Stage House Tavern Mountainside

we enjoyed a light lunch and yummy dessert at stage house.... we just missed the brunch but what little was left out looked pretty damn good

the restaurant is HUGE with comfy 1/2 booth 1/2 chairs.... love that

the pasta special was delectable; they make pasta from scratch

a house salad was a bit pricey for what you get. small plate of greens, onion and tomatoes for $11.

the cookie skillet was perfect

service is excellent and the managers checked in to say hi and ask how everything was

lots of families and adorable kids

and the extra bonus you can use your cash back card because they don't charge that silly extra fee for using a card.

We’ve had the pleasure of eating at the Stage House Tavern on many occasions and once again it was fabulous. Minor hiccup with servers stations being switched mid-order but all cleared up quickly by the manager, John. French onion soup was excellent. I tried something different this time and order the bolognese. Omg! Trust me when I say I know my pasta and this was incredible. Even on a very busy Saturday night the staff was super attentive. Can’t wait to come back!

Had a wonderful time. The atmosphere was relaxed and calming. They staff was very accommodating. I wish I could remember our waiters name because he deserves a raise he was awesome. My brother really enjoyed his bday.

We went here for the first time for their Thanksgiving buffet. How amazing. Food & service were A++.

Stopped in 8-31-2023 right after picking up my niece after work. It was a total of five of us. We sat outside & it was the perfect day to eat outdoors. We were fortunate enough to have Courtney as our waitress. The menu had a decent variety of Appetizers & entrees. All the appetizers we ordered were delicious. The entrées also delicious. Courtney was fantastic, very friendly, funny & knowledgeable on the dishes. She kept everything flowing nicely. It was such a good experience, looking forward coming back. We will also make it back to try their Sunday Brunch Buffet. Courtney thank you for making our experience there a fantastic one. Hope to have you as our waitress every time we come back! This review was supposed to be done back in October of 2023....we had our daughter's first birthday here and it was a great experience! Cynthia helped us every step of the way and made herself available for any questions or concerns we had. The food was delicious and the service was great. We had more than enough room for our guests and they enjoyed the food. I'd recommend Stage House for your next event!

The Stage House is consistently excellent! The team is very friendly and attentive. You are greeted warmly and treated like old friends. I highly recommend the loaded nachos and tacos. I’m from out of state and was looking for a place where my husband and I could grab a quick bite to eat. I’m glad we stumbled upon this gem. My pasta was so fresh and tasty, the sauce perfect, not too heavy and my husband’s pizza was perfect, super tasty. Our drinks and bartender made the night, Susie was so sweet and kept the drinks flowing. What was supposed to be a quick bite, ended up being dinner and drinks all night, but I’m not complaining!! I will be back when I come back to New Jersey

Went there for night out with my girls and we had a great experience! The food and drinks exceeded my expectations. Courtney took such great care of us (she is really great vibes) and helped us figured out what to order from the menu based on our preferences. I will definitely be going back soon!

This place is my favorite local spot! Our favorite bartender is Susie, she always makes the best drinks and is so personable. Great music and vibes all around!

It's a tad pricey but good portions. Clean, well decorated, and friendly staff. A wide menu as well as happy hour drinks. I've been here in past but not my regular. They have live bands..and holiday buffets.

Brought a group of friends one night to stage house in mountainside, we were a large group but our server Kai catered to our every need! She was awesome! The food, atmosphere, service and drinks were amazing. Definitely going to return again!

Our experience holding an event at the Stage House Tavern Mountainside was exemplar! We had my husband's 50th birthday party there and our event planner and staff were excellent. They received delivery of my decorations and had my room beautifully set up when we arrived. Our guests enjoyed delicious food, drinks and top notch service from the moment they walked in the door. I cannot speak highly enough about this venue and highly recommend their services. They made planning this party easy and it was a fantastic success. They accommodated a photo booth for us and everyone had a blast! Thank you to the staff for all your hard work.

This place is one of my boyfriends, friends & myself favorite local spots for a chill but fun night or even for lunch! They play great music. Food & drinks are chefs kiss. A server/bartender that has stood out is Kai (Kaili)! Not only is she super friendly & caring to the customers she serves, but super attentive. If we EVER have an issue with our food or drink, she listens and does her best to correct it on her end! Kai has come to check up on us several times while we were seated either at a table for dinner or the bar for drinks! She's an AWESOME bartender as well and super sweet! Drinks are phenomenal when they're made by her! Super quick to serve us properly! We usually ask to be served by her only at dinner or the bar :) my experience there as a whole is most certainly a 10/10 being served by Kai!

Stopped in recently for a quick bite with a few friends & had the pleasure of Courtney as our server for the night. The food & drinks were amazing & Courtney did a tremendous job checking in making sure we had everything we needed! Overall fantastic experience and I will be most DEFINITELY be coming back! Even the atmosphere of the whole place was immaculate 10/10!!

Beautiful restaurant and awesome food.

First time here, my friend took me for brunch. It was like a 5 star hotel buffet. Everything was cooked to perfection 🥰. There wasn't anything negativec I could point out to lower my experience on this review. Well maybe the live music was a bit too loud, but who cares.

First time here after basketball at the Peak. Huge place lots of tvs and great food selection! The jalapeño whiskey wings were amazing!

My experience was amazing! Courtney was so friendly and welcoming. The girls and I loved her energy and we will definitely be back. The drinks were delicious and the food was bomb!

I frequent there because of the awesome atmosphere and the great service and food. We try to make sure we are there when our favorite bartender is there. My wife made a connection with her and now we have made stage house our regular spot. The food is always great the music is amazing and Susie behind the bar never leaves us with an empty glass. Best spot around!!!!
