Absolutely unforgettable! From the warm welcome to the impeccable service, every moment at this restaurant was a treat. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, offering fantastic recommendations that perfectly suited my limited hunger that night. The Chicken Chops Afghani was a flavorful delight, with juicy, spice-coated chicken that lingered on the tongue, while the Chef's special pressure cooker goat curry was a spicy journey that showcased perfectly cooked goat. I fell madly in love with their goat curry—it was exceptional! The Rasmalai Tres Leche dessert transported me to another world, with its saffron and pistachio-infused phirni, topped with creamy goodness and a centered rasmalai piece—a truly unforgettable experience. The beautiful ambiance, impeccably clean restrooms, and unforgettable food make Moghul a splurge worth taking. While it might be a bit heavy on the pocket, this is a once-in-a-while, unforgettable experience worth indulging in.

Great place for buffet lunch and very organized and clean. So many varities and great taste. I have been for personal party too. It a great and convient place for get together. Staff is so polite and helpful. This is the first resturant i have seen that all workers are smiling. I have going to lot of resturant for more then 23yrs. The management must be great that the workers love to work with a smile on the face. That smile just makes it worth the visit you love to visit often. We were there for almost 3hrs for lunch. Also my brother had catering down for his wedding from here and it was amazing. Very professional and great tasting food. Keep up the good work.

Love their food. The lamb chops and chicken fried were great! The goat curry had a great texture. Not super sweet like most Indian restaurants. Their Rasmalai Tres Leches was very unique and so yummy! Not super sweet. We sat outside and the vibes + music were great.

One of the best experience and glad to join Mogul team on their celebrations of 40th anniversary. They start on 26th September 1983 with same manu which is on discount rate for three days. Price is very well discounted but food quality is same. Highly recommend to visit and enjoy authentic Indian vegetarian and non vegetarian food.

One of the best Indian restaurants in New Jersey. The food was authentically prepared and delicious. Staff was attentive and courteous. The dinning room was packed with Indian clients. As the saying goes, if the ethnic restaurant is filled with clients from that ethnicity, it has to be good.

Unforgettable Flavors and Warm Hospitality on My Second Visit!

During my second visit to Moghul Indian Restaurant in Edison, New Jersey, I once again had the pleasure of indulging in an incredible dining experience.

Starting with the Tandoori Lamb Chops, the appetizer was a delightful choice that left me craving for more. The Dal Bukhara provided that creamy and comforting touch, while the Chef's Special Pressure Cooker Goat Curry stole the show with its tender pieces of goat in a fragrant curry sauce. Paired with Garlic Naan, it was a symphony of flavors that delighted my taste buds.

Just like my previous visit, the chefs' dedication and skill were evident in every dish, as they brought the authentic tastes of India to my table. The staff's impeccable service and guidance through the menu added to the overall enjoyment of the evening.

Moghul Indian Restaurant has yet again exceeded my expectations with its flavors, warm hospitality, and inviting ambiance. If you're seeking an unparalleled Indian dining experience, this restaurant is a definite must-visit. I'm eagerly looking forward to my next opportunity to explore more of their culinary offerings!

We love to try the best of the best Indian restaurants around the world and our favourite dish is Lamb Chops cooked in a Tandoor. Moghul by far has perfected their lamb chops and it was better than any Michelin Star Indian Restaurant we have been too. Paired with a Rupee Indian Lager (based out of Boston) and you have an incredible meal. We also tried the Tandoori Chicken and it was perfect. We have been to hundreds of Indian restaurants (we’re from Toronto) and by far Moghul has the best tandoor / masala for their meats.

My first time here and I loved it!! Excellent food, great decor, variety of food. We were sat quickly and everyone was very pleasant. We ordered different dishes and one was better than the other! Dessert even better! Cocktails were delicious as well. Our table was in a pretty corner and we enjoyed our dinner. Will come back for sure.

We celebrated our grandma’s 82nd birthday and had a wonderful time. Last time I was here was for my 21st birthday. Food was delicious. And the service was excellent. Will come back soon!

Revisited this place after a while and I was highly impressed to see the new menu and food presentation. The place is good full of positive vibes and great energy. The staff are polite and attentive. The food tastes good- simple, authentic, and flavourful. The ambiance is vibrant. We had a great time with our family and would love to visit the place again. Special thanks to chef Sanjeev he is such an amazing and talented person impressed with his deep knowledge of Indian Food.

Loved the atmosphere. specially buffet food was mind-blowing. Service was too good. We had also ordered Ala carte food. Tandoori dishes was Mouth watering.

Incredible food and ambiance! We had the kashmiri pulao, hyderabadi murgh masala, chili cheese paneer. Our server Valentine took especially great care of us from start to finish. Food was brought quickly and the chicken was so fresh! We finished with gulab jamun and the ras malai tres leches! WILL BE BACK!

Authentic Indian food option in town. Much much improved quality of food since my last visit to this place. I definitely think the place is worth the visit again to try out their other options. The Tandoor items and Biryani were top notch. Very good vegetarian spread and deserts also.

Most importantly, the restaurant staff were energetic and helpful, making it a
overall great experience.

Love this place would come back anytime. I’ve been here a couple of time and the food is delicious. The chicken was so tender and easy to cut through. The waiters Dhaval and Vikas were extremely helpful. If you’re looking for a place to eat in Edison would definitely come here. The seating was comfortable and loved the vibes of the place. My family tried the pressure cooker goat, chicken wings with a mouth watering sauce, we also had the garlic naan and you could really taste that garlic flavor. For a drink I tried the mango lassi and it was so creamy I could really taste the mango flavor. Would highly recommend.

Loved dining in at Moghul. Our server Valentine was outstanding, friendly,
and made our experience at Moghul memorable. Naan is super fluffy and definitely a must try. Food is high quality for the price and definitely top restaurant in Edison.

A wonderful family restaurant with a typical Indian ambience. The service was great and the food was sumptuous. The non-veg food was very tasty and the veg dishes were fine too.

Very nice place with great food options. Walked in without much expectations but were pleasantly surprised to have a good food.

Happened to have buffet this day, with both veg and non-veg items. We were a group of friends meeting after a while and really enjoyed the good, the ambience and the service.

And they had a made to order Chaat, Samosa and Bhel, both were good. A spicier version would have been preferable.

Good and courteous service. Buffet had plenty of curries, rice varieties, and Naan bread. The dessert - both Gulab Jamoon and Rasmalai - were really good. Everyone enjoyed the food.

This place is the best! We hosted my grandmothers 75th birthday and they took care of us like family. Special thanks to Vikas, Valentine, Avesh, and Lorson as well as the entire staff for taking care of all our guests. One of the best Indian restaurants in New Jersey!
