hate you all for allowing me to wait this long to upgrade.....

My wife and I shopped all bikes stores in the Rochester area and found Towpath to be the most knowledgeable and comfortable to deal with. We purchased two bikes and have returned several time for additional items. They are very friendly and a pleasure to deal with.

This place has a good selection of bikes and accessories. Their staff is friendly, knowledgable and respectful. I really appreciate the way the communicate what's going on when it comes to service and are willing to discuss options. I just wish they had slightly later hours.

A friend recommended Towpath to us and we decided to stop in. We were in search of electric bikes and had no idea where to begin. Each person there was very helpful and patient. They worked with us to find the correct size and the right type of bike for what we wanted. They even helped us get set up with a few essentials. We absolutely love our bikes and were quick to come back and purchase a bike rack for our car from them. I will definitely stop here first for all future service. I highly recommend Towpath!

On a month long bike tour and bike started making a creaking noise I couldn’t solve. I called ahead on Friday to ensure they could service the bike Saturday to keep me on my planned schedule. Even though the shop was very busy, they prioritized my bike and got me back on the road the same day. Excellent location right on the canal trail with several restaurants to occupy my time while they worked on the bike. They stored my bags in the shop so I could walk around.

We were recommended to Towpath by friends, and we were very happy with our experience there! Everyone was friendly and courteous, very knowledgable, and they helped us choose the best bicycles for our various aged children whilst including the kids in the process, making it a fun day for each of them. :) Highly recommend!

Love being able to check their website for in-stock. They are very well staffed , and welcoming. Bought a bike from them in 2022 and a smart trainer two days ago.

Towpath was all the things I hope for in a bike shop. They were super helpful, moved quick, and communicated well. I had a broken part on a bike I bought from a private seller, but they treated me as if I had bought the bike from them. I'll be going back to Towpath for sure.

We had a minor problem w one of our bike while touring the
Eire Canal trail (loose BB). The guys at Towbike helped us right away even if the store was not officially open. Very friendly... He offered us an Expresso as well !!! Great service.

Found the bike I was looking for and drove from DC to test it out and ultimately decide on the purchase. I couldn't have been happier with the entire trip. From the first phone call with Rob to determine availability to the testing and fitting on-site with Liam, I found everyone I encountered to be friendly, knowledgeable and exceptionally professional. The staff are welcoming and make clear that they're interested in finding the bike that works for you and not the next sale. 10/10 would recommend.

Had a minor problem with a pannier. Easily fixed by the staff. Partner got fitted for and bought new insoles for her shoes. Very pleased with the fit. Outstanding service.
