The Cranford Hotel

My husband and I would eat the The Cranford Hotel when we were dating!
Always enjoyed their French onion soup and hamburgers!
It’s been awhile but this past weekend we went to the Cranford Hotel!
Busy Saturday night!
They don’t accept reservations for parties less than 7.
We waited about 45 minutes before being seated!
Our Server Izzy was great!
Of course, I ordered the French onion soup and hamburger!
Yum!!
Enjoyed the marshmallow chocolate chip bread pudding!!
Love the fireplace!
Warm cozy vibes!!

The Cranford Hotel is one of my favorite places, and I highly recommend it! Upstairs is a wonderful restaurant, with a view of bustling downtown Cranford. Downstairs is the charming pub area, with a bar and table seating, complete with a working fireplace. The food is great, and the atmosphere is even greater. And the staff is fantastic! If you’re meeting friends for food and drinks, it is the perfect spot! Also great for family gatherings!

First time eating here and loved everything. Started with the nachos and they were great, a harder chip that holds up and doesn't get soggy. The chili on it was delicious too. I got the crispy eggplant sandwich which was tastey but also light. If you're hungrier you might want more but I enjoyed it. The sweet potato fries were great. Also got the pulled pork sandwich which was absolutely delicious. Heavy option but thats pulled pork! Will definitely go back and try more here!

The pizza was honestly better than most of the pizzaria in the area. The duck poutine had a outrageous amount of cheese. The burger was so massive my wife could not finish it. The hanger steak special was also generously portioned, I managed to finish it and was disgusted with my self. The watermelon lemonade drink special was good, but could have had more vodka. I would absolutely come back again

Had a work lunch here and it was excellent. Sat outside and had great service. The Burger was absolutely amazing, cooked and presented perfectly. Would for sure come back when in the area!

The Cranford Hotel is a pub for those not looking for a pub experience. No frat boys, but plenty of Guinness, excellent food, friendly staff, and the likelihood of running into someone you know and having a few laughs. Five stars is too few to rate the quality experience. Order a pint, order a burger your way with fries, and get your weekend started right.

I've been to cranford hotel twice now and have loved it both times. The staff is very nice and very attentive to my allergies. The food has always been delicious. I think about the Burrata pizza OFTEN. To die for. Really recommend this place.

Brendan is awesome, beers list is great, and the food is simple and consistent and executed well. Casual environment but classy at the same time. Building is a land mark and hundreds of years old. The wings, salads, cocktails and everything In between is done right. You can taste a scratch made recipes style of cooking when you eat the food. I highly recommend it. 👍🏻

Great local bar and restaurant with historical background in Cranford. Their food is great with an ever-changing seasonal selection. Personally, love their caesar salad which they do very well. They always have a nice selection of interesting local beers on tap that rotate throughout the seasons as well. Large indoor dining area, lively bar space with a couple TVs and they also outdoor patio seating on nice days. Highly recommend this local favorite.

Very nice place! The service was quick and friendly and the food was great. The drinks were too! We both got a watermelon lemonade with vodka and it had real watermelon peices in it, with mint. Very refreshing.

One of my favorite local spots Downtown Cranford. The bartenders are always friendly and the White Cosmo is my FAV!

Wing and fried calamari are very delicious and must to try. Great selection of draft beer and very pleasant atmosphere.

The bartender (I think his name was Tony) provided excellent service!!! I was extremely pleased with the food as well. DELICIOUS!! We only had nachos and farmers' daughter's pizza at the bar, so I'm definitely going back to try other things on the menu.

Food and drinks are very good. Service was excellent.

Eggplant sandwich was amazing & Tony at the bar was great. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!

Well to say this place is great is an understatement - the food is excellent as well as the service - prices are just as good - I recommend this place along with all the food to all in the Cranford area - don't miss this hotel with history and great atmosphere

Time here. We all had burgers and they were really good . Definitely recommended.

During the summer, outdoor seating is available. The food is very good, but their beer selection is why my wife and I done there often. She often enjoys a great flight of craft IPAs while I have a pint of their newest Sour beer. I'm always shocked at their rotating selection of sour beers!
