Jay did excellent work!!! Our house had 100amp service and we had him upgrade it to 200. He was very reasonable on price, exponentially better than any other contractor we contacted. He got us on the schedule in a very reasonable time. Some places couldn't even come out to give quotes in that time frame. He completed the work in one day so minimal downtime especially during the summer heat! Our inspector even commented on how well the work was done and was very impressed with the level of care and attention he put into his work, and said that it is hard to find that these days. I would definitely recommend him, and have recommended him to our family and even our HVAC company!

Jay helped us rewire a lighting fixture box for a room we wanted to convert into a nursery. The wires were charred from heat exposure and the old fixture couldn't support the new light we wanted. He had to cut into the ceiling to reach good wire, but regardless of how bad it looked he made it look effortless and took the time to make it easier for us to repair the ceiling. He is friendly, efficient and fair. I highly recommend Voltek Electric for your electrical needs!

I needed increased power in my garage and Jay came out and recommended running 2- 20 amp outlets. Jay was very professional and did an excellent job. I would highly recommend him to anybody looking for a qualified electrician who will also do smaller jobs and charge a very fair price. I couldn't be more satisfied.

I was trying to change a light fixture, but a wire snapped off right where it entered the fixture box from the attic. I couldn’t pull more wire through… Ooops?!? I thought for sure I would have to go in the attic to get it resolved. I stepped through a ceiling one other time while in an attic (long story - lol), so figured I needed a professional this time! I never used an electrician in this area before, and tried Voltek. Glad I did! Jay came out and was able to get it resolved quickly; he didn’t even need to go in the attic, but it certainly wasn’t anything I had the knowledge to do. He even had time to change 2 of the other fixtures which I didn’t even call about originally (I lost all confidence in my handyman abilities to do it myself at that point :). Overall, the final bill was less than I expected for all of the work he ended up doing and actually seemed a little less than the hourly rate he quoted over the phone (he worked quickly and efficiently as well). I wish all professional services were this good. THANK YOU!!!!

Jay from Voltek was extremely helpful in fixing a problem with and arcing electric meter base. He's a genuine pleasure to work with and has very reasonable rates. I would happily recommend Voltek to anyone in the area!
