OMG! The amazing aroma of deliciousness as we walked on the sidewalk to enter the restaurant!

As we waited for our appetizers, entrees and dessert-
Saw the other Servers bringing out beautifully plated food and so aromatic!
Enjoyed my shrimp and grits, GNUDI FRIED RICOTTA DUMPLING, CHORIZO & CORN DIP!!
The truffle fries were yummy!
The FLAN NAPOLITANO was the perfect ending to a wonderful dining experience!

When we got our check, even though we were in the dining area- we got happy hour pricing for some of the items we ordered!

An all around great experience! Food was delicious, a great variety mixed with some classic dishes, so there is something for everyone. The shrimp appetizer was incredible. Cocktails were delicious with great wine selections as well. Atmosphere was bustling and busy but not loud and somehow still maintained intimacy and the ability to have a conversation. I will definitely be back!

Great little pub with plenty of parking and a happy attentive staff. Their burger was awesome and their whiskey selection is vast! Plenty to try. Lots of parking nearby. Well worth the visit.

Came here for their burger, I heard good things about it. IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! The menu looks lovely. I will definitely be back to give it a try.

Welp, I went back! Had a few delicious Old Fashions, some Salmon Crudo, clams, squid, and Fish &Chips. All very good. The squid a little over cooked. I would definitely go back😊

We had appetizers cheese board sandwiches dips just about everything. Servers also came around with apps. We had the whole restaurant for approximately 4hours one price included all food and drinks including alcohol

I can't say anything about the food. Because when we went there, they were having a private party. But what did impress us? Is that the manager ran out after us and brought us free coupons for appetizers. And drinks to return and thank us for coming. Very impressive

There are restaurants that look good and taste good. This is the rare restaurant that looks good & tastes unbelievable. The taste of the grilled bread of the avacado toast is unapproachable. Well if you read this I ruined the surprise for you. It is that much better than you expect. Farm to stomach!

We were pleasantly surprised how good this place was. First time trying rabbit and boar and we weren't disappointed at all. They were delicious, a bit salty, but will love to return. Service was excellent also. We had food we never tried before and everything were excellent. Also had the tuna crisp, squid, alligator appetizers, and tried my friend's scallop.

What a great find! Really cool place. In love with this gastropub! Great bar, high top tables, regular tables plus fireplace seating. Parking out the back too. Friendly staff and patrons! Natalia was the best mixologist! 👏

Public House is such a gem. Amazing food and our waiter was very accommodating. Cozy country club vibes. The fish and chips are my fav on the menu but these mussels were out of the world!

It doesn’t look like much on a drive-by, but the food was outstanding and the service was also amazing. Eric, our bartender was really great totally accommodating and made changes to our orders that were off the menu. Definitely worth spending some time at Publick House. Atmosphere was awesome as well. Fantastic neighbourhood restaurant. A fabulous selection on the menu that changes daily. Happy serving staff give you the best attention. I'll be going back when i am in the area again. Thankyou

This place has amazing food. I had the pork dish and I was one of the best pork dishes I have ever had. The octopus appetizer was incredibly cooked as well. The tres leches cake was very good. They obviously have a talented group in the kitchen. Very good drink selection as well. James with the server was attentive and had a great sense of humor. 4.4 stars is a lie and way too low.

Came here frequently pre-covid. Stopped coming after shutdown when the food quality dropped and service got stiff. Word around town is Dillon’s is good again. Came in Friday and had an amazing steak and a pour of Weller. Saw sn advertisement for Happy Hour in the bathroom and can’t wait to try this week. Happy to have you back in our restaurant rotation.

was able to dine here at last... it's been years since i've tagged this place as 'want to go'... the server has been very accommodating and very cognizant to tell us what was still available... we just had apps... the octopus was a bit on the chewy side so i guess it wasn't massaged enough or whataver to make it tender... the apple cider teriyaki wings i really liked... have never tasted such a flavor in wings... was tempted to order another but it was getting late... the drinks were good... purple haze... sage advice... there's another with black sea salt... gave it a 5 since we enjoyed the experience... even though their cocktail choices are just 4... i understand they're more of a wine place...

Top quality experience from start to finish. Chef sourcing primarily local NJ produce, cheese and meats. Wine list is diverse for the collector to the novice to have a great time. Wonderful environment with fireplace and super friendly staff. Must try.

Publick House serves up amazing food EVERY SINGLE TIME! Their burger is better than main dishes at most restaurant’s in NJ.

Scallops - amazing.
Desserts - creative.
Cocktails - well balanced and fun.
Honestly, this is an all around great pick. Enjoy!

I had an unbelievable meal here a few weeks ago. Service was attentive, quality of seafood was outstanding (oysters on the half shell and cioppino), and the ambiance was cozy (if a little dark). I’m going back again tonight!

Been driving passed this for years, first time visit. Thought it was a burger and beer place, could have had a burger but the food choices were enticing. Seated promptly without a reservation on a weeknight. Nice beer list, a wide selection of whiskeys. Waiter was attentive and professional. I had the mahi mahi, prepared well and tasty. My wife had the salmon. Dessert was a gelato plus chocolate. Room was a bit loud but definitely will visit again.

Fish and chips was delicious 😋! Also, had the roasted octopus, mussels and deviled eggs as apps...yummy!
