Absolute gem of a store. One of a kind. The employees are friendly and knowledgeable. They've ordered specific comics for me to the shop. They've kept me updated when they arrive. Fun store to walk around and get lost in nostalgia. Wouldn't get my comics from any other shop. Even if I was in a life-threatening situation, I'd still pick Zapp! Comics. Thank you to everyone who works there! Zap to the extreme!!

I have NEVER had a bad experience at Zapp! I can't say enough about how much I love this store. I am a card collector and I travel almost an hour to get to Zapp! rather than go 10 minutes down the road to my local shop because you will never get screwed over on pricing at this shop. My local shop charges a consistent 10-15% over market on most things and they don't keep the store well stocked, but that is never the case at Zapp!

Very helpful and nostalgia from my childhood, still a classic great place all around. They have collected a great value of pokemon cards and magic cards. And they have a whole bunch of cool stuff for collectors of comics and the liking. Definitely check them out and they will buy your collectibles also.

Since I was a kid It's always a great place to visit. Up to date with everything and the staff is very knowledgeable. They have a frequent shopper reward system as well.

I've been shopping here for almost as long as they have been open. Ben and Corry the co-owners, are AMAZING exemplary stewards of the culture. The rest of the staff are all just as knowledgeable in comics and collections/collectibles. Whatever you're looking for, either they have it or will help you get it. That's true comic book fan fuel!!!

This shop is easily one of the best comic shops in the business. The shop is clean and beautiful - always full of new and vintage comics and action figures! I have never made a trip without finding something to buy! The people who work there are super helpful and knowledgeable. This is the shop that all other shops should try to emulate.

First time went in here, they have a great selections of comics, and the figures are in good price too!! I was looking for something that is not too popular in US culture but the staff is very knowledgeable to direct me the right place to look for and giving me the price range too!!

Hands down the best comic book store in the Northeast. Every time I go in there is something new, and it's always something I want. The staff is amazing and friendly. They really care about what they do. The events they put on are top notch. There sketch days are fantastic. Always have fun in that store.
12/24/23 I've been back in Maine since Oct 2019. Every time in NJ for a visit always stop in. Corey and crew are still the best. Still best comic stop around.

Zapp! Comics is my favorite comic book store in NJ. It really is.

The first thing I smell once I walk in is the classic smell of a comic book store of cardboards and books.

All the employees are absolutely nice and helpful. I never once had a problem here. I'm being for real! NEVER ONCE DID I HAVE A PROBLEM HERE!

Batman and Iron Man are my favorite superheroes, so obviously, I collect their comic books. Zapp! has the best Batman and Iron Man books. They have almost every issue of those two characters.

And of course, the owner of the store is great. He is very helpful and respectful. He helps me out whenever I need help.

Zapp is the best around! I highly recommend always friendly and helpful! On top of that they always have great prices great spot for comics collectibles and of course Pokémon cards!

I absolutely love getting my comics here. Huge selection that is constantly updated at affordable and fair prices. Great staff, super helpful. I've gotten comics, went home, discovered a page was cut up for ads or something and brought it back with my receipt....They gave me store credit. Very happy with these guys. Super honorable. Five stars to Corey and crew.

1st time at the shop today and found the shop to be very well stocked with comics, toys, Manga and other comic necessities. Great staff and very welcoming. An added bonus is their reward program for every $5.00 you spend on comics and cards you receive one zapp! Once the card is full (10 Zapps!) you can redeem the $5.00 worth of Free merchandise excluding items over $50.00/full boxes & sets. I loved the interactions that I noticed staff take with their customers and found that to be a huge plus as I am huge advocate of feeling welcomed when you enter any establishment especially comics stores. Highly recommend this shop.

Hands down, the absolute best spot in all if NJ. Facts. Staff rule. The owners Cory and Ben rule. The prices rule. The selection rules. The sales rule. The toy, card, and miscellaneous sections rule. They throw thier own conventional Zappconn once a year, YOU MUST GO.

Where do I even begin? I absolutely love this store so much. They have the BEST selection of comics, figures, statues, and cards. The staff is very helpful and friendly and their prices are unbeatable. My ex found out about Zapp 2009 and I've been going ever since. It's a little embarrassing that I'm just now leaving a review. Had it not been for my annoying ms disease that I was diagnosed with two years ago, I'd be there A LOT more often.
